Hello Diary. The first week of flowering is behind us. The Green Gelato Automatic has reached 41 cm, and is now twice lower than its Hulkberry roommates. Due to the height of the Hulkberries, I had to attach the lights to the very top of the box, the height of the box is 178 cm and to maintain a distance of 35 cm from the plants, I had to do so. 😟 Unfortunately, now the Green Gelato is 50cm away from the light, although I picked up the whole pot, the distance is still too far than it should be. Earlier in the week, I changed the light regime to 20/4, four hours of sleep from the start of flowering. I started giving BioBizz full range for the first week of flowering. She started drinking more water, so I watered more this week than before. Compared to Hulkberry roommates, Gelato grows much lower with much denser branches and more leaves. He did not lengthen in height like them. I started adding Cal-Mag, preventively, since I had a shortage of Cal-Mag with Somango and Royal Haze before. The temperature is higher than I want, around 27-28 degrees, but it’s summer, it could be a lot worse. That’s the advantage of Led lights, and the Migro was a great choice. Humidity in the air is about 50-55%, which is currently good.😀 The tips of the upper leaves are intensely yellow, I sincerely hope it’s a little stress due to the heat, or is it something else, we’ll see. Otherwise the plant look satisfied, there are no major signs that it is missing anything. The only watering is difficult due to the density of the branches and the light does not reach the lowest flowers, but I plan a small defoliation next week. 10/07/2020 - Day 22. I changed the light regime to twenty hours of light and four hours of sleep. It was also watering day. She got the full range of BioBizz for the first week of flowering. I prepare 9 liters of water each time in which I put BioBizz, p.H. I regulate with Plagron’s, Lemon Kick and as of this week I’ve started adding Cal Mag preventively. With that amount of water, I water all three plants evenly. 12/07/2020 - Day 24. Watering. The procedure is the same as the previous times. This time I also filmed the way I do it. 15/07/2020 - Day 27. Watering. Same 9 liters as before, with full BioBizz and preventive Cal-Mag. 16/07/2020 - Day 28. Photography and filming. To begin the week I gave the plants a lite-defoliation under their skirts, to be specific, I pruned all the bottom fan leaves, and, I did more pruning, removing fan blades covering bud sites. I gave each plant a nutrient-watering, and also a separate ph watering once this week. I'm seeing good leaf growth, and lots of Calyx and Pistols forming on the tops and between nodes that seem to pop up everywhere on the plants. And so far, plant health wise...nothing alarming to be seen yet.

Wow she over doubled in height this week growing 20cm! But take a look at the video I took. She has 3x stalks!!!!!!!! One stalk has split, then split again! I have not topped/fimmed this at all. No training. Possibly the stress she suffered in her second week has triggered this? Not sure but she looks healthy enough so far! Also just entering flowering I think.

A good week for the pink lady, no issues, the heatwaves have subsided a bit and there is a cold front that moved in. The RH has been steady, between 50-55%. I have decreased the nutrients further to just a bit of micro and cal mag. I have begun my process of “flushing” where I increase the water volume to allow for a 10-15% runoff. I find that this does not strip or shock the plant of nutrients it is still needing to fatten up. I do this for the last 4-5 feeds ending with straight phd water.

The weak plant is a disaster but learning making the masters, right. The healthy plant is fantastic, smell well and flowers are growing.

She flowered very fast. The smaller ones smell different and have more shiny flowers very nice, it smelled very strong at the end, while trimming the buds a smell of fruit and gas spread trough the whole house

Day 79 - Added 7 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 7 mL of each additive. PPM is 706. Day 81- Using noticeably less water now. Checked PPM 475. In moving the plant to water, a small branch broke. Trichomes are mostly clear. Started to dry it as a tester for rest of the plant. It takes 7 days for me to dry the tester at 70F and 40RH. Not ideal temp but that is how it goes. Day 82 - Might have seen first amber trichs Day 83 - Added 10 mL of Overdrive. PPM is 430. Trichs are mostly cloudy. Hairs are 80% orange. Branches are leaning from the weight. Day 86 - Added 5 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 5 mL of each additive. PPM is 588.

Week 6 Veg - January 16/21 to 22/21 ***** Week 7 will be their last week being able to take them out of the tent😟 SCROG netting going in on the weekend ahead. Not really a lot to report this week as the girls are doing well and I am just wanting their side branches to grow longer to help filling in the canopy anyway. Performed more LST this week and bending over the branches daily. Didn’t do any HST this week, will once the net is in and I have a better visual of how the branches need to bend. They have come a long ways over the last 2 weeks when you look back at pictures. They have filled out with more side branching and other than battling a little purple striping on the main stems they seem pretty happy. Leaf colour is good and should be in good shape for the flip soon. Will go through all of week 8 before flipping so hopefully week 9 will be transition week and week 10 the start of flower.......have to get through next week first though😀👍 Switching over to tap water again. I have been struggling with calcium and magnesium deficiencies on all grows for the last year. I can’t seem to get the right amount added back to the RO water I use in all feedings. So running with straight water again now. Ppm coming out is 325 so I will work with that. Going to explore my own RO system in the house rather than bottled water, a system that adds back calcium, magnesium, and iron. It’s been flowing okay for the first week and will continue on for now. Using RO water I have been feeding full strength on the nutrients and have been working on backing them down a bit to compensate for the starting point of 325 now. They have continued to be fed once a week roughly and supplemented with calmag and microbes. Little more detail....... Jan 16/21, Day 36 Veg - 3L each of full line at full strength in RO water - 1150ppm and 5.8pH given to the girls - didn’t add any other nutes other than IPP line. Jan 17/21, Day 37 Veg - dry out day - pulled down all the girls again tonight to train them outwards. - Jan 18/21, Day 38 Veg - 3L for each girl today with tap water and CalMag @ 1ml, Microbes @ 2ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1.5ml - 700ppm and 5.7pH is what that works out to. - have to use a considerable amount of pH down to adjust the tap water, over 6ml in 16L Jan 19/21, Day 39 Veg - measured the girls today, GSCHB Is 12” tall. They were topped already😀 - dry out day for the girls. - Jan 20/21, Day 40 Veg - 2.5L each with plain tap water - 295ppm and 5.8pH. - all the girls are looking big and bushy today.......they are ready for flip soon. Jan 21/21, Day 41 Veg - dry out day for the girls. Jan 22/21, Day 42 Veg - pulled all the girls down again......repeating the same LST each day manually rather than tying down for now. - this should be water day but leaving for today as I am going to lolipop the lower branches and a heavier leaf stripping tomorrow. - will feed tomorrow as they will benefit more. Very solid week ETS......the girls are taking off and expect to see lots of leaves popping out over the next couple of weeks😀👍 Work on the side branching to come up higher closer to the tops next week.......continue tap water and give a feed with Epsom Salts new week

this time we got a different phenotype, the whole plant has started to turn purple, not just sporadically like in the last ztrawberriez grow. It looks beautiful and will be harvested soon

Doggo update Couple vids sprinkled in here. Love doing slo-mo with frisbee throws and treats catching in their mouth. Slo Mo vids didn’t upload slo mo so I had to go thru and edit them and screen record it just to get them in slow mo on the site but they’re worth it Dukes ear has been bugging him and so he pins it down sometimes with the other ear straight up and he looks goofy as hell.

So wer at day 87 and going strong, banana peel water as feed. I think I'm going to give it one more week before harvest. Definitely a 100 day seed. Smells amazing. So can not wait.

This is my second week of 1/4 strength nutes(ff schedule)plants are loving it. Do you think I’m safe to go 2 times weekly?

Day 57 - Starting week 9 and she’s looking great. Not a very tall plant but very compact and tight buds forming. Gave her a feeding of foxfarm’s trio today. Day 58 - Nothing to really update on this beauty today. She’s doing well and showing no real ill effects to the feeding yesterday. Letting her dry out a bit before watering her again. Normal watering is about every 2-3 days so possibly tomorrow or Monday. Day 59 - Nothing new today, just checked to see if she needed some water and wanted some updated pictures. Looks like another day or two before watering. Day 60 - Day 60 and she’s smelling amazing. Seeing some of the pistils starting to shrivel up but still think she’s got a couple weeks left. Gave her a full gall on water today, she was pretty dry. Will probably give her one more feeding of nutes this weekend and will start flushing with foxfarm’s sledgehammer. Day 61 - Since she doesn’t have too much time left before chopping, I did a fairly heavy defoliation to try and get her to pack some more weight on. Still thinking she’s got 2-3 weeks left, I’d like to let her go until she’s maybe 60% amber. I really enjoy the couch lock in the evenings and helps with my back. Day 62 - Looks great and still fattening up. Looking at her now, I’m not sure how long she’s got. Still thinking about 2 weeks but looking at the trichs she’s got some time, mostly clear with some cloudy. Will be giving her some water tomorrow. Day 63 - Today is the end of week 9 and looks good. Still slightly wet soil so gonna hold of until tomorrow or Saturday and give her the last feeding of nutes before harvesting. She will get nothing but water and then foxfarm’s sledgehammer until she’s done.

pistils on this one start to turn Amber here and there in the buds are incredibly dense and Indica like fantastic very strong smell easy to grow no problem . Thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow.

The veg cycle was shorter than i usually like to have a plant go through, due to time restrictions for the Bubba Cheesecake Diary grow-off, but it still did fantastic in my mind! Three months in veg under high-octane light and 11 1/2 weeks in flower have let this plant turn into a dreadlocked group of nugs. Three main colas, but lots of burnable flower to enjoy once the dry is finished. I did a light LST with a decent amount of defoliation throughout the plant's life. I like to open up the middle area of the plant and let as much light as possible hit as many branch and potential flower nodes as possible. This way, i don't need to lollipop as many branches and as much foliage as i would if i didn't do this. Plus, the candelabra look is b-e-a-Utiful, in my opinion. Light intensity through veg ranged from 40% as a fresh seedling to around 55% the week before i put it into the bloom room. Once it was in the bloom room, the intensity was set at 50% for the first couple weeks to allow for a decent stretch. After that, i think i recorded the light intensity in my diary notes for each week. But, just in case i didn't, I bumped up the intensity by a few percent every 3 days until i hit 100%. Once i got to MAXIMUM POWER, i left it there until harvest. Water was natural well water that tests out at 7 pH. I always added BuildABloom to the water, never the soil, when i used it. Same with Dr. Earth's 1-2-1 tea concentrate. Other than those instances, it was just straight water that i was giving to the plant. Grow rooms are both about 4'x8'.
