PAR/PPFD 240 (41% increase) DLI 14.5 (44% increase) Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients 2 mL of each Micro Grow Bloom Base Nutrients and 2 mL BotaniCare CalMag. 3 Gallon bucket filled with 2 gallons of RO water. No more notes for rest of the week. The TC600 is 260w from the wall. Not 600w.

This week I added 9 ml of nutrient per gal of water to prepare for switching to flowering. Grow 5 inches this week getting ready to start flowering. I lowered the light to eight inches which really had these plants growing faster and thicker.

Both ladies are getting fat and heavy 1 more week for the Gorila Cookies and harvest and 2-3 weeks for the Gorilla Glue and it will be time for drying curign and smkoing 🙂

At the start of week 9 The end of the feeding schedule for two out of the three ladies for "Cath" & "Lorna" 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water only, for the remaining amount of time ripening up. "Anna-Marie" is still on the normal feeding schedule as she's several weeks behind the other two so fed her 13mls of Bio Flores and 20 mls of Bio Boost diluted in 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. Chopped off a couple of LARFY branches to sample. I then gave them a quick couple of days speed dry in front of the fire 🔥 😅 Yes I know they need to cure but temptation be dammed, needs must lol 😆

This lady has picked up alot this week, going to maybe start trickling nutes next week and see how she takes off, happy growing and stay green ✌️ 💚 👌

Ok so getting a bit concerned. I'm trying to keep nutrients low, but am noticing spotting on some other leaves and some of the white pistils lower down are growing in brown instead of white. Spotting on at least one of the plants has gotten to the degree I've trimmed it a bit and the lower leaves look fine. Please let me know if you see an issue with any of the above pictures / advice. - Update: Ok looks like I have a bit of light burn and possibly some nutrient issues as well. Have been adding more cal mag. Trying to water a bit less than was as may not have been letting the coco dry out enough. And I have moved my LED lights as far up as is possible currently to try and see how it goes, not sure If I've mucked this up or will still get a decent harvest. Any thoughts and suggestions are welcome. Even split open a stem where I had to remove a leaf earlier and had a look inside just to be sure. There are lots of little circle type globs on the leaves, but I take it this is trichomes and not eggs.

This is the first day of week 4. I decided against any form or training or topping and decided to focus on watering and getting nutrients correct for this first grow. Being it’s a tent grow, I can essentially grow when I choose now anyway. Touching the plant leaves the soft but pleasant smell on your fingers that we all know and love. I’ve also drilled more holes in the bottom of the pot and do get some runoff when I water now. Considering switching to 12/12 in a weeks time.

Another good week of growth , started to tie these down , spread them out and shape them to let light in to the future bud arms , defoliated a few of the larger leaves that couldn’t be tucked out of the way , Looking phat as .

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. This week was all upgrades and preparing for a 2 week vacation where my gf would need to take care of the plants but that would end to almost killing all of them lol stay tuned.
