as you guys can see our Mary is growing beautiful and it's already smelling really good we had a emergency but it was looking good despite not having been watered all weekend so we had a lot defoliation, we took of lots of leafs and more LST

Got a couple more days until day 56 (week 8) but just wanted to add a few things from this week. The flush is coming along nicely and getting some really nice colors to come out, Really excited for the finish. Just uploaded the day 56 pictures, shes looking beautiful!

10/12: Fed today. Increased Signal and sugars/carbohydrates...added humic acid. 10/16: Fed today. They both stacked up really well and will have some very nice colas.👌

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This is a lengthy diary but I hope that people can learn some stuff from my notes shall they read them! Thanks to everyone that followed the journey, showed support or just browsed through. Right now I'm flushing with my homemade substance, it pushes pretty much clean, planning to harvest next week. Before harvesting I will let these girls sleep for 48 hours, hoping that a purple color will appear. Currently night temperatures are around 19 to 15 degrees.

Some pretty good growth over the past week. Got them out of their cups and into buckets. Seeing as this is a pheno hunt, not planning to veg too long so should be able to train them up with no problem on space. They are happy and loving life so far. Tons of roots at the bottom of the net cup so shouldn’t have any issue going forward. Excited to see what is to come 🙌🏻

She’s doing really well! We did see some damage to a few fan leaves that I thought could be caterpillars…but a thorough inspection turned up nothing. Will continue to monitor closely… but zero caterpillars so far *knock on wood* while the plant next to her has had a lot. This week we continue with build a flower, and kelp it real in her water. Doubt we’ll see much vertical growth as she’s bulking up the buds.

What up grow fam. Week 3 up on these girls. At the moment they're a little upset with me. I went away for a few days so I over watered hoping they'd be alive when I return. They're still alive but sure upset and showing it. I did a defoliation taking the bigger fan leafs off to allow some more light to the lower branches. Also I don't usually put them under full power of my light until about week 5 but I did to see how they'd do and though they're stacking super tight, I think I probably did more harm then good. I'll baby them and see if they'll bounce back. All in all Happy Growing

Week 5 Flipped to Flower. Finally recovered from Light burn and spider mites. Closed up all my light leaks and added a little CO2 to the room. Will be adding more CO2 soon. Added Trellis Turned lights up to 75%

*** update, 7/23. Girls are very happy today. Another day with no afternoon sun. Thank goodness I hung a light above them or I would be dealing with some light starved ladies but as it is they are chugging right along. Another day that I won’t have to worry about watering them thanks to the Roots Organic Formula 707 soil, stuff is making me a believer. Really healthy plants on their way into flower by the next weeks update I’m sure. Strong well pronounced female organs I hope mean big buds later on down the line. The Harvey Wallbanger is coming on strong, now the second tallest. She still has not produced a fan leaf with more than five points on it, all 5’s or 3’s. The Vanilla Fizz I still think will enter flower first as the other two are still producing opposite nodes and are not staggered yet. The 91 Grapes stinks!! Not even in flower yet but stinks, very chemmy.

Everything seems fine but seems like things are starting to slow down so I decided to feed plain ph'd Water the last 2 feeds will be continuing with normal nutrients solution again I have 3x strawberry stardawg which all still have White pistols 2x critical jack which has 60% amber pistols 1x strawberry diesel 40% amber pistols and 1 somango all white will try post pictures soon p

I'm really not disappointed with the growth this week. All are doing well except the Royal Cheese but she is fighting against the damage. Keep Growing everyone! 👍
