The harvest is pretty small but in these conditions, I didn't expect much more. This grow was more for fun than for harvest so I'm quite happy with it :) - I didn't weight wet buds. - Drying was made around 21°C and around 55% of humidity. Veg time : 29 days. Flowering time : 48 days. Total time from seed to harvest : 81 days. Height : 53cm Pot size : 10l

Welcome to week 20 of my grow diary. Fortunately, the weather has improved again. Apart from the location, nothing else has changed. See you next week ✌️

Week 3 update and all systems go for launch. We’re flipping to flower exactly 21 days from seed and so far, the mix looks to be impressive. Counting about 4 males (one that won’t make the cut), 2 indica leaning phenos and the rest are sativa leaning. Side branching has also been impressive so we should be able to pull some rootable cuts within the next week or two. If we got the sexes right (it is a little early to be certain), then the dutchy cabinet will be full up for bud testing👍. Next week will tell the tale🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. This week the plants got very bushy and wide. Stopped using Root Juice and Used Recharge microbes for the first time one day out of the week. LST also began this week. I noticed separate issues on two of the plants on their 21st day; the girl on the right showed some yellow color in some of the tips of the new growth at the top of the plant, while the girl in the middle had low hanging leaf tips which look burned / discolored. I think I might be over-watering. I'll confirm all of their soil is completely dry with my a moisture meter before watering next time.

Creo que le quedan unas dos semanas por estirar, parece que va a ser una buena cosecha. Se mantiene un buen control del cuarto de cultivo gracias a @marshydro y @trolmaster. Grow diary / germination / The new adventure begins Hello, dear grower friends! 😊 I’m back with a new grow diary and a new adventure. This is my second grow and I’m excited to try new things and improve my skills. I’m thankful for all the support and feedback I’ve received from you . 🙏 In this week’s update, I want to talk about: My setup My seeds My germination My expectations My setup My setup is still an 80 by 80 by 180 cm tent, which is a bit small but nothing else fits in my room. I’m very satisfied with it for the beginning, but I will get a Homebox for the third run because I find the zippers better processed and the inlay reflects more light. My lamp is a LUmatek 200 watt pro edition, which I’m absolutely happy with. It has great handling and processing and it gives enough light for my plants. If I get a smaller tent for a mother plant, I will order from Lumatek again 110 percent. My exhaust is twice as strong as I need it so I can keep it at a quiet 50 percent. It keeps the air fresh and the temperature stable. The temperature is around 25°C and the humidity is around 60%. I water my plants manually according to the Biobizz fertilizer scheme. I use organic nutrients and adjust the pH of the water. The plants are in Lightmix now and will move to 20 l fabric pots in Allmix when transplanting. My seeds As seeds I have this time: 1 Orange Sherbert from Barneys Farm 1 Bruce Banner 1 Apple Fritter 2 Lemon Gelato from a collaboration of Zamnesia and Kannabia These are all very special strains that I’m curious to try. The Lemon Gelato seeds were limited to 500 and I hope they will be fantastic. Of course I have conserved some for later grows. My germination I germinated the seeds in a glass of water for 24 hours and then planted them in small pots with Lightmix. They sprouted after 2-3 days and are now showing their first true leaves. They look healthy and happy, except for one Lemon Gelato seed that didn’t make it, which was probably my fault. The other one is very lively. I have them under the lamp at 18/6 light cycle and at about 50 cm distance. I water them every two days with a spray bottle and a little bit of root juice. My expectations I’m looking forward to the new challenge, especially because it’s a mix of 4 strains this time and I hope we can build on past successes. I want to improve my scrog technique and top the plants at least 3 times. I also want to try mainlining on one of them. Lots of new growth this week, looks like the screen is about 50% full, I’m thinking in the next week or two I’ll get to 12/12. In the mean time I’m adding an extra hour of darkness every few days to make her transition to flower smooth and stress less for her.

Day 22 25/07/24 Thursday Still no Feed/water since Tuesday. Been a humid and overcast two days so not as much evaporation as normal. All plants happy and healthy 💚 Video updates Day 23 26/07/24 Friday De-chlorinated watering pH 6 with 5ml calmag to 5L water. Watered each with 250ml and had small run off. I will continue to feed/water with small run offs to help prevent salt build ups. Video update. Day 26 29/07/24 Monday Nice feed today, using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. They each had 300ml with small run off. All looks incredibly happy and healthy! The Auto Kabul that was mutated and twisted has pulled herself through and is just a bit shorter than the others. Day 28 31/07/24 Wednesday End of week😁 De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L Used 300ml of the 5L solution. I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation. We'll see how they perform 💪💚

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. Once again these girls don’t really need much just watering when dry but other than that we are on cruise mode. I have been checking trichomes for about a week now and man is she almost there I should be giving them lights out with in another week or two can’t wait

week intel: we getting close to end of ripening , this week i raised drought , Nitrogen and E.C stress by feeding them 2 times per week and raised e.c to 3 to cause real stress that will help increase terpenes production stresses : Nitrogen deficiency Stress by removing the fertilizers that has N in them Drought stress via removing one meal in week high E.C stress around 1.7 and the other feeding day 3.0 , 2 times a week feeding: no more Nitrogen i feed them 2 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them high with Bio-Bizz Top-Max + Feeding Booster about 850 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause a medium e.c stress. day 3 : no more feeding this day day 5 : i feed them very high dose of Bio-Bizz Top-Max + Feeding Booster around 1500 ppm - 3 e.c to cause high e.c stress guide of the week : be patient in the last weeks, never hurry for harvest because its the time of ripening in last 2 weeks you should let plants to do their work last weeks of ripening is the time to break the limits we should cause 3 stresses as i said above Nitrogen stress , Drought Stress , E.C Stress

Our beautiful girls have plant louses 😱 So yesterday we made a brew of garlic and sprinkeld all of the plants, also the ground of the growbox - after cleaning up everything. So we hope this works. Have anyone experience with the small green monsters? We would be grateful for some suggestions.
