Hey guys/gals welcome to my first grow diary! Well it's week nine and it's still 🔥 in my tent. So I decided to change my light from the philizon 600w to a Viparspectra vs1000 to try to help the flowering and see if it would cool my tent down some. It helped by a degree or two but anything helps! The 🌸 were responding to the Viparspectra very well until I missed a watering day and she got to dry from my blazing tent. So when I came home and checked on my girls I noticed my Northern lights is lime green and the bottom leaves are yellow and falling off. So did some research and it's nitrogen and a lack of other nutrients that cause the loss of color. So gave a heavy feeding. The only problem with that is the top layer of soil absorbed water and then it all ran to the bottom of the pot and into the runoff tray so I let them soak for 10 mins and then drained runoff. So the top and bottom are moist and I can push on the side of pot and u can feel it's dry soil but the pot feels heavy. So I will wait it out and feed again. I have noticed the color coming back to the Northern lights so their is improvement! No issues with pineapple auto! UNTIL..... Don't use neem oil on your plants in flower!!! Before u wonder yes! I sprayed them in dark cycle. They soaked over 11 hrs before lights on. It literally says on the bottle u can use up till harvest day! So I drenched them in neem oil lastnight because I believe the bugs are causing a lot of my deficiency problems. Got up this morning and bugs are still flying all around. The neem oil is a bust! Also checked the plants as soon as lights on this morning to make sure oil was absorbed and noticed all the pistols on both plants are fried. They were white and plump yesterday so that's all I can think it could be. I did read an article that also says that neem oil shouldn't be used in flower because it has chemicals toxic to humans. Here I copied the article: Neem Oil will leave an unpleasant taste/smell on buds when used to treat flowering plants, so don’t let this stuff get near your buds! There’s also some evidence Neem oil may be harmful to humans so use with care! That being said, Neem oil is an all-natural remedy that is very effective against many different types of bugs and mold. You will need a mister (also called a “One-Hand Pressure Sprayer”) to spray all the leaves evenly since neem oil and water can separate easily. *Bugs* so I've said this before but in case your just reading this week of my diary I bought some cheap potting soil from Walmart for this grow. I spray my sapling with a spray bottle for the first 7 days for water and on day 2 spraying the soil I noticed little tiny white bugs crawling all over the soil and from then on it's been a battle that I'm losing. I have now ordered some dematious earth sure I didn't spell that right! Hoping this will help. We shall see. Well till next week! The FBTO1 is on the left. She is transitioning to flower and stretching pretty fast. I have been plucking some leaves from the top to get light to as many buds as possible. Also cleaned up a few lower branches that were never going to make it to the top. Going to keep plucking a few here and there as she stretches. I totally neglected their water running it 2 weeks without checking it, but I kept an eye on the leaves and there were no issues. I gave them a flush and fresh nutrients today. Started them on a little maxibloom. Will probably start some liquid Koolbloom next week. Excited to see what kind of flowers this girl puts on. She is under a galaxyhydro 140 watt but there is 1000 watts total led running in the room so she is getting some extra light from those. Nutrients per gallon .5 tsp maxigro .25 tsp maxibloom .5 tsp calimagic Ph to 6.0

So the smallest 5gal white og flipped her leaves on me. Like WHAT!!! Some research showed me cal-mag was the solution. And I know why. As I mentioned in. My other diaries - ph is off on my well water. I know this and also plants need water. So to water the hot dry plants before running Around for Work or not. I had no time for adjustments and feeding. As guilty as I feel.... well... is what it is. Got the greenhouse back on track today with a good ph water and cal-mag plus feeding. Will watch for improvement. They are all pretty hardy im impressed by their largeness. The large one has exceeded my height and is also filling out. I have topped twice and once on smaller ones. Started to defoliate some of the under leaves and other leaves that had some pest damage. No major pest issues since I battled the flea Beatles but I didn’t capture grasshopper and a caterpillar 🐛 and a white looking spider with egg sack (be gone evil beings) but these girls are outdoors and that’s where bugs live sooooo... whatcha gunna do. 🤷‍♀️🏻 Moving on. Another 6 weeks and these girls should be heading into the flowering zone. Excite to watch that phase. Hope I have enough room out there. Once temps drop around here a little more I will remove the shade screen And spread them out a bit. But I can’t yet as the greenhouse reaches temps over 100 without it.

The week is progressing well they continue to grow and flourish. I just fed them today 3 liters each of 1 ml floragro, 2 ml FloraMicro, 3 ml FloraBloom mixed into 3 gallons. They take 3 liters every 3 day. The main Cola of CF#3 has stretched all the way to the light. I thought about tying it down, however the light has not bleached it as of yet and it's been about 2 weeks.

Day 42 week 6 Feed a bonide mixture 2nd time in a week. Pest have gotten worse but trying to manage persistently. Growth seems to be picking up. Added a 2nd mars hydro Cree 128 as I got a new flower light. Trying to get them used to the new lights and a better ppfd range as I was using the wrong measurements for the past year of growing around 75 umol range … surprising yeilds though with knock off lights in those conditions looking back on it. Next grow will be smooth hopefully lol Day 47 Top dressed 444 Gia green 2 tbps Alfalfa meal 1 tbsp Kelp meal 2 tbsp Crab meal 2 tbsp Asomite 1 tsp Gradual humid acid 1 tsp Glacier rock dust 1 tsp 1-1.5 tbsp of em bokashi bran .5 mykos gruanual mycorrhizal fungi Also sprinkled some langbeinite on I’m thinking there’s potassium deficiency in the soil mixture with this long veg and haven’t feed much potassium. Leafs showing some signs of it. Added 1 inch mulch layer of rabbit compost/ wood chips and spread some clover seeds underneath. Finally got my silica in the mail so soaked it all down with 3ml or 3 grams of 1 gallon of water split between each plant sprayed into soil evenly. They are already feed so this way just to get everything started under the new mulch layer. Will spray bonide on plants to continue with any pest issues leftover.

Thanks for swinging by and checking out the grow so far! So this week we are switching to flowering and taking a flood cycle out of the feeding schedule. The hydro plants are catching up to the soil plants and the tent is really starting to fill out ! Me and my partner have been keeping up on the training and were very happy with the results. I think we achieved the canopy look we were shooting for, so time to flower !! Were still following the floral series feeding scheduled within reason. The soil plants still have a little burn on the tips but we were overfeeding them, newbie mistake, but were flushing them with fresh water to give them a break. We cant wait to see the what happened in the weeks to come. Waiting to see what kind of stretch we get from them. EDIT:: mid week. The plants still have a great growth rate and are noticeably different every day. We went ahead and pulled them out of the buckets and gave them a good trimming before they get through the net. LST is paying off, we have a bunch of top growth so hopefully we get the sea of green look were going for.

Week 6 Day 1 9/16/2023 Still on Vacation! Week 6 Day 2 9/17/2023 Back from Vacation.. The PH was down to 5.57 and the water was almost to the ring on the 3inch pipe in the Res.. Which is Low.. So Next trip I take, I will add the additional water and Nutes to as close to the net pot as I feel comfortable with. Added: 10 gallons of Water CALMag- .75mil/Gal GH FLoraMicro-4.2mil/Gal GH FlroaGro-4.0mil/Gal GH FLroaBloom-3.8Mil/Gal ORCA-.5mil/Gal I decided that I wanted to take clones tonight. I took 4 of each and I will cull 2 of each in a few weeks when they are ready, I am going to do a short breeding run with these, Reverse them and Flip them at about week 3 of Veg. I also gave them an extreme heavy defoliation tonight, and my New Portable AC unit showed up so I installed that. Week 6 Day 3 9/18/2023 letting her recover from the work we did together yesterday. Week 6 Day 4 9/19/2023 Took a few tops today as I start to stretch her out on her side of the tent. We have a few branches past our flip mark so we will Super Crop them down soon to ensure we get an even grow to the primary canopy before we Flip. Also want to give her sister a little more time to catch up. Week 6 Day 5 9/20/2023 Today I received my replacement parts for my Spider-Farmer light that had gone out. Replaced the parts and put the light back in the tent with the clones. Week 6 Day 6 9/21/2023 Today everything looked great!! Week 6 Day 7 9/22/2023 She is above the mark for flip. Tomorrow is Water change day, which means decision day.. I have to decide if I am going to Flip to flower and fill with Week 1 flower Nutes, or if I am going to let it go for another week and just start super cropping. Either way I will be super cropping soon but not sure if it will be through the first week of flower or just starting and growing through the first week of flower. The plant shall tell the tell tomorrow.

Day 21, These 3 are a pain in the 🍑 i know why they look like they do🤦‍♂️🏻 (K) but i just don't get it. I'm already pushing these 3 to EC 1.8 but they just keep hungry🤷 I'm gonna switch to Greenhouse powderfeeding for a little while to get them a higher dose of K. Hope this solves the issue. Day 18 Transplanted today the plants into their 11L pots.😊 While instead i will let the Lemon Tree grow for another 4/5 days in the same pot because she only got 13 days, so I prefer to have it strengthened a little before the transplant. Day 24 Mimosa, Meringue, and Kmintz were Topped, Defoliated and also applied a light LST to the main stems of the plants. I will do the same for the Lemon Tree in the next 2/3 days.. I hope they have a quick recovery 🤞🏻 Day 27 LST also performed on the side branches of all plants except the Kmintz which is too small to bend its branches. Also Today we got 21 days for the Lemon Tree which has a great shape! Carried out topping, LST and a little defoliation.. 🙌🏻 In the next few days I will let them grow them without further stress. She's developing a thick fat sticky main cola, very beautiful strain, short distance between nodes, compact very dense flowrs, and very strange smell to me, had never ever tried something so citric like this. It's a very orange sweet juice smell, very pleasant, I can't wait to dry and cure a little this flowers to be able to feel the ultimate flavor and power from this genetic, stay tuned guys!! ❤️💚💛

I still found a few places with bud rot and I keep removing every spot I see. The plants have been doing fine beside that, they are looking and smelling great, they are super dense and I can't wait for them to be ready. Most trichomes are still clear so I am awaiting for the first ambers to show up, aiming for around 5% amber and 95% milky.

I over done the fast plant spray this week I think a slight deformity on the leaves as you can see, but all good, "update" The deformity is on both of these strawberry plants, But has grown out of both this week,

Thursday this week has been good so far, I pulled each plant out yesterday and tidied everything up. I got rid of all the tiny lateral branches that didn’t make the cut and I got Rid of everything that was below about half way down the plant. Obviously the lateral branches that grew to the same height as the canopy are staying it’s just all the non starter stuff below. I annoyingly had my in take fan die on me. We’ll sort of, it just keeps tripping the fuse on my electric so I assume it’s from when I had my res flood onto the floor - I forgot it was there on the floor because it was hidden behind the res
