Hopefully, this is a sign that spring's around the corner. My Skunk Apple plant sounds like it's finally getting on track. After a rough start, it's good to hear things are looking decent. Hopefully, it'll keep looking better and better.

🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. These roots were vibrant, white and healthy, looking like noodles in a thick herbal soup — a true sign of vitality. Week 12/2 - 18/2

Twelfth week and now this is the end. I decided to harvest these days because two weeks have passed since I have increased the amount of water and because the peaks now seem to be in a very good development point. The plant is really spectacular. The flowers are very compact and voluminous, they give off a really intense, citrusy and orange scent. The two main buds are completely equal and measure entirely 50cm. All the rest of the buds have not developed badly either. The amount of pollen is moderately high and you can notice very well a compact layer on all the flowers. As I said I watered the plant with just water all week, increasing the dose more and more to wash the roots completely and be able to harvest the plant. I cut everything and hung it all up in a cabinet where I control the humidity and temperature values and try to keep them stable through an air recirculation system. I hope to have everything almost dry and ready within 10 days to be able to participate in the competition. I really thank Zamnesia very much for the opportunity it has given me and for this wonderful genetics that has made me known. I am very excited about what I have achieved from this growth and what I have learned in all this time. All I need now is to try this wonder!

Day 79 (First Grow, Flowering Phase): Hey everyone! It's the start of a new week, and we're now on day 79 of our first grow. The flowering phase is progressing beautifully, with the buds getting bigger and frostier day by day. 🌸✨ We've started to see the formation of orange hairs, which is a promising sign of the buds maturing. The plants are looking healthy and vibrant, and the SCROG net is helping to keep everything well-supported and evenly exposed to light. Humidity issues from last week are still being monitored, and we're considering adding a dehumidifier to ensure optimal conditions as we move closer to harvest. March 13, 2019 Update: Transplanted and moved one of the CBD Medi Kush plants into the Flower room this weekend. The other seedling will remain in the veg tent for another month, then I’ll pick the next plants to move into flower. I’d like to keep a 6 plant per month rotation going in flower. Also, switching over to organic feeding. Feeding with Living Water (2-3 ounces of fish tank water per gallon of well water) and also trying Jobe's Organics Fertilizer Spikes for Vegetables 2-7-4. I planted 5 spikes per 5 gallon grow bag. I pushed the spikes down finger depth about 2/3's of the way from the base of the stem to the side of the bag and spread the 5 spikes evenly around the pots. The plan is to just add water from here on out and see how it goes. I have 'high hopes', I recently read "True Living Organics" by The Rev and he seems to be a big fan of spikes and living water. I did change to a new 1000W HPS bulb in the flower room. The old bulb was in use for 3 months. p.s. I'm starting a couple new diaries next, check em out! 👍

It smells very skunky and diesely, kind of burned my eyes while harvesting it was so strong. Very excited because this was my first grow and my first harvest and it went very well.
