Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

The buds are swelling little by little, now we just have to wait, it hasn't given me any problems as a plant, indeed I recommend everyone to grow it as simple as it is .. I'll update you next week that should start to swell a lot.

Hey all, its our 2nd week after casing drop. Facing some issues with Night temp, sometimes it could fall to +12C, thinking about how to improve it. Also concerned about slow growth because of that. Using just 1/3 of Plagron recommended dose. Modified a bit my tank, made some technical window. Also set up automatic irrigation, because wool started to dry up during the day Upd Sunday 10.12.2023, Decided to put Babys finally to Seramis. Washing ceramics is some kind of hell: -First, I decided to sift all the dust through a sieve, stood in a half-bent position with bags of Seramis for 30m (my back didnt like it), but there was a lot of dust. -then I decided to check the Ph and rinse thoroughly. Although the package says 5.5-5.7 Ph, after the first flush with a balanced solution at 5.5 Ph, there was 6.5 in the drainage. - I was concerned by the very muddy brick colour water, then got tired of mixing 5.5 in a bucket for flushing and decided to rinse it with tap water from shower and then balance it back to 5.5 Ph . As a result, I poured from the hose for another 30 minutes until the water became more or less transparent. -I also tested FloraFlex discs, they drip great and, although round, fit perfectly into my square grow bags. -Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Ph meter broke down, even the readings of the calibration buffer were changing from 4-6 Ph within one minute. In the end, I spent another 30min and half a bottle of buffer on this too. It’s good that i had yellow Chinese Ph meter, which even after 3 years of rest in the box showed accurate buffer readings. -Finally, the Ph of the drainage was 5.5-5.7 and it was transparent, so I began to move it into the growbox. I sprinkled it as much as I could, it was impossible to dig deeper. The plants do not yet reach the matrix disk, so for now they will grow with the usual felt. -The cap of the tank is very thin and cannot withstand the weight of 2 grow bags, I’ll have to come up with something else, maybe I’ll put some kind of drainage grid. Watering will be from a tank with a mixed solution of 5.8 Ph and 1.1 EC.

OK lots of excitement this week. I could stand by and watch no longer something had to be done, but what? Let's turn to the strange leaf problem first. Copper necrotic spots. WTF could this be, it's nothing to do with nutrients or pH that I'm pretty confident. Maybe it's just normal leaf dying. Whatever. I've supplied some photos where you can see a pattern of concentric rings. This tends to make it look more like some sort of mosaic virus, however if that were the case it would be everywhere. It looks like something was spilled on the plant but that did not happen. I don't deem this a problem at all but it's very very puzzling. Anyway after mulling the situation it seemed like it was about time this giant leaves were gone. So all the giagantic huge chunky leaves were removed. I figured whatever they are making there's plenty more healthy leaves to carry on the work. Plus I think it induces some shock to the plant. It will definitely shift hormones around but what effect that has I don't know. It looks like I've done a lot of work on this plant but I haven't really, just trying to see what she wants to do. So all that's happened is the first two branches that come out with the first baby leaves have been removed all other branches have developed normally. Then the four branches from the first two growing nodes have been pinned down to give the plant a bit of space. Edit: I've just pinned the lowest branches back a bit more and removed any fan leaves around the top as there seems to be plenty around.

Back to moving the plant in and outside. Bad weather coming up😕 This week was average, a few good sunny days but also cold nights. Started up with the green sensation and alga bloom. There are fan leaves that are showing a pretty quick yellowing. Not so healthy and green anymore now 😁This is maximum week 5 of flowering so it's a bit too soon to be losing leaves like that.. I'm Thinking she has a N defenciy because I barely gave grow nutrients since it was in the soil for the first 6 weeks. Second thing is a lack of light for those leaves. the Alga Bloom has N in it so I hope they revocer it a bit. The leaves on the buds themselves look good so it's probably the plant using the leaves for nutrients in this stage. Let me know what u guys think....? Update, look at the video, dirty bugs😠😠😠 caterpillars I think🤔 took away some infested leaves. And some of those fuckers. Hope it doesn't get worse Buds are starting to thickening, she has a little smell on her too by now. They already have some brown pistils on them. Nice plant but I hope the yellowing doesn't go to fast. 1,5L water with 4ml alga bloom and 1ml of green sensation was given this week. Will continue to give this for the next 3 to 4 weeks. The Amnesia haze 2 is turning light green yellowish some told me it could be deficiency or it could be just flowering taking energy from the leaves but I’m not sure I used Gaia green bloom recently thinking it would help I’m going to too water that haze from here out the other have and sour I’m going to continue to bottom feed I took some trichome pics I don’t think there ready yet but I think I’m getting close to the date I feel the the amnesia haze 2 is going to hit 90+ days tho kind of hope not cause the other haze and sour are probably going be done sooner I want to fry them all at the same time March 7th I think the haze #2 and Sour d is ready but the other Haze is not I’m pretty sure I have another week pre maybe even two for it to be near ready I need the tent to harvest and dry what’s ready I’m going try leave the ready ones in for another week in hope it doesn’t mess them up

Alaskan purple auto is growing great under the Medic Grow mini Sun-2. She should start bulking very soon. I have not done much, but add a little solution or water at times. 🤞🏻 for some nice flowers to form.
