Harvest Week. I hope all my North American friends had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving. I harvested on Tuesday, so due to Thanksgiving prep. I'm late posting the harvest report. Apollo is a wonderful plant to grow. She stayed short. I tried to lst by tying down. Apollo limbs pushed up the pins many times. She is strong and resilient. After watering only 2 liters with Vit B, Recharge and Signal yesterday, I put her in the 3#x3tent in the dark. The leaves were showing the fade using up the nutrients. 11/21 is day Apollo's 71 day and 43 in flower. The harvest window per RQS is 70-75 days from seed. Apollo's buds are thick, dense, stinky citrus floral and sticky. As she hangs to dry, she is pungent and stinky. I am so proud of this grow. I didn't overfeed so I have experienced the color fade to yellow as foods are used up and the delicate colors emerge in the sugar leaves. I am very impressed with Royal Queen Seeds F1 genetics. So much so I bought Milky Way F1 and Medusa F1. I will definitely have another Apollo grow in January. Thank you @James at RQS. After hanging to dry 13 days and a little bit more trim, Smokable bud 128 g or 4,5 oz. Wow this is my best harvest and grow ever. I put her in the jars to cure. Apollo F1 had a huge base stem and was multi branching-even the side stems had side stems. The stems were sturdy. No support is needed for her branches She stayed short at 26 inches tall. I definitely pushed her on the watering. When I saw no runoff after 2.5 liters of water, I upped to 3 ltr. Then 3.5, then 1 gallon. I watered 2 liters, let the water absorb, then slowly add another 2 liters. There was a small amount of run off at the time of watering but was all gone by the next day. It could have been evaporation, but I really think it was consumption. Consumption is an indicator of yield. As densely bushy as she is, I'm estimating at least 90 grams. So for future grows, especially for very bushy plants, I will defoliate at least 2x during early and midflower to open up the canopy and let the plants bulk up more. She did show some nutrient (cal-mag) deficiency and for the next Apollo grow, I will push the feed a bit. I'm excited and a bit sad to see this grow come to an end at the same time. Day 27 flowering : Wow this girl want a title. She is about to go i to her 4th week tomorrow and her bud size is huge compared to the other strains. Her stacking is rapidly increasing and her while stem on a few mains is joined up. She is smelling of orange now and is very sticky to touch. Love this lady and her abilities. humidity has been a bit high due to weather pattern in uk at minute but with lots of air getting around it should be ok for mould resistant conditions. All in all a great week for the Orange girl.

21 st day of 12/12. Defoliation. Try smaller containers or longer veg. Plants should be able to drink at least its pots water holding capacity once a day. Will try 5 liters of medium. Somę of them drinking more than 2 liters a day. Much better to overage and remove branches than not enough root mass.

Did a quick banana tea and they really loved it. Will do again soon

Weeks been chill, plants are not drinking as much as I thought they would be. Still annoying to water them separately with PH'd shit, some days I just give them tap and say fuck it. Can't say they are doing the best they could be doing. Been to busy with other things to give them the full attention they need for a first time liquid feed grow. Really should have done this indoors but I hate running a tent in the summer when the sun and heat are free. Granted the tomatoes are blocking some of their sun, have to move them aorund. been meaning to do that but no where to put them where they won't block out some other plants. Been having some fun making the little videos each week, been using open shot video editor to mash it all together and it works quite nice. Few crashes here and there as this laptop is garbage. It has so many features that I am not fully utilizing like cuts and effects but I've kept it stupid simple. Bugger one of the videos did not upload into the diary. Annoying AF these things take forever to "resize/convert" I like how the dead Blue Cindy plant looks like a biophage, sifi like alien thing.

Not much happen during this week. Plants look healthy and on a good track. They drink roughly 2l a day

Beginning of week.. I almost started the flush this week.. But no, they need AT LEAST one more week of like a half dose of feedings.. then, I'll begin the flush. But they are both so beautiful! Lol.. So many purples in the ETHOS Cookies.. And the smell.. I can't get over the way she smells! So intense! Gonna be a great smoke for sure! Just don't want to harvest too early.. I did that with the Early Lemon Berry from ETHOS and it got me high.. But it was a very paranoid high.. Like VERY very paranoid hahaha.. I didn't like it.. But it tasted GREAT! But yeah, I harvested a little too early.. Not enough amber trichomes. And with these girls.. I feel comfortable flushing for 3 weeks if needed.. So this week I'm just gonna give them both a half dose (or so) of nutes but keep the sweetener at full power! Lol anyways.. Just (tRyInG tO) keeping these girls happy till the flush! The Mandarin Cookies leaves are beginning to look pretty pathetic.. They fall off pretty easily.. And look like complete shit in most spots.. Just can't wait to get these girls ready to smoke!!! They are getting STACKED! 💪💪💪 Mid week.. Still giving both plants: water, 1/2 feed, water, 1/2 feed, water, etc.. Mandarin Cookies gets watered/fed everyday (mornings) and the ETHOS Cookies gets watered/fed (afternoons usually). They are both looking like they should finish pretty close together. Trichomes are eVeRyWhErE! Seeing quite a few milky/cloudy.. Still quite a few clear tho too.. And almost no amber trichomes.. A couple here and there.. But not enough to even say amber are even forming really. Lol.. So pointless to even bring up.. Not till I see a gang of them.. Or at least a couple on one calyx to say there are some amber lol.. Just my 2 pesos, I guess.. Yet I suck at timing the harvest just right lol.. Still trying to find MY sweet spot.. Meh.. Anyways.. Just look at those pictures!!! Gorgeous colas! Good fucking job on these genetics ETHOS.. Good.. Fucking.. Job... End of week... Wow.. Just.... Wow... These ladies are looking awesome. This next week will be week 9 from 12/12.. Most of the pistils have turned.. Not all.. But more than 50% for sure. They are both looking about the same when it comes to pistils and trichomes.. Just BARELY starting to see some amber coming thru.. Still some clear.. But the next 2 weeks of flushing should give them enough time for the clear to mature a bit and should see more amber by then.. Hopefully not too many.. But I will harvest at the end of this week if they seem to mature too quick for another week.. 1 week of flushing in coco should be plenty.. I just like to overdose these ladies on water at the end.. It really does make a difference in my opinion.. I've even flushed a plant for like 4 or 5 weeks and yeah she looked like shit.. But only the leaves looked shitty.. The buds were still gorgeous as ever and VERY flavorful!.. Anyways.. This is about THIS grow.. These ladies are still loving life.. I have been slowly weaning them into the flush.. Not flushing them completely all at once.. But over a longer period of time so they can still get some nutes in.. But I am happy.. They are happy.. Tomorrow I will begin FloraKleen for both girls... And even run it thru the medium 2 days in a row.. Just to really get EVERYTHING out of the medium.. Then just water as I have been till harvest! Home stretch!!!!... On to the next week!...
