Day 56 : Well 8 full weeks si ce I flipped the lights and this lady looks so ripe now . Her pistils are mostly orange now throughout the plant. I did get a little second burst of pistils befor e the rest browned off and it swelled them very nicely . Her smell is a fruity sweet but there is also another undertone there I just cant grab at. Will hopefully come out in cure a bit more to nail it. She is nice and sticky now too and has some nice clumps of buds to that are solid to squeeze . I plan to loupe her soon to check her trichromes for cloudiness. She has t skipped a beat the whole grow and will be getting another run out soon. Hopefully next update will be harvesting pics !!!. Be safe growmies UPDATE DAY 61:She is done and out . Yay. I had planned and expected an 11 week flowering due to the genetic mix but she had other ideas. She has been a pleasure to try out and grow and will certainly be popping more of the Fruity Gorillas in the near future. She smells very "fresh fruit stall" at the moment and I am looking forward to how she cures up. I will update as soon as she is harvested from the dried stems. I am hoping for a 1p day slower dry but temps here are crazy at the moment and I cant find a cooler space to dry than my grow room yet. Some new pics of her taken out and trimmed. Windy rainy week. Another week or 2 and I think these girls will be coming down. They have had some rough weather and I don't think they will take much more rain. Buds are nice and hard so it won't be to much of a loss.

Chopped earlier than expected. I thought it was finished., I dried for a couple of days until the branches snapped without bending. Usually the good old stuff you can find from websites concerning this.

Only 1cm vertical growth this week, but she's been pushing out some leaves! She seems happy so far.

First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. Smoked those buds I chopped off last week, lovely high, long lasting. Really strong diesel smell. The bottom half of the try is drying up, a couple of branches were completely dry, others had a bit of dry buds. I've removed those dry branches and will be adding a question to try to understand what is going on with those branches. I had the same thing on the Peach Puree CBD and was told it was because of wrong watering, some roots drying up but I doubt this is the case here, she was watered well and not drying up, she also has some mulch on top and can't see that the pot is drying up she is also drinking very little water. Another theory could be because the light isn't reaching those lower branches, so they are giving up. Did some defoliation on the top part too, buds are growing well, can't wait for her to finish already.

just finishing week 4 off the watermelon Zkittlez and if i don't say so myself she's looking brilliant really putting her roots down into this 3 gallon fabric smart pot. she's recovered from her topping lovely which led me to top two more of her bottom nodes which also have bounced back super quick this strain really is here to mess about... already having to defoliate once a week and its not just a few leave its been quite a lot considering her size.

These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. Weekly update on these absolutely gorgeous girls. I was gone for the beginning of the week and came back today and I swear the flowers have doubled in size. They're smelling super strong and gassy. The flowers are dense as rocks so I hope with the summer heats they'll stay that way and not become airy. All in all Happy Growing.

Hello again Good week, she grew at least 10 cm. Healthy green leaves. One watering with nutrients. Every 5 days vita race spray, other days pure water. Gonna give rhizotonic next watering. Also did a slight defolation. Removed the 2 lowest fanleaves. No need to put energy in those future popcornbuds. She spend most of the week inside behind the warm window sun with a little breeze from a ventilator Next week it will be very warm here. I think I will leave her outside. She's strong enough by now. Upcoming week I will also start the Neem Oil treatment. Purely preventive but outside there is more chance on bad bugs so I wanna be ahead of problems instead of waiting for the first signs😁 keep an eye out cause I will post more pictures this week to show how she develops.
