Plants are taking off but started showing signs of stress not for sure what the issue it is but since I’ve noticed I moved the light up and have only been giving clean water phed to around 6.5 I’m watching new growth to seen if the stress has lightened up

Auto Magnum grew really well. 1 seed 1 plant is how it should be. Excellent germination, and pretty fast grow time for a sativa dominate hybrid. Strong spicy, citrus, sweet smell. Really frosty as well 24 hours hang dry time then into the cannatrol. Week 5 and the lady is in full pre-flower. One more week of veg and LST. I’m upping her food hoping she makes a big jump this week. I can see a little purple staring in the center of the bud 😍

So i had to take all my plants inside because i found bud rot on 2 of them & the weather wasn’t going to get any better, had to transform my bedroom into a grow room😂 & i have 2 more plants which i am going to finish next to a window.. The smaller plant to the right is a Northern light by zamnesiaseeds that has a seperate diary if you are interested! I really hope the bud rot doesn’t spread anymore & if anyone has any tips or tricks for that they are always welcome!

11/26/23 - Day 19 - Today was water change day. By time I got around to looking at the plant I realized that a water change had already taken place. How amazing is that. I had to do nothing. I just wake up everyday to a plant much bigger than the day before. Its too easy! 11/28/23 - Day 21 - Today she is much bushier. It seems like shes is growing a whole leaf node out every 24 hrs. Really impressed with the color and size of this thing. I'm learning to expect great things from this Leaf growing experience. 11/30/23 - Day 23 - She keeps geeting bushier, maybe she has grown by about 2" since the start of the water change. Her color is the same all over, that dark but vibrant green. Because this is my first time growing an Auto in this box I'm wondering when I should top her. The branches are so close together. The last strain I grew had tons of room. This thing is growing like a bush. 12/1/23 - Day 24 - I did the first topping today. I took a video but its not uploading. Ill need to move it from my phone and upload from the computer.

Day 29 - Things going along nicely .... i trimmed down some of the bigger bottom leaves, i didn't have enough soil to fill the pots, and the plants are short, bushy, weird little things, that filled out the inside of the pots..... they are only 15cm tall, but the leaves are 10+ cm .... really weird little plants.... haha.... i decided to trim the fk out of one of the ones in the double pot, and practiced topping on her.... i'll cut her down maybe trimmer her of the pot, and focus on just the 2........ they seem to be still growing upwards, so i'm not in a hurry to put em into flower mode......... on the main one i noticed some neut deficiencies ... so i upped the neuts.... should be ok, i put a good heavy neut and it stopped the spots etc..... i think some bug or something got in the double pot and is livin in there, but he doesn't eat much, haha....... the main stalks are as big as my thumb and under each canopy is all the branches..... it's really strange, to go in under all the growth and see it all .... they look kinda small, but the entire under canopy of leaves is all full .... i'm moving the huge sized leaves out and pulling each branch up over them as they grow..... this is 21 THC and 19 CBD, so it's all the good stuff for medicine ... the smell is getting abit noticable and i'm hoping the exhaust fan arrives from china soon.... just got positive ventilation into a carbon fil. ... and daily air out........ i think i had the led lights too low..... so i'll raise em abit more and see if i can get em to stretch .... Day 30 -- added some video's...... daylight vids... worth watchin for a laugh ...... first grow, so idk what i'm doin, ... any help/comments appreciated Day 32 -- added some pics of the late night trim and LST,... idk looks ok.... Started putting on all of its weight in last 2 weeks. Dense triangular shaped buds. At Least 1-2 more weeks I think. I did a final light defoliation to expose the buds that weren't getting much light. Try to fatten up what I can before chopping. Happy with how it's come so far.. one more week before I begin flushing.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil.
