Week 5 Veg Report: SCROG Netting, Massive Leafs & Precise Data Mastery! 🌱 Girls Growing Stronger Than Ever! 🌱 This week has been truly epic in the grow room—so much so that it’s time to bring in the SCROG net! With the canopy expanding and the younger ones still working to catch up, the SCROG net will help me achieve that perfect, even canopy. A well-placed SCROG not only ensures better light penetration but also gives the smaller plants a chance to spread out and thrive alongside their bigger sisters. Now, let’s dive deep into the SCROG method. The Screen of Green (SCROG) technique is a grower’s secret weapon for maximizing space, light efficiency, and yields. The concept is simple but powerful—train the plants to grow horizontally along the net, forcing them to expose multiple budding sites instead of just a single cola. This way, the canopy spreads evenly, improving light distribution and air circulation throughout the tent. As the plants grow, I’ll gently weave their branches through the screen, ensuring they fill every square inch of space. The end goal? A sea of buds all basking in equal light! 💪 Huge Leafs Everywhere! 🌿 One thing that’s really catching my eye this week is the size of the leaves—they’re HUGE! Honestly, they’re so big I couldn’t resist a little fun, so I made myself some fashion accessories: leaf earrings and a cap from the Super Sativa Seed Club Green Papaya! 😂 And, of course, I captured the moment. But seriously, large leaves at this stage are a great sign of healthy, robust plants. These “solar panels” are hard at work soaking up all the light, driving photosynthesis, and fueling growth. Exactly what we want! 💧 Precision Feeding with Aptus Nutrients 💧 This week, I took a deep dive into my Aptus nutrient lineup and shared a video explaining how each product affects the water’s pH and TDS. Using the AMP-3 Precision Meter, I’m getting real-time water readings and keeping everything dialed in perfectly. Let’s break it down: • pH: 5.83 • TDS in solution: 445 ppm • Water temperature: 25.2°C The Aptus products are incredible for balancing nutrients without throwing off the pH or TDS too much. I’m fine-tuning my feedings based on these readings to make sure the girls are getting exactly what they need. I can do it all through the TM+ Pro app, even while I’m lounging in my green papaya leaf hat! 😆 Whether I’m checking the CO2 levels, adjusting the lights, or fine-tuning the humidity, it’s all in my hands with just a tap of my phone. Talk about convenience! 🌱 P.S. – Inline Sensors: Heavy-Duty Precision 🌱 Now, let’s talk about the heavy-duty players in this game—the (PCT-2) Heavy Duty Inline EC/Temp Sensor and the (PPH-2) Heavy Duty Inline pH Sensor. These bad boys are connected directly to the AMP-3 Precision Meter, and they’ve been absolutely crucial in giving me the most accurate readings on my water and nutrient solution. The PCT-2 keeps me informed about the electrical conductivity and temperature of my solution, which is key for monitoring how well my plants are absorbing nutrients. Too high or too low, and we’re asking for trouble, but this sensor ensures I’m always in that perfect range. The PPH-2, on the other hand, is all about maintaining the perfect pH balance. A fluctuating pH can mean nutrient lockout or deficiencies, but thanks to this sensor, I get a constant read on my pH levels, so the plants are always in their sweet spot for optimal nutrient absorption. Last week plants grew very healthy, as they got bushier the humidty raised providing a better enviroment, I could even reduce the amount of water I give them. Planning to move to flowering stage very soon.

So I think this is the week where I started to go a bit wrong. The Dr Earth I added on week 4 fixed my nutrient problem, however, I was impatient and added a bit more. As a result, I had 2-3 crispy, yellow leaves on the Quarter Pounder in the middle. Since then, I've upped my watering a bit and it seems to be fine. This week * Lights still at 15" * Giving about a gallon of water every other day, each. At this stage, I get barely any runoff, but stop when runoff is consistent. * Top dressed w/ more FFOF with some myco mixed in. See video for a better view of the nute burn.

Vegetative Woche 3: Tag 29 gab es das erste LST nach dem Umtopfen für die Ladys, damit sie das Zelt bald schön ausfüllen zu viert 😊 Hierfür einfach bodenhaken für die Triebe und am Hauptstamm nutze ich gerne die roten Clips. Tag 30+31 gab es nichts besonderes zu tun 😊 Tag 32 wurde das erste Mal gegossen nach dem Umtopfen mit 2l ph 6.2 Wasser mit 0,8g/l Enhancer, das Wasser habe ich zum ersten Mal mit meiner neuen Akkugießlanze verteilt und ich hoffe so noch gleichmäßiger gießen zu können 😊 Tag 33 wurden wieder mit LST gearbeitet und die Triebe mit den Bodenhaken weiter nach außen gebogen, damit ich möglichst bald ein relativ gleichmäßiges Blätterdach habe welches die gesamte Grundfläche des Zeltes ausfüllt. Tag 34 war wieder Ruhetag Tag 35 wurde wieder gegossen und zwar wieder mit 2l pro Pflanze mit ph Wert von 6.2 und 1ml/l Calmag und auch hier wurde zum Gießen di Akkulanze verwendet. Hey guys so been a busy few weeks for me but final have a bit me time to sort the ladies . All looking good my 2 lemon ak are right into pre flower now looks like 2 slight different phenos small one is pungent and dense and other is a beast start fill out nicely . Is a little cramped in there moment with my 2 photo strains - the remo is a monster she be topped twice so far and going to do some super crop this week get her controlled . The blueberry ghost og is looking fantanstic repot 5 days ago into 1 gallon til my auto fin up . All looking good and will try update within a week . Peace out 👌

Day 21 video and screenshots from the video. Final bit of supercropping, one branch in particular super cropped on 3 internodals to keep it from physical light touch. Day 22 started to collect pollen Day24 2nd day of pollination. I see successful pollination. So I’m happy about that. Pollination is 4-6 days earlier than last time so hopefully chop week 9 but 10 is the limit.

Made some bubble hash with bubble bag dudes hash bags! First attempt at ever doing this all these photos are in order of bag pulls! Followed all instructions mixed for 30 mins and let sit for 30 mins in between! Will let sit for 7 days on cardboard and in the herbnow dryer! The bucket used is sitting and i will sift that water aswell not letting that go to waste.! Those photos up soon with weigh ins!

Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , she is well into pre flower now but the stretch has not yet started so I figured it's no or never too defoliate and tigh them down , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)
