Lemon Shining Silver Haze is a sativa-dominant cross of the famous Lemon Skunk and the coffeeshop classic Shining Silver Haze. Lemon Shining Silver Haze has a bold lemon aroma that she inherited from both parents, as well as a whopping 25% THC content and close to 1% CBD. Her potency, uplifting cerebral high, and delicious aromas led Lemon Shining Silver Haze to win the 2008 High Times Cannabis Cup, which only increased her popularity. Large yields are the icing on this lemon-flavoured cake.

Well, there's a lot to say about this plant in particular. I mean, it was a Lemon Shining Silver Haze indeed, but it tasted different to the first one I grew. The funny thing is, I have no idea which one I prefer. But let's focus on this one. It has a fresh smell and taste. It's not too complex, but it has many layers still, fruity, citric and sweet, which is something not everybody would be expecting. It hits hard and fast, a very uplifting high, ideal to increase a few more hours to my skateboarding sessions. My friends also loved it. The yield was not great, I usually get 60 g in my setup, this time, it was a 45 g, it was my first mainlining, I usually do a different LST, looking more like a star, I believe it may have affected the outcome. The stretch took only 2 weeks, as you may see in the pictures, but it grew big, as you can see in the data available. Another great plant from what I believe to be the best genetics lab in recreational cannabis. There's still one seed left, to be seeded at June 25'. It took me a while to review the harvest, but here I am.

Lemon Shining Silver Haze Strain Review by timbarin Preface It takes me roughly two months to write a smoke review. Instead of counting the time, I count the experiences shared with close friends and others. Those moments are what shape the smoke review. What can never truly be captured, though, are the feelings. :-) I do not sell, distribute, or do anything with my product besides using it for personal consumption and journaling. All reviews are unbiased and based on input from several people. Strain Overview Name: Lemon Shining Silver Haze Type: Sativa-dominant Hybrid Genetics: Lemon Skunk × Shining Silver Haze THC Content: ~25% CBD Content: ~0.88% Aroma/Flavor: Strong lemon scent; citrusy, sour, skunky yet sweet – often compared to lemon-flavored candy Terpene Profile: High in limonene Effects: Potent, uplifting cerebral high Awards: 2008 High Times Cannabis Cup Winner Yields: High production First Impressions Lemon Shining Silver Haze is a powerful Sativa-dominant strain born from two citrus-rich legends: Lemon Skunk and Shining Silver Haze. It clocks in at around 25% THC and delivers a strong, energetic cerebral high—perfect for boosting mood, sparking creativity, and staying engaged. The flavor is vibrant and bold: intense lemon, layered with sour citrus, subtle sweetness, and just the right touch of dank skunk. It’s a full-flavored experience whether you’re smoking or vaping. Its high limonene content enhances not just the flavor, but the clear-headed, uplifting high as well. No wonder it took home the gold at the 2008 High Times Cannabis Cup. This one’s for flavor chasers and potency lovers alike. Grow Cycle Growing this strain was fairly straightforward: Start: Seedling in a 1L pot Transplant: After 4 weeks, moved to a 15L pot with netting to manage vertical growth Structure: Classic Sativa—tall and a bit lanky Lighting: 300W LED in a large tent Flowering Time: ~8 weeks We encountered our only issue around week 5 of flowering. Rust spots appeared on the leaves. The runoff was 6.3 pH with PPM at 1300—right where it should be—so we suspected a nutrient lockout. A couple of flushes helped stabilize things, and luckily, the issue didn’t worsen. The final three weeks were smooth. She fattened up nicely and was ready to chop after the 8-week mark. Bud structure: Long (6–8 cm), cone-shaped, and straight-up look like baby Christmas trees. Dense and frosty. Smoke Review This strain hits hard with that classic Sativa buzz—psychedelic, uplifting, and productive. The first time I tried it, I felt like electricity was flowing through my veins. It kept me alert for two solid hours. The only problem? I had nothing to do that day. It was a lazy weekend. ;-) This is the kind of strain made for movement and connection—thinking, hiking, journaling, deep convos, or even just getting some cleaning done while zoning into a playlist. The weather's crap at the moment, but I can picture myself walking through a forest, admiring every little living thing, taking a slow puff, and reflecting on life goals and next steps. Final Thoughts Lemon Shining Silver Haze is for people who like their weed with flavor, punch, and purpose. Perfect for: Outdoor adventures Creative work Energetic social hangs Reflective solo time Not ideal for: Trying to fall asleep Low-tolerance smokers looking for a mellow time If you're into citrus-heavy strains that deliver both taste and intensity, this one is a must-try. On one Cola I got sone bud rot, overall I think the LSSH is quite resistent. Nice and colorful plant with good amount of yield. Harvesting was easy as there where not much leaves in the cola.

I haven't grown much, but this cultivar seeds were my biggest and tastiest plants to date, with the most beautiful buds! Highly recommend, all my friends loved it and noted how it tasted more like blueberries rather than lemons but there were some notes of citrus present as well. Delicious strain which I'm currently growing it again.
