Esto ya va cogiendo forma. Un aroma muy agradable choca en mi cara cada vez que abro el armario. Está empezando a resinar muy bien, aunque tengo la sensación de que aún puedo mejorar mucho en esta parte de la floración. El clima lo he tenido controlado sin complicaciones. Estos últimos días he tenido que activar el deshumidificador porque había mucha humedad fuera. Espero la próxima semana vaya engordando esas flores. A seguir cuidándolas cómo se merecen 💪

Todo sigue su curso. Las niñas han recibido su primera comida con una EC de 1, parece que les han gustado. Esta tercera vez es la vez que menos me han estirado en la primera semana de floración, seguramente estiren más en la siguiente. La estructura me gusta, se ven fuertes. La temperatura está siendo más alta desde que cambié la lámpara, está al ser el doble de potente, también da más calor, cuando haga más frío me vendrá bien. Aún la tengo configurada al 80% que equivale a 176w, a partir de la tercera la pondré a tope de potencia. La semana que viene seguramente de su primera comida de floración y a ver cómo siguen evolucionando 💪

A hub of activity in the Fastbuds closet. All lower branches tied down, defoliation. Hit them with Shogun Geisha foliar a few days ago, and an application of Athena Stack ( Foliar) a day later. As far as I can see, they are thriving. Got another two (orange sherbet/gorilla cookies) which are 3-4 weeks younger. Germinated in soil, a first for me. Leaving the gorilla to do its thing, maybe defoliation/lollipop. The Sherbet is being put through a true mainline. The Shogun line is surprising me, I’m used to dry amendments/organics but it’s been so easy to follow their feed chart calculator on the website. Signs of pre flower showing on all of them , I’m expecting the stretch soon.

First week of the flowering phase and things are already looking promising. Pistils appearing already as you can see in the photos, and all 5 plants stretching out nicely. I’ve now defoliated all of the fan leaves that were on the main stem, they were huge and had done their job of providing energy to the side branches and were now probably just taking up too much water and nutrients and were too low to absorb much light. So now all growth is concentrated on the side branches, all of which are nice and uniform and giving several tops on each plant. I’ve moved the light to 18inches/45cm away from the tops for the flowering phase. Temperatures have been a lot more ideal this week. Applied the BioBloom powder as a top dressing, using the lower dose of 3g per litre of substrate, so 36g top dressed onto each pot. Love how easy these nutrients are to use. Very simple to weigh and top dress rather than mixing up liquid nutes into water every time. Much less effort and much less time consuming. And the plants look the some of healthiest I’ve ever grown. No sign of any deficiencies so far!

Method 📊📊📊 She trained incredibly well and recovered faster from topping than the NL did to a fim. This grow was a slightly different take on a traditional manifold leaving the top growth tips from each 2nd node (first topping) in place. This gave us 10 main colas as opposed to eight and we also left in a few extra shoots which proved to yield just that little bit extra.😉. If we had the space we would’ve stuck with 8 monster colas. Instead, we tried to squeeze usable bud out of every square inch. Maintenance was a bit of a bitch - had to defo numerous times to keep the light penetration optimal. Which brings us to the grow light - I won’t say it was ineffective cause that’s just not true. But, if this one had gotten much bigger we’d have seen some serious diminishing returns in bud quality. The tops and middles of each 10-12” cola were dense and chunky but the lower buds on the outer branches were like giant fluffy larf pillows. Thankfully there weren’t too many of these and I might’ve been able to solve this issue with some yo-yo’s if I wasn’t so damn lazy and “😜” when work’n on the garden. So, grow light review now that we’re through a few cycles - vipar spectra gets a 6/10 from me. It will grow solid, quality bud but certainly has its limitations. Their manual says it’s 450w should cover a space roughly twice the size of mine. I disagree and actual wattage draw is more like 200w. I’m gonna try to stick to photoperiod SCROGs with it in the future. Only real way to max out it’s effectiveness. Big plus - it’s about perfect for this particular space: 1:. Medium 🎛️🎛️🎛️🎛️ Coco is now the go-to medium in lieu of soil when we grow indoors. I can’t specifically say that the growth time is sped up compared to soil because I’m always growing something different but - she did recover very quickly from her toppings and the drainage is wayyyyy better. The fact that it’s nute neutral allows us to dictate exactly what the plant receives at all times. IMO - more manageable and precise than soil. Include a regular diet of calmag and ur good to grow.: 1: Yield🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴 Oh man what a gong show😎. The book on this one says that you’ll end up having to add support for her as bud weight becomes a serious issue in late flower. RQS is absolutely right, I had three smaller colas on the perimeter stretch for the last corner of light and they just got weighed down by the bud and pretty much fell over😂. We like this. Now the numbers - i did the math twice (and while sober just to make sure😉), you don’t wanna do it, it sucked, so you’ll just have to trust me: 1:. Total dried yield for the kush alone: 3.32oz. This crushes the single plant yield for any strain grown in this cabinet to date by well over an 1oz. : 1:😎. Total harvest yield across both plants: 4.99oz. This also crushes the record yield per cycle in the cabinet by a full ounce!: 1:😎👌💪🤩. The stats say an avg. of 500-550g/m2. Based on the rough size of my cabinet the avg. should be 131.25g/0.25m2.... our actual harvest across both strains - 140.6/0.28m2. That’s pretty damn good and spot on with the specs: 1:.😎 Props👊👊👊👊👊 A great many thanks to everyone who stopped in and cared to take some interest in this cycle. 4th day in flower here, plants have doubled in size since a week or so ago. Once again very nice healthy colour to the girls really impressed so far, not a hint of stress shown from the plants at all, very hungry the soil is becoming dry everyday they just take everything I give them.

Day 77, Harvested 3 Plants of 5 in total today as I thought they look perfect,will leave the Other two ones for some more days. I'm curious for the dry weight tbh. the drying Location has 51% RH and 22C° after 5-12 Days of drying I'll start Curing them in Glasses, I'll tell you about the smoke then!! It has developed so far and is now slowly starting to develop its flowers :-). As soon as the first forms of buds can be seen (I think in 5-10 days) 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Bloom per liter of substrate are added. In the third week, 1 g per liter of substrate is added so that it lasts through to the end :-). This week it was poured 3 times with 1 liter each 👍. The entire tent was also cleaned and the electronics checked for functionality. The humidifier was refilled every day and fresh osmosis water was drained into the tank for the coming week ☺️. The plants have all been checked for health and pests 👍. Next week the bamboo sticks are inserted towards the end for support and the lowest shoots are removed so that at the end the energy is not wasted in the lower area 👍.
