Plants are doing well, no bird attacks and taking off in growth. I'm happy with the progress and will be starting the liquid feed next week. First time using TripTonic branded nutrients, should be straight forward as long as I keep my numbers in check. Will be feeding once or twice a week and the rest will be just water.

On day 54 I washed roots 🚿🚿 days 55 and 56 without irrigation of water or nutrients 😋. Day 57 the princesses are very well 😍 humidity 38-40% temperature 26ºC, 15% of the tricomas are already amber color 👏🏻👏🏻💪 this is about to candy 😆😋

Howdy growfessors! Welcome to week 7F in the 4x8 theatre. The ladies are hungry, I've been increasing their feeding and they still want more! Defoliation performed, removed a lot of small dead or dying leaves from the lower branches. Not much else to say, thanks for stopping by growfessors 👽🌳💚

Day 51 - Week 8 started and it’s looking like I really need to stay on top of watering her. If she doesn’t get water every 2 days, she seems to get severely dehydrated and droopy. Within an hour of watering she perks right up. Went ahead and gave her a feeding of nutes and tucked some leaves as best I can. Day 52 - She’s perked back up again and looking normal. Did some defoliating to get more light to the bud sites and also tucked a few leaves to avoid over stressing her from plucking leaves. From the way she’s been acting, I will be giving her a gallon of water every 3 days to keep her from drying out and drooping. Day 53 - Did a little more leaf removal and tucking today to try and keep her opened up. She’s starting to fill in a bit more and will be giving her some water today to make sure she doesn’t dry out too much like the last couple times. Day 55 - All looking good and she’s dried up a bit but gave her a gallon of water today. Didn’t do any defoliating today, just watered her and tucked some leaves. The wife will be taking care of my girls while I’m out of town for a week so hopefully they survive till I get back.

03/03/2022 Down to one Lemon OG, one Biscotti Skunk, and three Grape Skunk all looking super vigorous including Lemon OG . Very happy with the genetics so far trimmed up the legs a bit lots of potential clones! Ps. Forgot picture of Biscotti Skunk it's lights out so that will get done tomorrow.

Had some recent troubles. Overwatered once, then it dried out a little much. Also found out I got nutrient burn, so defoliated what I had to. Used half recommended dose and still had burn. Won’t be feeding for another week.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. The one plant that has always been under the cobbs is a couple of weeks ahead. They are all fattening up and the smell is great. Humidity in the tent has dropped, this is due to the outside weather changing and running a 6" fan 24/7. I may start the flush on the one plant, will decide in a few days. Cheers

Barely feed them with terra aquatica tripart and compost tea every 2 week. They are happy and lush

What else can I say. The transplanting resolved all of our issues. I was worried about her not making it as it was week 1 in flower. It couldn’t have been a worst time to do this. The new pot didn’t allow me to keep her held down so I had to improvise with some tie downs and duct tape. She is popping new bud sites everyday and she’s really thriving. I won’t go back to that smaller pot with a photoperiod. This strain is a breeze to cultivate. She’s really forgiving and isn’t too picky once she needs what she wants. I bumped up her feeding accordingly as well as gave her some molasses and a nice amendment feeding. Don’t tell my kids, but this closet freak gets more attention from me. 😂😂 J/K Have a good week you crazy cultivars.
