7th of May Day 59 day 11 of 12/12 4 plants are looking healthy the stretch has started and and the canopy is starting to get a bit dense I may rom I’ve some large fan leaves on day 14 of 12/12 to give better airflow and allow for the lower growth to get more light, I can picture the colas already 😁🍁 ppm still going in at 650 ph 6.5, i top dressed each plant with fish blood and bone mean 3 table spoons to each 3gal pot on day 1 of flower

Fast Buds Wedding Glue Auto Day 25 from sprout Light: ViparSpectra XS2000 dialed in at 75% Watering top and bottom every other day to every 2 days Growing in Natures Living Soil Autoflower mix with happy frog. I will honestly say I am very pleased that this wedding glue is starting to take off! It did take it this long to build its root system but I am happy. I think it may take this girl another week to 2 weeks to enter pre flower. Because she is the "runt" of the 4 plants in my 4x4 I will probably give minimal training for this run. Moved everything over to the big room, installed 2 trellis nets to assist the smaller pots from falling over as the flowers develop. I set the lights on a lower umol setting to let the plants adjust to the new light, then gradually increased as they got used to it and flower progressed.

~ Day 71 Update ~ Hello everyone! Hola! I’m Meus and this is my 10th weekly update for “First Mainline Attempt!”. I’d like to welcome new & veteran growers, Thanks for taking the time to stop by :) ~ Progress ~ You know, I’m astounded by the level of growth in this past week, my mind is blown! 5" of growth compared to the avg of 1" for the past few weeks (9,8,7, etc), just wow 😱. The smell is pungent, dank, and slightly sweet. I can only dream of what these girls will skunk out, soon, very soon... I’d like to flower now but I have a few small issues. First: I wanted to stop at 8 toppings but I need clones of the others so everyone gets topped to keep an even canopy. Of course I’m not taking 8 clones each 😏, just 2-3 of each strain (5 strains, 6 plants; 2 phenotypes) to put in my 2nd tent till these girls (mainlined beasts) are harvested. This is ambitious though I’m optimistic that this will work out 🙏 Second: Related to the first issue I’m going to need a trellis net to support these girls with their 16 tops. Thing is, all my plant have varying flowering schedules (55 to 70+ days). I’ll need to make a net set up that I can cut out each plant individually as they’re ready to harvest. Third: MOLD! Though it’s not a lot I do have a bit of mold developing at the bottom of the fabric pots (which are known to mold). I’m going to switch to Superoots Air-Pot so I can avoid the mold. They’re $10+ a pop so I might have to wait till my next grow to afford the amount I need to make a full switch. Depending on how things go I’ll start flowering at week 13. Now concerning the mold I found a few ways to deal with my problem without harming or altering taste of these young ladies. This will be a tough 11 - 14 weeks, I’ll keep ya updated fam! ~ Individual progress notes ~ (will post full information soon, update delayed for personal reasons) [Purple Urkle #1] Height: 14" Tops: 8 Notes: 14 inches... That's quite a climb :) Though she's stretchy like her sister I'm excited, can't wait to see the development in the next few weeks of veg 😊 [Purple Urkle #2] Height: 13.2" Tops: 8 Notes: I'm surprised at the uniformity of these two sisters, I'm going to veg a bit longer and get me some clones just in case ;) [CBD Blueberry] Height: 9.8" Tops: 8 Notes: I thought this girl was a goner, definitely didn't respond to the mainline well like the others, wonder why? 😶 Still I'm impressed that my smallest plant is filling in, though she looks weird I still love her and her minions <3 [White Widow] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: Well... This was one of my smallest girls, she's by far the bushiest and most filled in. For an example look at her root mass, one word, insane! Roots are spreading everywhere, so aggressive and the trunk is huge, perfect for transporting all those nutes. Tanya here recovered from a split too, awesome :) [Mazar] Height: 13.8 Tops: 8 Notes: Taller but just as dense as the white widow, the Mazar has potential! A beautiful, healthy canopy, one of my best girls. It's a good feeling knowing that my hard work is paying off 😭 I'm afraid of topping this one because she is so dense that 16 tops will be off the hook, better make a plan soon 🙏 [Super Silver Haze] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: I’m starting to get impatient, I love this strain! Well, most strains developed by Arjan are great <3 I will need to feed soon with diluted nutes, she looks hungry a bit. Other than that she’s a healthy young lady that’s ready to flower :) ~ Final Thoughts ~ Where to start... I’m excited! Getting my clones are my top priority right now, then I'll focus on canopy support. I’ve come a long way from my first grow, even though I failed I learned a lot. Her leaves are big and lush which makes shading a real challenge. I’ll have to defoliate soon to keep her growing evenly. 🍶 20 June nutrient solution changed 🍽️ 20 June feeding schedule updated 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient solution EC 2.6 at 74 degrees F 🔆 Light power at 80%, DLI 40 canopy coverage at 12hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. ******************************************************************** START OF WEEK Went to the grow store and wound up with an AC Infinity EVO6. It should be a nice light for the future, and when my warranty replacement comes back, assuming that won't be an issue, it'll be nice to have a decent back-up. That's the bright side, but I am a little bummed about laying down the cash with ten to 14 days left. That part is the kick in the nutes. Fine, moving on. As for the grow, it's plowing forward. These plants are doing all the things we want them to do right now. They're getting fat, they're getting sticky, and the fade is fading away. Some branches may call for some last minute support, but for now the sucked-in tent walls will continue to suffice. The feed is still at 1100ppm and pk boosted, but the plan is to finish this week around 750. ******************************************************************** END OF WEEK Day 63 of flowering has arrived. I've backed off the nutrients. We're now sitting at 850ppm with about 6-8 gallons in the system remaining. This should equate to a Thursday refill with no feed, and then a Saturday or Sunday chop. VPD has been running a touch high this week, but that's not a concern. It's staying in the ideal range for most of the lights on period, and then trailing up in the last few hours to around 1.7-1.8. No biggie. The new light is really nice, but it runs hotter than the combo of the S22 and S44 (500W total), and that's with the EVO6 driver outside of the tent. This also isn't a big deal. The max tent temp is around 84, and before that wouldn't get past 82. Not a huge difference, and potentially better for the plants with the additional heat. I've got two CO2 mushroom bags in there, so more temp should mean more production at that level. I'm excited for this grow to finish and I'm looking forward to sampling the variety. I'm definitely using half, if not more, to make bubble hash. I'm probably just going to run it all together, as opposed to having runs for each pheno. I'll sample the tops independently, and smash rosin by pheno, but I'm not sold on isolating the hash. Seems like triple the work, but I've got a week to make further considerations, so we'll see. This will be my last grow until I sell this place and move into my next place. I'm going to miss growing. It's brought me a ton of peace by giving me something to anticipate, study, and take pride in. It's such an enjoyable hobby. I'll miss it in the time being, but I'm grateful that I won't need to step foot inside of a dispensary in 2024. Big win there! Everyone should grow their own.

Lit Marker is my new houseplant, and they're slowly but surely growing into a little ray of sunshine! I love watching the leaves unfurl, it's like witnessing a brand new life. I’ve heard that Lit Markers thrive with a little morning sun and some gentle misting on their leaves. I’m still learning about them, so wish me luck on this plant-tending journey!
