India_Calcoen 30-07-2025 I decided to test the mould resistancy of MilkyWay F1. RQS says this strain is mould resistent. I’m going to check that out! I was dissapointed by budrot in my White Widow auto (Zamnesia) and I was wondering if the problem is in the strain or the circumstances and soil in my garden? I’m growing my other autoflowers in a pot on my balcony right now. I can’t test my garden soil with them. If I start with this grow now, the harvest will be in a usually rainy period (mid October). One of the seeds is cracked. I wonder of that will be a problem. Thanks Zamnesia/RQS for the freebies! I’m using them for this experiment. 03-08-2025 The seeds germinated! Unfortunately one seedling popped out the roots first! I had to dig it out and put the root back in the soil. I hope she will grow fine. The other one looks fine.

India_Calcoen 11-08-2025 I’ve neglected my seedlings. I felt like 💩the last few days, had no energy to plant them somewhere in the garden. I decided not to do the mould-experiment and just add them to the potplants in pots on my balcony. Just taking the easy way. I hope they will start growing soon. I’m sorry for the lack of care, girls… 😞

India_Calcoen 20-08-2025 The tiny plants are still growing. Not really thriving, but still alive. I will start feeding them Alga Grow this week. Hopefully they will recover from my neglect.

India_Calcoen 27-08-2025 The two Milky Way’s are growing. I wonder of they will reach a normal size or if they will stay small. I left them on the windy balcony. I hope they will be fine during the next few windy and rainy days.

India_Calcoen 05-09-2025 Milky Way is growing. Not very fast, she still seems small. I saw some floweringhairs on the left one, but the other one doesn’t have them yet. I hope they will stretch a lot. They received a lot of rain the last few days. I’m glad the strong wind on the balcony did not rip their leaves off…

India_Calcoen 12-09-2025 I moved Milky Way F1 from the balcony to the garage. The weather forecast for next week is wind and rain. Better to keep these plants dry. I sprayed them with Cannacure. I hope they will grow a bit more. 28 centimetres isn’t much. They both started flowering last week.

India_Calcoen 19-09-2025 Milky Way F1 is residing in the garage, but I took them out today to enjoy the sun. I cut off some leaves with leafminers. They are doing fine, not spectaculair.

India_Calcoen 05-10-2025 Milky Way F1 has been growing for 63 days now. She doesn’t look really spectacular. The buds are still small. Something has happened to her leaves. I don’t know if its (false) mildew, thrips or sunburn because I sprayed the plant with Cannacure on a sunny day.

India_Calcoen I haven’t checked on Milky Way F1 for over a week because I went on a vacation. When I came back they were quite dry and I watered them with plain water. I expect them reaching maturity soon. I don’t have to be afraid for the rain because they are staying in the garage. They have been growing for 66 days now.

India_Calcoen 26-10-2025 MilkyWay F1 has been growing for 84 days now! There are no amber trichomes yet, only clear and milky. I wanted to give her more time, but I had to cut three buds with bud rot off today. I’m going to harvest her as soon as possible.

Happy Harvest Day!

Both MilkyWay F1 got neglected by me in the beginning and stood most of their lifetime in the garage behind a window. But I still got some nice buds to harvest! She is a tough lady! The plants looked really similar but they smelled differently. One plant had a much stronger smell than the other. Unfortunately they did got affected by mould in the end, and I had to cut a few buds. If I had her outside in the rain I think she would have been lost. I’m satisfied and would grow her again.

India_Calcoen 27-10-2025 Today I harvested my last two plants, MilkyWay F1. I harvested early because of bud rot. The trichomes were clear and milky, no amber. I cut the large fanleaves off and washed the plants. After that I hung them to dry with the others.

Oh, I know that feeling all too well, unfortunately, when the energy isn't flowing. But when you do manage to look at the bright side, it usually makes you feel at least a little better. I hope you continue to enjoy yourself and that they grow into beautiful plants and reward you with abundant blooms. 🍀 🌞

It will certainly stretch quite a bit further—at least that has been my experience with RQS's F1 hybrids so far.🍀🌞

Yes, that could be from CannCure+Sun. I only ever used it in the evening.

The arch enemy again -.- It's a shame about the flowers that had to be thrown away. Even though the trichomes aren't amber yet, it's not so bad because I find the F1 hybrids extremely potent and, when fully mature, they are very narcotic. At least that was the case with the Medusa and Apollo that I harvested in the summer. Incidentally, Apollo was very resistant to bud rot, and I will probably plant it again outdoors at the beginning of next year. Take a look at the early versions from SpliffSeeds if you like. They are photoperiodic but should be ready at the end of September. As always, it will probably take a little longer, but the beginning of October should normally be no problem. I will test them outdoors next year.

@Kushycat, thank you, good to know about their potency. I will be careful when I’m trying the MilkyWay. I’m glad your Apollo has done well. It’s always fun, making new plans for the next season! I’m looking forward to dry and sunny days already ☀️!

@India_Calcoen, As far as I'm concerned, autumn and winter can be canceled this time 😂
