~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2206 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/19- Here we go into Week Four of flower and these testers are ON FIRE!🔥🔥🔥 Both testers are in a flower frenzy and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out. I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73℉ which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74℉ temperature in the tent while the lights are on. 1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉ and they're both thriving! The #1 pheno stays in a perpetual state of 'praying'.... a VERY happy girl she is and the #2 is just an enormous plant with tons of bud sites and flowers that are starting to get a coating of white trichomes giving them that frosty appearance! 1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. They'll be getting straight water from here moving forward as the medium has enough food in it to support them until they finish. 1/25- Daily watering continued today with both girls receiving 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. OMG they're both looking fantastic, both are amazing cultivars with a generous coating of trichomes beginning to cover their flowers. Hello Growmies, We have reached week 16 with our Epic Buzz plants, marking a significant moment in their growth journey. This week, Epic Buzz Pheno #3 showcased its beautiful floral maturity before it was harvested. The vibrant, frost-laden buds filled the tent with a sweet and pungent aroma, highlighting the strain's complex terpene profile. This pheno was particularly lush, sporting richly colored foliage and trichome-packed buds that are a testament to the careful nurturing it received throughout its lifecycle. Pheno #3 was harvested just after these last photos were taken, with a final wet weight of approximately 500 grams. The intricacies in the colors and textures of the buds were remarkable, showing hints of purple amidst the green, under a thick coat of crystalline trichomes. As for Pheno #1 and #2, they remain in the flowering stage, developing their profiles and will soon follow in #3’s footsteps to complete their cycle. We look forward to updating the final harvest weight once these remaining phenos have been processed. This stage is crucial as we observe the subtle differences between each pheno, helping in our ongoing efforts to optimize growth conditions and pheno selection for future cycles. Woche 5 Die Money Maker bekommt seit dieser Woche nur noch 12 Stunden Licht, damit Sie in die Blüte geht. Die Wurzeln entwickeln sich auch weiterhin gut auch wenn sie nicht Weiß sind und im Eimer manchmal sehr wenig Wasser ist da die Pflanze sehr viel trinkt. In dieser Woche habe ich an der Money Maker wenig gemacht außer das Lit auf 12 Stunden gestellt und die Dünger Komponenten auf die Blüte Phase geändert. Nach den Topping letzte Woche finde ich hat die Money Maker eine richtig schöne Form bekommen. Bei Fragen einfach die Frage stellen, genauso bei Verbesserungen und Tipps für mich. Ciao a tutti! Sono veramente senza parole per la quantità di terpeni e tricomi, mai avuti risultati simili. Devo dire che la linea advanced nutrients sta facendo tutto il suo dovere, non ho mai sentito un profumo così, si sente anche fuori di casa. Ho defogliato ancora tra una rete e l'altra andando a eliminare tutte le foglie che erano inutili, per evitare rischi muffa (visto anche l'umidificatore acceso) e per far sì che aria e luce non abbiano impedimenti a circolare liberamente. Penso che manchino 3 settimane, dalla prossima inizierò con l'overdrive per far sì che la pianta inizi a scaricare tutto quello che ha. Sono veramente soddisfatto, senza parole. La prossima volta metterò solo più due vasi e due strain, per ridurre il consumo di acqua e fertilizzanti, ho visto che ce la posso fare tranquillamente e più o meno nelle stesse tempistiche, visto l'eccessivo allungamento avuto questa volta. Una nota di merito allo strain, la barney's non delude mai ma la mimosa evo è veramente top, lo scorso anno ho fatto quella normale stavolta per orange punch e devo dire che è lo strain migliore che ho messo finora. Bene, continuerò a rifarmi gli occhi, a settimana prossima! 🤣 🍀😎💪🏼🔝

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we have temperatures in the mid to upper 70's, clear skies, and lots of sunshine. We have no rain in the forecast for a few days 🙏 Day 2 we had lots of sunshine and clear skies. Highs in the upper 70's and 49% humidity. We needed the dryness. 🙏 Day 3 we had clear skies and sunshine. Temperatures were in the mid to upper 70's. Day 4 we had partly cloudy skies and temps in the middle 70's. I added some potassium and they seem to be responding well. Day 5 we had temperatures in the low 70's. Sky's were cloudy and we had showers in the evening. Day 6 we had rain the previous night and intermittently throughout the day. Temperatures were in the low 70's with cloudy skies. Day 7 we had clear skies sunshine. Temperatures were in the low 80's. This week was a success. There was more rain than I or the plants liked. We did have a few pistils brown up from the rain. There was zero boytritis and zero powdery mildew. These plants have not been treated with any preventative and they've flourished on their own resistance. The plants added a little more height. I expect that their stretch is over. Next week I'll add potassium to pump these buds out.

Defoliate following moon phase in the biodinamic calendar. Just lower leaf and small flower. Dont know if cut more small lower buds I feel sad cutting that. Did very very small lower defoliate from week 4 to 8 once a week.

Día 18. Estoy en la 3ra semana de crecimiento. Apliqué HST en las dos ramas altas para poder igualar la altura con las otras dos. Por el momento viene todo en marcha. Solamente hubo un poco de stress con hojas un poco arrugadas por exceso de nutrientes. Así que hoy rebajé la solución con un poco de agua. En 3 o 4 semanas debería estar en condiciones de cortar los esquejes que voy a necesitar para el sistema completo. Inicialmente voy a usar un módulo que ya tenía armado que hice con un cajón plástico. Ese es para 4 esquejes y la madre. Pero es muy chico para el espacio que tengo. Así que inicialmente usaré este y luego armaré uno para 9 o 7 plantas. Veremos cuan cómodo queda con 5 plantas por ahora, porque quizá prefiero hacer 7 plantas cómodas y no meter 9 y después no poder manejar el espacio. La idea es que la madre vaya al medio y los esquejes alrededor. Día 21. Rocíe la planta con tierra de diatomeas como preventivo. Sigo aplicando HST para lograr que las ramas bajas tomen protagonismo,y ya que van a ser los esquejes que use. De todos modos estoy viendo en el crecimiento que la genetica no está bien estabilizada. Los bancos de semillas argentinos, hasta ahora han sido decepción en cada siembra que hice, por lo cual no me sorprendería que esta también lo sea. Estoy analizando la idea de pasar a floración la planta así cómo está en el indoor grande y arrancar con una genética europea que tengo guardada para la próxima. Porque correr riesgos innecesarios me costaría mucho tiempo. Por el momento mantengo la solución, ya que en crecimiento la suelo hacer durar 10 o 15 días. Principalmente cuando la planta tiene menos de 4 semanas. Esta semana que arranca voy a definir que hago con esta genética. De paso subo un video con la configuración casi terminada del indoor. Pero cuando esté funcionando se va a entender mejor.

Hi All, I think I must have missed a week, don't know how I did that but I switched on the 16th OCT and this should have been the fifth week of flowering. Anyways I will change that over the weekend. Weekly update: *What's happening in the garden. So starting the fifth week of flowering and the buds are starting to bulk up. I still think the canopy is too dense but I am going to pretty much leave it and see how it plays out. Maybe I will thin out one large colla and see if that's going to grow a lot better but I don't know how meaningful this will be going forward. *On-going problems 1. Top canopy leaves still showing red stems. (I am almost to a point where I think this might be genetics) 2. Sweating problem - I've tried to lower temps, thin out canopy and dimming light. So I've done all that with limited success UNTIL I moved two dehumidifier into the room and lowered the RH in tent from low 70's to low 60's and I directed the top fan directly at the canopy rather than blowing slightly above the canopy. That seemed to help the plant sweat without leaves pointing up and tacoing. 3. Brown goo in reservoir - I am seeing some brown goo started to grow again but less than before. So I am going to increase the cannazym, hydro guard and PH at 5.5. *Neat trick to slightly increase your grow tent area. Since this is a monster mother plant in a 2x4 tent. I've been having trouble keeping her in check especially on the perimeter of the canopy so I actually added a input fan to decrease humidity and increase air flow and also created a positive atmosphere in the tent so the tent basically increased 10- to 15% in volume especially in the middle of the tent where my canopy is at so this gives her more room to bulk up the buds.
