For the last week our temperatures have been over 95f with the heat index, the feels like temperatures approach 115F. We have been under an extreme heat advisory. Stay inside, stay hydrated, put salt in your water for electrolytes, dress in loose clothing, etc. Remember week 7, I posted pictures of our bridge opening with boats…Well the extreme heat broke the bridge around 3pm yesterday. It is a primary thoroughfare and was closed indefinitely to traffic. They fixed it around 8pm. Traffic was a nightmare. It also shows the limits of evacuating in case of hurricanes. I couldn't load the video, but the pic shows they are spraying down the bridge to cool the equipment that operates the draw lift. I’m still treating areas of bud rot in hopes of saving some of Sour Jealousy. I’ve cut off a couple more spots, but she survived another week. Let’s see if she can hang on through this week of extreme heat and anticipated rain. I give her ½ gallon of water daily and only feed once or twice a week. Día 29, estoy ya un poco alucinado, es día 29 y no paran de crecer...he cambiado el agua he Intento subir un poco el ppm al agua, y me da excesos... Así que decido dejarlo bajo a 300ppm y creo que lo voy a dejar así hasta el final... Llevan enzimas de limpieza que descomponen el abono así que dejaré que se auto alimenten porque van super bien ... Haber si pasan hambre.. pero no lo veo claro...en fin no me quiero pasar en el engorde meterle mucho abono y están super verdes bonitas, y florecen a lo bestia así que dejaré que se consuman un poco el abono de las hojas... Día 36 veo que empiezan a tener carencia de magnesio y calcio, he añadido no sé, una locura de magnesio y calcio, también melaza, ácidos fulvicos y humicos y pk bastante.. lo fui subiendo de 150ppm a 400ppm y vi que se lo comían rápido y subían las hojas , al fondo vi que se empezaban a quemar las hojas y algunos pelos por falta de magnesio y calcio así, que me volví loco... De 400 ppm a 800ppm va cargada a tope... espero ahora no causar ningún exceso ... Mañana miraré como reaccionan a la bomba que les he metido van a tope al máximo, si veo que tienen exceso ,no habrá otro remedio que bajar ppm quitando y metiendo agua limpia, y si veo que van bien en las dejo... En teoría voy bajo de ppm tendría que ir a 1200ppm como mínimo, para la semana que voy y más si le añado co2... Pero bueno iré con 800ppm si veo que va bien lo dejo si veo que piden más le añadiré , de momento mañana investigaré... 😅😅 Día 37 por mucho que ayer les metí, más magnesio encimas ácidos fulvicos etc... No he visto ningún cambio... Así que he vuelto a indagar en el tema.... Y creo que más bien tienen carencia aparte del magnesio y calcio, tenían carencia de posforo y potasio, así que como no, me he vuelto loco echándole pk.... Tenía una ppm de 450 se lo subí a 800 y empezaron a subir las hojas, estaban como apagadas ... Total que me vine arriba y les he metido casi 1400 de ppm de sopetón... Así que mañana una de dos, o están quemadas por exceso , ( que no me extrañaría...) o están las hojas buscando la luz y engordando como locas.... Bueno como dije al principio del diario aprendo del error acierto... Y bueno ya se que en la 3 semanas de floración piden ya magnesio calcio y pk , el calcio magnesio que tenía , tenía nitrógeno y me dio exceso por eso estaban un poco con garra... Está vez he comprado calmag de biobizz que es orgánico y no contiene nitrógeno o eso e entendido... Pero si tiene será orgánico... En fin espero que en las k1 tizane no tener muchos problemas de nutrición he comprado un pack biobizz todo orgánico ....

Cruising. Kept the nutrients the same as last week as the plants are going a bit slower than advertised by crop king and Sonoma seeds. Looking like flowering will take ~10 weeks when all said and done. Minor amount of defoliation done. Will be the last time to make sure I don’t stunt these autos. And ONLY defoliating. No pruning as I’m too afraid it will stunt the plants. Lots of buds forming now. Plants looking great. Noticed that the sun shines through my windows for several hours and directly onto the plants so I have started opening up the tent everyday and letting the sun shine on them. Helping to ripen the lower buds and have them be less larfy when all said and done. This does cause the plants to drink water like no other so have had to up the volume on fertigations. I’ve been using a LUX meter to check and make sure top colas aren’t getting too much light. The thing works great! Well worth the purchase. My mothers on the other side of the tent are big so need less light and as a result I have been able to move two of their lights in close to the flowering autos. The additional light is definitely helping bulk up the plant. Currently over the two plants there is (as listed) an HLG 135w Rspec, an HLG 100 V2 3000k, an HLG 65 V2 4000k and a Mars Hydro TS600. Tons of light! I’m in isolation as 2 of my housemates got COVID. As a result, I have a LOT of time to spend babying these plants and it is paying off. See you next week!

Germination: Started regular 10 seeds. 5- Sour 76 (sour diesel x 76 Afghani) 5- Platunum Yeti F3 (Platinum cookies x Yeti Og) These are "tester" seeds given to me free courtesy of Humboldt Seed Organization. They are testing to see what phenos and germ rates testers have before deciding to launch a line or not. Here we go! Of 10 started, 6 survived. 4 out of 5 sour 76 successfully germinated. 2 out of 5 Platinum yeti successfully germinated. 1 yeti never cracked and I probably could've taken scissors to rough the shell and get it to germ, but it didnt pop in root riot after days so I tossed it! one plat yeti germed and as it rise up got a white furry fungus of some kind. I tried to save it but it ended up dying off. despite it actually germinating initially. 6 lived in their rooter plugs and got transfered to 3.5 x 3.5 inch square pots with coco coir / perlite (70 /30 mix) at 4 days old. I start week 1 with germination which isn't truly veg for time sake, but with a short veg indoors (34 days before flip this run) I'm uploading these all one after another as I've just harvest. Questa bella ragazza, ci ha lasciato letteralmente a bocca aperta. Dopo un piccolo problema durante le prime settimane di vita (foglie che presentavano punte ad artiglio verso il basso), la BISCOTTI 🍪, ha saputo riprendersi velocemente producendo dei buds gonfi e grossi! La cima principale era talmente grande che al suo interno ho trovato un pochino di principio di marciume, prontamente rimosso. Molto forte il suo odore durante l'essicazione.

Currently checking daily and tying away branches/leaves to give the buds more light and watering when the soil is dry. Currently my plants drink exactly 1,5L a day. I have the feeling that the right plant is lacking a bit of potassium. I'll leave everything as it is for now because the left plant (fresh new soil) is growing well. Since the right plant is quite bushy anyway, I'll defoliate it again later and remove any lower shoots. I started adding the Bio PK booster towards the middle of the first week of flowering, 2ml per liter of water; as the pH value drops too much, I correct it upwards with Biobizz pH up - from pH 5.5 to 6.5 for 3L, I add a total of 39 drops. My water is mixed as follows: 3L osmosis water, plus 6ml CalMag, 6ml BioPK 5-8 and 39 drops of pH + BioBizz.

We’re in the midst of the bulking phase now, with a few buds stacking up nicely. Unfortunately, the plant on the left has sparser bud distribution. Compared to other auto genetics, these three plants also show a broad variety in growth structure and phenological traits. Also, overall plant health isn’t entirely satisfying, with high temperatures being the Main cause. The leaves are showing several stress-related issues like mild tip burn, nitrogen deficiency, and some cal-mag problems. But hey - we’re here to grow buds, not leaves! 😄 That said, the fade is to be expected as the plants start to cannibalize themselves for nutrients.
