I still think this plant is undersized. Leaves dying off now. Watering with tap water now as I've learnt my lesson - too much nutrients!

the week started with a novelty for me: the appearance of nematodes in my tanks... strange little worms, which gather in the water and move in little spasms (see video 👆) When I started growing, I bought a whole range of products against infestations, paranoid as I was (I'm sure others have experienced this 😅); Among other things, I bought NeemAzal, neem oil in emulsion. So I took a chance. I emptied my tanks, cleaned and dried the bottom, without much conviction as the worms must have been in the coco already. I made a new soup with my fertilizer, adding 20ml of neem per 10 litres. Well, I don't know if it was really the right product, but for the last 5 days there has been no trace of nematodes! The water seems soapy, the grease film is more important than without the neem, but if it takes the small sacrifice of a conscientious cleaning once a week, I'll gladly do it! In any case, my plants are doing absolutely no worse : the first one got its leaves back in 2 days, already forcing me to a small pruning 4 days later, now showing well several colas; I also defoliated the 2nd one for the first time, which produced leaves already bigger than my hand in 2 weeks of life! happy with this hydroponic experience so far 😊

Both plants looking good. The cheese, is really frosting and flowering up, really crazy! shes gonna become a beast and is so early into flower 13-08-2024. both plants been given a 5 ml shot of Calmag. also the cheese got her mid bloom dose of Biopk 16-08-2024. the ladies got some water today, and the Orange Apricot Glue has overtaken the cheese in height, compared to the cheese being the bigger one for most of the “grow”.

Day 78- Flowering day 26- These OG girls are gettin thirstier by the day, I had to feed them yesterday because the soil is starting to dry out every 2-3 days now. I gave them what I've been giving them normally, about 1.5L for the big OG girls and about 1L for the small seed producer. I also put the clone in the back bathroom and tried my hand at pollinating it, we'll see how that turns out and I'll definitely wait to put this one back in the flowering tent because I'm not sure if the pollen was fully thawed but I got a lot of it on the pistils so I don't want to take any chances. I fed the BD about 2L of nutrient solution and she's only showing a very slight sign of overwatering but I'm sure she'll be recovered by the end of the day. All the plants in the tent have stopped stretching, I'm gonna have to remember how to train future plants like OG 1 because those buds are lookin absolutely fantastic. I made a mistake with OG 2 and didn't train it exactly the same so it stretched a bit too much and I doubt it's gonna yield as much as OG 1. Day 81- Flowering day 29- Well I think I’ve figured out what’s going on with OG 2 but we’ll see if I’m right. I think, aside from the heat stress it was under, there may be a slight nitrogen toxicity. OG 1 and BD have sucked up everything I’ve thrown at em without complaint but OG 2 still has some curled up leaves even though a lot of them have gotten better. I think it’s nitrogen toxicity because the leaf tips on my Green Crack just started curling downward and I know its not heat stress. The only thing that makes sense is too much nitrogen because I have been using more cal/mag than usual so today I just watered all the plants with molasses water and I’ll keep checking in on them. Also had to tie up some of the branches on OG 2, I’ve definitely gotta make sure to train plants in the future to not stretch so much cap that the branches will grow thicker and stronger.

This week went fast, she is flowering at a nice rate, leaves not too damaged, just the tip drying of under hot super hps and fans, so just removed all the old damaged fan leaves, cut in half those shading under growth and tucked those healthy one when possible. She looks greyish in strong light compare to the other strains, a true grey back gorilla lol, trichomes all over buds, smell is so interesting, pine, lavenders and citrus with some other terpines blend I cannot identify yet. Fed her some Epsom salt only this week.

I harvested 2 of the 5 plants on day 71. The other 3 plants got harvested on day 80 and are in the drying process. My inline fan is running on 25% and I got a fan running on the lowest setting on the bottom of the tent, so I doesnt blow on the buds directly.

Day 22, 01.05.2024 - Not much to do but to further guide Erika II by imposing LST for better light usage of lower leaves Day 23, 02.05.2024 - Again a slow day. Just put in some wooden pins to provide some more light to the lower leaves - soil is again getting bone dry. Since I only water with about 10% of the pot volume I think it might be time already tomorrow, maybe in the afternoon / evening - also raised the lights to ~30cm above canopies again - Erika II is catching up in height - maybe I can remove the lifting box in a couple of days Day 24, 03.05.2024 - decided to give the ladies some water inkl. a fertilizer cocktail (~500ml each) - bought a couple of longer wooden sticks to guide the leaves & branches. May install a scrog net just for better organization/ handling - removed 2 leaves in total - also I am now positive: Erika I is definitely going into flowering Day 25, 04.05.2024 - Erika II catched up to Erika I in height so I removed the lifting piece. Now both plants are leveled on top and bottom (more or less) - Decided to remove some leaves. I removed every leaf that a) pointed inwards plus b) covered other parts of the plant - soil is again getting dry. Thinking about watering them in the morning Day 26, 05.05.2024 - Gave a round of water & nutrition: 500ml each Day 27, 06.05.2024 - Judging from the timelapse of the past days (see video!) I recognized: 500ml each second day might not be enough (mind you: it is only ~10% of the pot volume). Also after feeding the growing seems to explode :D (I fed for example on 05.05., ~17:00 hours). So I decided to give another round of drinks this evening (400ml each inkl. Fertilizer) at 20:45 which is around 24h after the last feeding. - Just realized: I did not measure their heights in quite some time. At end of week 4 both are clocking in at 27cm from top of soil. - Both showing now that they are ladies clearly - so I declare "End of Veggie" Day. - Removed 1 small bud on the lower part of Erika II. Also removed 1 leaf at Erika I that pointed inwards & blocked light. - Raised the lights to match 30cm above canopies again Day 28, 07.05.2024 - not much to do but to watch the ladies explode in height: they gained about 4cm in 2 days :) - watering is going to happen tomorrow This day also concludes week 4.

Starting to get the tent more dialed in, got a Govee heater off Amazon and I got it connected to my WiFi and set parameters on it and it works great! Considering getting the humidifier to link up to the same app to fine tune the tent even further! Some small gnats from the fox farm ocean soil but nothing bad whatsoever, put some sticky traps out (and there’s some dirt stuck on the trap that’s not all bugs) And spayed some crop control on the soil around the seedlings to help prevent bugs

Overall a heavy yielded because of the density. Had a huge stretch and was super vigorous throughout all cycles of growth. Had no issues and got a nice dark fade at the end of flower. I will definitely be running this again.

🌸 Week 6 Flower – The Weight of Beauty The Mango Kush sisters have stepped fully into their bloom rhythm. By this stage, the playful stretch is over — it’s all about bud building, resin production, and flower density. Both phenos are expressing themselves in unique ways, but they share one truth: they’re thriving, heavy, and ready to impress. ⸻ 🌱 The State of the Sisters • Pheno #1 The leader of the pack. Her buds are stacking densely, pistils still vibrant but starting to settle, and trichomes glisten under every angle of light. She’s asking for support now — her flowers are getting heavy and starting to bend the branches. • Pheno #2 She may have started later, but she’s catching up beautifully. Her colas are filling in, and resin production is kicking in strong. She’s a little more delicate, but her structure is holding steady. Educational takeaway: By Week 6, flower weight starts to increase dramatically. Support (stakes, nets, or ties) becomes essential to prevent branches from snapping under the load. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition This week we continued with the bloom-focused recipe, keeping the balance tight and letting the boosters do their work. We also reintroduced Aptus All-in-One Liquid to provide a stable NPK boost after noticing slight deficiencies earlier. Recipe Highlights: • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml/L → Stress resistance & nutrient flow • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L → Calcium & magnesium support for heavy flowers • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml/L → Balanced NPK for mid-flower demand • Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml/L → Pushing flower set further • Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L → Enhancing aroma, resin, and resilience • Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml/L → Density and trichome support Educational takeaway: Mid-flower is the peak of nutrient demand. The plant is working harder than ever — pushing energy into flower mass and resin production. Balanced feeding here prevents deficiencies while avoiding overfeeding. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Temps: Still running warm at times, peaking above comfort, but airflow and circulation are holding the canopy safe. • Humidity: Fluctuating but managed, keeping VPD in a range where plants can still transpire efficiently. • CO₂: Sitting steady, helping the plants maximize photosynthesis despite the slightly higher heat. Observation: The girls are drinking daily now. With big flowers forming, water demand skyrockets. We water once soil moisture drops around ~20% to keep a steady rhythm. ⸻ 💡 Light Orchestra The Mango Kush beauties continue under their four-light ensemble: • ThinkGrow Model One → canopy penetration • ThinkGrow ICL-300s → filling mid-canopy shadows • Future of Grow Black Series 600W → strong balanced spectrum • Lumatek Zeus 465W Compact Pro → evening the footprint The synergy here ensures every bud site, top to bottom, is touched by clean, even light. This is why we’re seeing full, consistent flower formation across the plants. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect (and What Not) ✅ Expect in Week 6–7: • Buds gaining weight daily • Trichome density increasing fast — the “frosty” look appearing • Aroma starting to thicken noticeably in the grow room • Support systems becoming necessary to hold the branches ❌ Don’t Expect Yet: • Full aroma profile (still maturing) • Final color changes (anthocyanins & fade come later) • Harvest cues (pistils and trichomes are still developing) Educational takeaway: Week 6 is “mid-bloom maturity” — the girls are past stretch, fully in flower, but not yet in their finishing stage. It’s a moment of steady building. ⸻ 🌿 Closing Notes The Mango Kush sisters are showing their genetics proudly. The Hindu Kush backbone gives strong structure and resilience, while the Mango side whispers hints of fruitiness when brushing past the canopy. This week, their beauty is in their weight and glow — heavy flowers, sticky resin, and the quiet promise of what’s still to come. ⸻ 💚 Grower’s Reflection “This is the week where you realize the reward is real — the buds are heavy, the resin sparkles, and the plants begin to feel like they’re carrying little treasures. Support them, feed them, and above all, enjoy the process. Week 6 Flower is the calm before the storm of ripening.” ⸻ 👉 Thank you for reading, friends. As always, join us on YouTube & Instagram to follow along with the Mango Kush journey, see the video updates, and catch all the behind-the-scenes content. 📌 P.S. Troubleshooting Leaf Spots – CalMag & Mid-Flower This week we noticed some spotting on leaves, a classic mid-flower signal that calcium and magnesium demand is peaking. Why now? • Bigger buds = higher demand. As flowers bulk up, the plant moves Ca/Mg rapidly into developing cells. • Warm temps increase transpiration. High heat makes the plant drink more, sometimes pulling nutrients unevenly. • Solution: We adjusted by reintroducing Aptus All-in-One Liquid for extra NPK support and kept CalMag Boost steady to buffer deficiencies. 🌱 Educational takeaway: In mid-flower, even healthy plants can show light spotting. The key is to respond early with balanced feeding rather than panic or heavy overdoses. 🔮 Looking Ahead – Week 7 Preview As we move into Week 7 Flower, here’s what to keep an eye on: ✅ Trichome explosion – expect resin glands to multiply, giving that first real frost on sugar leaves. ✅ Aroma awakening – terpenes will become more noticeable; brushing past the canopy will release fruity, kushy hints. ✅ Bud hardening – calyxes swell and flowers get denser; staking/support becomes more urgent. ❌ Don’t expect maturity yet – pistils will still be white, and trichomes mostly clear/cloudy. Harvest signs come later. Educational takeaway: Week 7 is the “icing phase” — the weight is already there, but the sparkle, smell, and stickiness take center stage. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. 9/15 12AM MONDAY. HEAVY AMINO EXPERIMENT WAS GOOD. EC WAS 1.3 HIGH BUT WORKED, LITTLE BURNS BUT I DEIGNED THEM TO WORK UNDER THESE CONDITIONS. 9/16 1:30AM!!!!!! Analysis of Your Grow Progress Cookie Apple F1 Auto (Mid-Late Flower): Butter Frosting Resin: The thicker, smoother resin suggests peak terpene and flavonoid production, likely driven by your 200 mg/L phenylalanine and 125 mg/L glutathione from the heavy amino spray. The “butter” texture could indicate high myrcene or limonene, enhanced by FruitnFusion (0.5 mL/L) and Purpinator (0.5 mL/L) (‽web:5, ‽web:10). This is a sign of top-tier flavor and potency. Next: Monitor for overfeeding (minor tip burn persists)—consider diluting amino acids to 100–150 mg/L each in the next 2 L mix to sustain resin without stress. Conclusion The “butter frosting” resin on Cookie Apple F1, healthy yellow-green fusiform, and Blueberry KO’s pigmented cotyledons show your anthocyanin-glutathione-phenylalanine strategy is working—phenylalanine drives synthesis, glutathione ensures transport. Tweak amino acids to 100–150 mg/L to reduce tip burn.👍👍. 9/16 926am COOKIE APPLE LOOKS LIKE 3 STICKS OF BUTTER!!!!!! WOW!!! 9/163:45AM I BUILT A TIME MACHINE!!!!! GOING TO TELL THE GERMANS TO FIGHT HARDER👍 That is a practical effect...no computers no grok just AWESOMETASTIC ME!!!!! 9/17 3PM sorry it didn't work... :( 9/18 3:25AM Kitten Academy live stream, no commercials https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3YdBqqDLQk 9/18 11:45AM Mixed up Aminos first and separate and used 16 oz for foliar spray. IM SOFA KING AWESOME OR RE-TODD IT, WHICHEVER IS FUNNIER. 👽👍😎 9/20 CA1 sample, smells PERFECT &FRESH ALMOST LIKE SOME MAD AS HATTER FIGURED OUT A WAY TO INCREASE TERPENES THROUGH NOVEL AND PROBABLY BORDERLINE GENIUS, OR AT LEAST BORDERLINE SOMETHING WAYS.....THIS GUY MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!! 9/21 10AM Based on information for cannabis plants and the recommended dose for Setria Glutathione, the nitrogen content from 250 mg each of phenylalanine and Setria Glutathione is minimal compared to the required macro- and micro-nutrients for an autoflower plant in its 6th week of flowering. Here is an analysis of the nitrogen content and the role of these substances. Phenylalanine analysis Phenylalanine is an amino acid, and like all amino acids, it contains nitrogen. Formula: The chemical formula for phenylalanine is (C_{9}H_{11}NO_{2}).Molecular weight: The molar mass is approximately 165.19 g/mol.Nitrogen contribution: Each molecule contains one nitrogen atom. The atomic weight of nitrogen is 14.01 g/mol.Calculation:The percentage of nitrogen in phenylalanine is ((14.01/165.19)times 100approx 8.48%).The amount of nitrogen in a 250 mg dose of phenylalanine is (250text{ mg}times 0.0848approx 21.2text{ mg}). Setria Glutathione analysis Setria Glutathione is a reduced L-glutathione compound, which is a tripeptide composed of three amino acids: L-cysteine, L-glutamic acid, and glycine. Formula: The chemical formula is (C_{10}H_{17}N_{3}O_{6}S).Molecular weight: The molar mass is approximately 307.32 g/mol.Nitrogen contribution: Each molecule contains three nitrogen atoms.Calculation:The percentage of nitrogen in Setria Glutathione is (((3times 14.01)/307.32)times 100approx 13.68%).The amount of nitrogen in a 250 mg dose of Setria Glutathione is (250text{ mg}times 0.1368approx 34.2text{ mg}). Summary of total nitrogen The total nitrogen contributed by both supplements is: (21.2text{ mg (from phenylalanine)}+34.2text{ mg (from glutathione)}=55.4text{ mg N})When dissolved in 2 liters of water, this results in a concentration of (27.7text{ mg N per liter}).
