Very resilient strain with lots of vigour and excellent growth. Little to no training required. Two distinguishable Phenos, one stayed short and bushy with leaves resembling more Indica and the other had more stretch with more inter-nodal spacing showing her sativa side. Great hybrid would recommended to anyone who’s a fan of OG Kush with a twist.

No complaints this week..humidity levels are optimal, runoff ppms are at ideal levels , white pistils are showing throughout the plants, the ladies have stretched a few more inches from last week, they seem to like to bloom ratio of the 3 part general hydroponics nutrient solution, small clusters are forming on top of plants. They seem to be drinking much more judging by how fast the medium has been drying out.So far everything is going well. Im definitely looking forward to see how well they produce buds. This strain was everything the breeders promised. All the buds were purple and some fan leaves turned pink. She isn’t really dripping in resin but I still needed gloves during trim.

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

This beautiful lady smells very strong,I swear I can't believe it's her 15th day of flower since I forced flower on August 3rd,smells just like OG kush but with a different tone of sweetness. Love this strain to pieces. On August 24th starts the 3rd week of flower 🌸🌱.

This past week has been a blast! After getting these ladies nutrition straightened out, they are thriving!💚🌱💚 I gave defoliated wayyy more than what I see other growers traditionally doing. After the "3rd and final haircut" I defoliated two more times 😅 Thank you the GD community for the support and resources along the way 🙏 My only concern now is the tent actually becoming too crowded.😆. As hot weather is on the way next week, I have not choice but to harvest. With multiple humid days in the 30s forecast I know its either harvest now or contend with grow tent temps close to 40c. Definitely not going to help the terps anyhow. Honestly I think she needs another few days, but super close either way. Trichs are predominantly milky white with just a tiny amount of amber. Managed to get a 5 day flush, not ideal but best I could do before the heat comes. Will manicure really well to speed up the dry time, hoping for a 4 day dry to avoid the hot weather. 🔥

and here we go. another week has passed and she is still doing very well. the stem is nice and thick and the buds are also getting thicker. there is not really much to report. we are at about 12 hours of daylight.

These buds were giants, fat and sticky, the aroma of these plants was very robust with heavy aromas with subtle hints of citrus, fruity sweetness, with hints of sour diesel, I could swim in the smell, these buds just blew me away!

This grow had ups and downs and I really learned a lot, thanks to everyone who shared their wisdom! Considering how very little I fed the plant, I'm surprised she even made it to harvest. The majority of her bud was mainly in the one man cola that made up 95% of plant. I didn't have much trimming to do at all. The buds are more airy than I would like, but probably my fault. She dried in 4 days and have been curing for 9 days. I took a small sample off of the main bud to get an early taste so I could complete the diary. The smell has a spicy, berry, and pine aroma. There is an earthy smell to it that is fading during the cure. I think they dried a little fast as the humidity has been very low. The first hit (vaporizer) had a piney taste and was a little heavy. I think it's just still to moist on the inside and hope it thins out over time. The flavor turned to the burnt popcorn taste rather quickly, but there was still some green in the chamber, so assume more curing will help. Overall, I am happy with my first grow. I was able to yield enough to last me to next harvest!

This week I made the decision to remove the ScrOG net because the plant has stunted growing and the leaves were droopy before and after watering . Given the fact she is an indica dominant strain, my approach to training wasn't the best. Also the light intensity has been adjusted to PPFD level of 700. The light schedule is 18/6, so the DLI is about 45, which is the recommended maximum for autoflowers. I will keep my eyes on her, how is she will react.
