Hey EZ jay! 4 days ago you had a question about pollen I read! I’m no where near a pro breeder but I get into it! That being said, you can store pollen for years if it’s done properly! I use my girls old mini make up containers the round ones clean the fuck outta it though! And store it in a plastic tub! Keep your temperatures at 60-70 degrees and your good! Also if you like a certain strain chances are their are males in that strain that carry the same qualities! So my thoughts are if you like a certain profile keep the MALE pollen and Dust is what I call it another strain or different profile! Feel me? Also when breeding different strains look for similarities between the two different strains if that makes sense to you! The Alleles bind better together when the strains are similar looking! Fat leaf with fat leaf or similar looking to morphology and the genes don’t freak out when they combine! You can tell I’m not a scientist lol

@Hazemaster420, hey man I just saw this.. thanks for that in-depth info. I ended up getting some pollen from two males and have it saved in a similar container. I’ve been doing a bunch of reading on it in my Jorge Cervantes book.. super excited for a cross but I think I’m gonna wait - I just popped some ETHOS punch line reg seeds that should have a male - I’m gonna use one of those for a few crosses.

My baby died today. 😭😭😭. She fell out of the window sill and ripped out of the peat. I will be starting another germinating over the next 3 days.

@Pauls5716, Aww I’m sorry .. it’s probably too late but if it just had a single tap root you may have been able to save it and try replanting.. luckily you’re only a couple days in so you won’t be delayed too bad. Still sucks!

Hey I couldn’t reply in the grow question spot.. you replied to my question and I can answer it with yes I have had luck cloning before but it was in a different climate ( dry and arid) now I’m in a humid place but middle of winter and cloning has been harder .. I use to use a razor to do the cuts but trying out using a pair of sharp scizzors instead , only been 4 days or so since I took some cuttings so waiting stil , I used rooting powder ( pro mix) sterilized everything before each cut and prob need to see a pro do it a couple times haha

Hey Ezzjay, with the pollen thing, keep it simple you’ll know what male to use it’ll be a no brainer, it’s like it picks you or something very worldly with these plants! On a higher level they communicate with us! But yeah keep it simple, and pump out fire my friend! Thanks for the look!
