2018-03-20 Week 12 Day 1 New week and not much to say. No water or nutes today, just the regular weekly check to see that they look nice and healthy. Raised the lamp about 10 cm to make sure that the girls don't get burned again. Power Plant XL nr1 is 55 cm Power Plant XL nr2 is 49 cm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Strain information Genetics for the famous Power Plant were captured by a group of Dutch growers on a trip to South Africa, back in the 90’s. They managed to breed a strain that was soon a popular choice in coffee shops of the Netherlands, most likely due to the soaring and intense Sativa high. Zambeza Seeds thought that the productiveness of Power Plant should never be forgotten and created an updated version, to bring the legend back to live. Power Plant XL yields up to 600-750g/m² in a flowering period of approximately 55 days! The efficiency and productiveness of Power Plant XL fears no comparison with many recently bred cannabis strains. Indoor heights of 80-110cm make this sativa-dominant variety relatively easy to grow, but outdoor growers need to be aware of the power that is being released under the sun. Outdoor plants can easily reach heights of 150-200cm, and yields of 500-600g per plant. The taste of Power Plant XL can be described as a delightful blend of sweet and sour flavours, with subtle hints of pine tree in the background. Nov 29: They seem to be accelerating in veg growth but I see a small portion of the leaf on the smaller plant either grew in mutated or somthing cut it, I haven’t seen a single bug in the box so I don’t think it’s that but you never know, and the bigger plant has some issues near the base of its stem, I noticed it before I did the LST and now I’m wondering if I should have addressed that issue before starting the LST. Let me know what you guys think! Dec 2: Walked into the room and noticed a faint smell, wasn’t any smell last night when I started the LST on the slower girl. Further inspection showed some white pistols on the bigger girl, I believe she is the culprit for the smell as the other seems about a week behind. They are both now LST‘d and leaf tucked. Dec 6: I have tied down some of the longer chutes on the bigger plant (will see in week 5 update) to create more airflow and light penetration as I didn’t even realize how bushy the stem and node sections had gotten. I have also cut the chutes coming off the first true leaf. I don’t think I will make any cuts to the smaller one as it’s already a slower growing pheno. Going on a trip starting the end of week secede to late week 8, so I have a automatic feeder coming from Amazon, and I will continue using it through flower to reduce open tent time.

Same as the others will update with better pictures tomorrow, but I wanted to keep up with these diaries and stay consistent. They're growing extremely well, not a single deficiency, or issue the entire grow, not a burnt tip, maybe 1 yellow leaf from old age haha. This has been really stable and it is stretching like a mf already in the first week of flower! For half the veg time that Super Fried Applez got, it's been holding its own! She's reaching up, I believe I topped 2 times so not as many heads as SFA is going to have. But I'm so excited to smell the Terps that come off these beauties.

11/12/2020 She getting funky (good) smells under flourecent light. One more week, then back to LED under11-14 to finish her off. 11/14/2020 Did a little defoliating and my fingers smelled of Skittles candy combined with earthy minty-ness gonna be interesting I think. Also switching to LED tent early, I want her under full spectrum for last couple of weeks as she puts on some weight. I'm hopeful she will finish under 70 days but not harvesting till she is done! 80/20 cloudy/amber😎

Gelato got good yield about 30 g per plant Got some problems with mold on gelato Because the form of the buds , could not handle it Some colas are over 30 cm Don’t like the creamy taste ( banana was better) It’s definitely day stuff Density 7 out of 10 fluffy0

2/13: Stem still seems stretched from the shell being stuck on the leaves. 2/16: Decent heat stress observed an afternoon. Temperature was 80° and the light has been at 100%. Move the light to 26 in and open more events in the tent and window in the room to let in cold air overnight. Time to temperature got down to 62°. 2/18: Heat stress is improving. Keeping her well watered.
