They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! Big hug, lots of love and take care! ***UPDATE*** The final weigh-in is ready. I hadn't seen them in a week, because of my vacation. The humidifier I set up, had failed. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. Week 6 and they are still in the vegetation phase. Still growing it under 1 95w cfl 6500k. I really learned that leaving your plant in a small pot for too long can really stunt growth and slows down the whole process... It's growing pretty fast right now and every day i see how the plant is getting bigger. Did some LST to give new branches more light. Leave any tips :)

Had been watching the grow tent channel on YouTube...you can tell by the video the plants had gotten dried out too much. Still working on watering properly.

The flowers are really starting to stack and thicken up. This is going to be a much more bountiful harvest than I thought previously. The smell is out of this world. creamy berry gasoline. update 11/21: I opened the tent this morning and was inspired to take some updated pics and a couple videos showing the entire plants. I am just amazed with these @mephistogenetics I highly doubt I will ever use another seed company again. Just the progress they have made in the past 3 days has me a believer for sure. 45 days in and they have some amazing weight on them already. I'm guessing these will be between 50 and 75g dry weight per plant when done, Even the side branches are stacking up some nice fat nugs, bigger than golf balls already.

Not really done much last week, they got a bit of light burn from LED. Which I've now move up. But new growth seems to be doing ok. Cover crops are coming on fantastic. 26/6 Friday V) She is the bid sister of the group so I'm going to top her today 29/6 V) Has got 4 new grow tips started where I topped her. The rest are catching up nicely now. Will start some LST in the next couple of days. 2/7 Done a bit if training on the girls today. Bent four of them over. The fifth one that I topped I didn't bend her yet, I just did some leaf tucking and she is coming on fantastic. 3/7 They have all bounced back brilliantly and heading towards the lights. 5/7 End of week 3 and going to do some more LST on them as the have bounced back from the last lot of training.
