Overall, the Bling strain grew very weird initially, however, it did suffer some trauma and grew 3-point leaves for awhile. Resistance to PM was not good, but was able to keep it at bay until harvest time by daily spraying of Athena Mildew Control. I prefer to use this as I was using H2O2 and it burned leaves because of the pH change. My other harvested plant, Mimosa did not do as good from that spraying, but more on her in my other post. Getting back to Bling - I felt the buds thickened up nicely in the end, with hues of purple calyxes coming out as well as with some leaves. Smells wonderful and looking forward to smoking some after the cure. More to follow...

Still really enjoying this lady 😍 into the second week of flowering and I'm seeing the start of a large amount of bud sites, 6/7 of her 10 top budsites looking very promising, hopefully within 2 weeks we should see alot more pistals I can see this grow going over schedule by quite abit with the extensive training she has been put through to produce her 10 top budsites. Did some minor defoliation, and added final nutes before flush. Although stunted in veg, the outer two smaller plants are flowering well, thickening up, and smelling dank af... the center largest plant is still dealing with some type of deficiency that's been very difficult for me to diagnose. It's still chugging along with lots of bud spots, but the kolas aren't nearly as thick and seem like they might turn out larfy. It's also drinking the same amount of water much more slowly than the other two smaller plants... kinda strange right? Ps. I kinda f-ed up the compost tea and fed it to the plants before knowing it... I let the tea brew for 72 hours and should have stopped at 48 hours... plants didn't seem to mind too much though (I don't think the center plant's deficiencies have anything to do with the overripe tea.) and don't pay any mind to my nute percentages, I can't deal with that rn 😂

Last week before the chop, girl is looking pretty 😎 😳 last few days left and she is getting much more chunkier 🤤

Week F3: 11/04/2025 – 17/04/2025 12/04 & 14/04 – 2L nutes. Minor branch LST. 17/04 – Major defoliation. 2L nutes. Risk taken but plant strong. I was hesitant about this late defoliation, I should of gone harder prior to flowering, my mistake and easily avoidable with experience. All that in mind, there is ample room for airflow. Currently cool air is being brought in through the bottom of the tent, circulated via the internal fan, then pulled up and out through the exhaust fan system, air is then easily vent out of the external rom to manage humidity (also done by using an extractor fan - can you guess where it is yet?). I think the stretching is coming to a close, finally, almost ran out of headroom...

Now flowering in week 5. She's doing really well. Almost forgot she lost a main branch. She's almost filled the 60c60 tent. I hope she's done stretching because she's almost out of room. Really looking forward to tasting her.

Week 4 Topped plus applied some LST training Seems like Pheno 1 has better structure and growing alot faster Pheno 2 started to slow slight fade on the lower leaves But lets push her through!

Sticky and loud is all I can say! Hopefully whatever damage and burn I have doesn’t hurt my buds too much l! But otherwise they’re stacking up well! Couple more weeks to go!

Stretching like crazy; I’m surprised the Pineapple Express hasn’t shown any light burn with how close it has stretched to the light. It’s a few weeks ahead of the other two bag seeds. The flowering tent is as follows: Tallest plant back left corner is Pineapple Express. Bottom left corner is widow x; middle plants are both bag seeds. I still suspect the bottom mid to be berry white and the top mid to be purple trainwreck. The far right plant is purple trainwreck.

Still not given any food at 35 days since popping. She's growing well and I've put her in a 4ltr pot. I've pinched the top out to slow down the vertical growth.

Turns out the weather was perfect for drying. This is my first time bending the plant waay over instead of topping, so it was all new, turns out to not be a lot of difference except the shape is more rounded. I was a bit worried that it was not going to be a good return, I thought I might struggle to get six zips. eight seemed a bit optimistic but in the end she produced over 13.2 zips. I've just been extracting resin from the lowest quality of the box of larf I have and she is returning what I'd expect from my best buds, so yes, this is probably heavier than she looks because of the resin. Nice and light golden with a spicy delicate aroma. I'll be popping a seedsman amnesia next, but the one following that will be another Lemon Pie but she will be topped. However I can't see that I'm going to improve on 13.2, but you never know. Nevertheless I am very surprised at the yield.

By now I would have expected to have already collected. The plant continues to develop the flowers in an anomalous way, in fact they do not close, and they are growing 'in dots', along the 'tentacles' of the flower. I think the cause is light, mainly.

Day 159 - 11/11 : The calyxes are starting to swell, I can see the bud is looking more and more rounded Day 160 - 12/11 : She was given 6L of water with some trichoderma and a little molasses, there was 1.5L run off. Trichoderma will help keep the root healthy in case the issue is in fact soil related and a little molasses to keep all the microlife happy and add a little sugars for the plant. Day 164 - 16/11 : She is yellowing rapidly, drawing anything left in those big fan leaves. The buds are going through some pretty good swelling though. The trichomes still look mostly quite clear, but the buds look almost ready from the outside. It shouldn't be long until harvest. It seems as is she might finish a little earlier than the 9-10 weeks she normally goes through. Let's see. Day 165 - 17/11 : She was given 6L of water, there was around 2.5L run off and the run off measured 4.8 EC.
