again ... i never realized that this much effort went into starting baby girls ... much respect for the ladies. considering she almost died from a broken taproot she is doing really well. the roots are not showing at the bottom of the pot yet, but she seems to have adopted without showing signs of stress. i helped her move from the nursery into her new home. as everything is all-new - new baby, new home, new technology, (relatively) new grower - it seems i am behind trying to get to the front. hpa is fun, i think once everything settles in, it will be very easy to maintain and grow. i have the basic parts work - the high-pressure dosing, the nutrient distribution, the drainage, lighting figured out. i need to vent the tent more to reduce the little heat generated by the lights. i seem to have a few water leaks on at least one push connector on the high-pressure tank. then i think i need to clean up the wiring and nutrient lines. then for me - the real fun can begin. i already started building a computer for this garden - i really look forward to observing the hpa system from a data point of view to understand better how to maintain the best environment for the girl as well as increase operational efficiency.

This week we started to give her only water. Very few new pistils are showing and mostly cloudy trichomes. We are in the final stretch now - thinking 4 to 7 days.

Amazing plant, very high in thc and some very nice sweet and fruity terps, something like a banana punch strain. The buds are nice and hard and i got 2 outstanding phenotypes with extreme thc production, in general the terps are quite the same on all plants. These girls are very easy to grow and not much of expertise is needed, we just gave some greenhouse biogrow and biobloom together with some sugars and other addictives. In 7 liter pots we got around 35-40g per plant which is quite good. These plants showed good resistance to lollypop and other HST

Week four progressed well. She handles the LST like a champ and bounced back from the light defoliation that was necessary to reap the full benefits of her training. This is definitely a hardy strain. Not minding the 90F temps at all. Had to treat her with some light spinosad spray to do a bit of insect control. Won't be able to for much longer once she starts with budset. She smells already, a very deep and classic skunk scent and not a preflower to be seen. She's going to be a strong scented lady by week 8 or 9, I can tell already. Gave another dose of Fish Mix + Grow + Recharge for the week. She seems to love it. Not much else to report for now. My Strawberry Gorilla plant is coming along, though it's a bit more delicate than my Gorilla Cookies. It's still showing some nice growth under the lights, but it's definitely a bit more sensitive. I'm keeping a close eye on it, and I'm hopeful that it'll start to thrive soon. I'm starting to get a faint whiff of that sweet, fruity aroma, so I know there's potential there! This past week has been a whirlwind of work, leaving little time for anything else. My phone's camera roll is sadly neglected, with only a few snapshots to show for it. But finally, I'm finding a moment to catch up on my grow diaries. It's been exciting to see the progress, even if it's just through photos. I'm looking forward to documenting the next stage!
