Day 29 Flower (Day 71) Woohoo! First day of week five of flower and an easy day at that. I just gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.2 water and took some pics. I'm still experimenting with bud photography. This time with a tripod but still no additional lights. I also need to take the pics when the lights are off as the flowers look funky under the LEDs. The right girl is slowly starting to bulk up, but the left girl is lagging. That is no wonder, though, considering that she has had much less light due to those space issues. Also, there's a huge quality difference between the lights in each tent. So I'm looking forward to comparing the bud quality that each tent will generate. Day 30 Flower (Day 72) It slipped my mind, but it's been over two weeks since I gave the girls nematodes to get rid of the gnats. As always, the nemos did their job quickly and effectively, and I haven't seen any gnats since. However, to ensure that they stayed gone, I did a second treatment today, mixed up 10 million nemos into 6 liters of water, and gave each girl half at pH 6.6. Day 31 Flower (Day 73) Chill day. I just gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water and cut some clones from her. She is deep in flower so I'll try to monster-crop her. Never tried that before but have heard that it creates some really bushy plants. As she already is bushy I'm curious to see how bushy a monster-cropped clone of her will be. She had a few low branches that I left during lollipopping for this reason and I cut four of them with a sterile razor blade, then scraped the lower part of the stem and dipped them in Clonex. They're now sitting in the window with a small LED spot to make sure that they have enough light to re-veg. Day 32 Flower (Day 74) I know that I got a new tent for my left girl only a few days ago, but I decided to upgrade to give her a bit more space. I went to my local grow store today and picked up a tent made by the same company as my main tent (UndrCovrLab). This new tent is also made specifically for my wardrobe, maximizing the available space. I went from a tiny 40x40 cm tent to a "massive" 75x45 cm tent. Still very small but almost 2x bigger. Woohoo! The left girl was squeezed into the 40x40 tent for so long that I had to use some LST to spread her out and increase light penetration now when she has some more breathing room. Speaking of lights, my small ViparSpectra is a bit underpowered now in this larger space, so now I have to consider upgrading that as well. The simplest solution would be to get another ViparSpectra, and while this little light has been performing well, it lacks UV diodes. I'll look around for options. We have gotten hit by a heatwave here, so now my tents are sweltering. The main tent reached 36 degrees C today at one point :/ Oh well, I cannot do much about it except hope that the heat doesn't stress out the girls too severely. The girls are very thirsty in this heat though, and I gave each 4.5 liters of pH 6.5 water. Day 33 Flower (Day 75) All I did today was to give the right girl 3 liters of pH 5.9 water. A bit low as I used too much pH down and then was too lazy to fix it. Day 34 Flower (Day 76) No idea what happened, but an army of fungus gnats invaded my right girl. It's only four days ago since I watered her with Nematodes against gnats, and there were no gnats at all then. A few days later, it is gnat central in my main tent (the left girl in the other tent has no gnats). It's almost like I didn't give nemos to the plant but instead gave her gnats. Weird as the nemos have always worked great in the past. Now I need to start fighting these annoying little shits. Sigh. I'll give nemos another go, and if they don't work, then I'll use some sand. Worst case scenario, I'll use Neem oil, but I really don't want to go that far. I gave each girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water, and that was it for today. Day 35 Flower (Day 77) The last day of the fifth week of flower and all is (pretty well) well in the tents. The left girl is 103 cm tall (6 cm increase in a week), and she is lagging quite a bit behind the right girl. She is healthy and quite sticky to the touch, but the flowers still have a lot of fattening up to do. I hope that will speed up now when she has a bit more room to spread out so the light can penetrate the canopy deeper. Getting a more powerful light would also help. When in doubt, add more photons! Someone who doesn't need more photons, though, is the right girl. The top bud has been burnt slightly, and there's light bleaching on a couple of colas as well as on a few fan leaves. I removed the driver from one of the lights and raised the light a bit higher. Every centimeter counts when you're running out of space! The right girl increased another 3 cm this week and is now 123 cm tall. I hope that is it as I'm now completely out of room. The gnat army in my main tent is still going strong. So strong that they have now sent out a small expeditionary force to my small tent and started to colonize the area. Sigh. I Will hit the girls in a day or two with nemos, but today I just put up some yellow sticky traps and gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water.

Day 86 12/05/2021- Week 5 of flower almost done hopefully by the end of the month. Went out on a trip and GoPro never turn on for the last two days bummer but will upload time lapse videos daily. Today the lady got nutrients as well. Day 89 12/08/2021- Today the lady got water, really hoping to see buds starting to fatten up. Day 91 12/10/2021- So today the lady got a special treat, freshly collected rain water. She is just doing her thing and making those buds. I have also finally put the spider farmer SF-2000 at 100%. Hi! Just harvest both plants, left them with all their leaves and whole main branch intact. Just removed the light panels and hanged them on the same tent. I’m using some cardboard to cover the recently watered soil, blumats are still running to support the life on the soil through the next amendment and new plants that will come shortly (after the drying period finishes, about 2 weeks for a slow drying process). That’s it :)

Our beauty is now 1 week old, and she’s already nearly 10 cm tall. Growing steadily, showing great potential. We’ve decided to experiment and switched the light schedule to 12/12 to see how she responds to these conditions. The daytime temperature is steady at 28°C, and nighttime at 21°C, with humidity maintained at 65%. At this stage, we’re starting to feed the plant with fertilizers from Xpert Nutrients to ensure it gets all the essential nutrients for active growth. A huge thank you to Xpert Nutrients for their quality products, helping our plants reach their full potential!

According to the trichomes the Blue cheese is already overdue for harvest but i wanted her to grow as big as i could ;) You can see the trichomes photos i know its a bad quality but im actually happy i maneged to take them pictures It was a pain in the arse to make them photos as bad as they are xD On Black Friday i ordered a better quality microscope with options of taking photos so in future harvests it will improve. I started the flush just yesterday and plan to dark her on the 5th of december (or so) As you can clearly see thanks to my great skill and experience in growing i managed to match the plants leaves with the colours of the actual golden grater ;P What a great achievement and view to beholde :D It was a joy to work with Mars Hydro and their equipment in this grow. A big thanks to the Mars Hydro team for this opportunity, you truly provide first class grow kits and lamps. It’s hard to notice the difference when you see it every day. However, when I look at the photos from the previous week, I think there is already a noticeable difference. This strain is very interesting. My first Crystal Meth was completely purple. This plant only has purple stripes on the stems. Let’s see how it will be in the future. It also depends on the temperature.

Amazing!. The big plant smells so good Drying day 6: they are still moist! A very good drying session is going on over here. The longer the better! Trimmed today after 10 days. Ended up with 80grams pure buds! Super nice chunky buds smells amazing and 8grams of sift from the leaves. I’ll filter the leaves again with my bubble bags

After another weekend spent away from home, on day 26 both Opiums present at 30 cm height, having grown big and bushy. Their thirst increased, I will water them when their next day starts. And do some more LST. Not too long until I can install the scrogging net. I am really impressed by their progress. They developed a lot of branching side branches and look really healthy and bushy. In contrast to what I wrote before, I think I can stay a few days longer with the current 80% 18/6 lighting scheme. Leaf positions do not show signs of light hunger, so no reason to change. Watered them with 1.5 l each on their 27th morning, this time adding some flower fertilisers too. Compensated their relief with some more LST. I can see in timelapse video they are tmelselves compensating this stress easily; it’s amazing to see how fast they turn their heads. You’ll see soon too. For reference: Pot diameter is approx. 25 cm. So lady #1 spreads about this much, lady #2 is even about 10 cm more. Guess they’ll make a very dense scrog surface, but first let’s have them have their stretch. Day 28 evening revealed ladies are getting thirstier. The holey pots might be helpful in root development, but they are not when it comes to keeping the tent clean. Because of their structure, water runs out in respectable quantities each time they are fed, which takes a long time to evaporate and adds to air humidity of course. Which on the other hand is currently quite ok. Outside air temperatures are around 30 °C the last days, so a bit more humidity helps to keep the VPD in range. Which is quite ok as I still cannot complain about their growth – around 2–3 cm each day currently. Grow video for day 28 (sorry about the interferences! Due to the control hard- & software being offline I cannot silence the blower(s) when a photo is taken anymore) shows steady growth and very vivid movements again. Dropping of their leaves around their evening is possibly due to me watering them again as soil was surprisingly dry already. On their day 29 evening, it’s clear to see how much they are stretching: They really gained 5 cm since yesterday! Lights are close to 30 cm, so I think I’ll reposition things a bit when their next week starts. Attached video shows the day’s progress. They say you cannot scrog an Automatic but seeing the development speed and bushiness I decided to give it a try nonetheless. I guess the buds can profit from being a bit more apart from each other if I handle to fiddle them through the holes in time. I rearranged the lights to be at about 45 cm apart from the tops and set the lights to 100% at a 16/8 lighting scheme, waking them up one hour later than before and sending them to sleep one hour earlier. Last day of this week, day 30, shows that growth speed has even increased. Lady 1 crosses the scrog net already which is positioned at 46 cm above soil. Gave them slightly enhanced water again, 2 l each.

Been busy so I’ve been slow to update. Thinking 3 weeks until I can chop. Gonna be a much smaller harvest than I’d like (thinking/hoping for at least 2-3 ounces) but from what I’ve seen just getting to your harvest on your first grow can be considered a success. Just gotta keep them alive for 3 weeks then I can focus on the scary task of drying. I would imagine small yield is due to beginner lighting equipment, shorter veg time (coulda gone like 3 more weeks to really pump up the roots which I’d imagine would equal bigger buds), mistakes I’ve made and uncorrected nutrient deficiency. Really hoping that they put on some more size in the final week when they ripen. I dialed back the nutrients by half for their last feeding. I think I mistook the normal senescence for nutrient burn and I got worried. EC last night when I made my nutrient mix was 1250 I think. Regardless the quality is there, just not yield. Reallly looking forward to when these are fully dried and cured to test them out. Lots of trichomes starting and the smell is great!

Buena semana para todos!! Esta planta también surgió de un esqueje que intercambié. Al momento de recibirlo tenia 1 mes de vida y lo pasé a una maceta "Air Pots" de 10L. Tuvo 40 días de vegetación en esta maceta, se le hizo podas apicales y Supercrooping para regular su altura. Al día de la fecha (29/5) lleva 17 días florando. Está hermosa. Calculo que en 3 semanas más estará para corte. Saludos y buenos humos.

Hi all! Back with more phone pics!! 😅 Made some changes beginning of the week. The corners where getting a bit too high so I lowered her by removing the grid underneath. This gave her an extra 15cm / 6inch of space. I fed her with some micro elements using Acti-Vera and she really liked it! She was missing some of those I think, now the leaves are pointing to the sun and she even regained some green color. I have to admit that this lady gets me quite exited!! 😃 Red here and there that a lot of growers have quitted before the end so I hope I'll be able to bring her to the finish line! Неделя прошла отлично, цветок крепкий, на подрезку реагирует очень хорошо. 4.8.23 После тренировок перед сном опрыснул цирконом 1 мл/0.5 л воды, ph 6, ppm 115 На следующий день с утра полил коктейлем Vega/Cannazym, похоже цветку понравилось🌿 Пока не разобрался с ph, не совсем понятно какое значение нужно получать для идеального раствора удобрений
