Week 16 - Day 103 08/16: Harvested Aaliyah on 08/15, Day 102 from soil and Day of flowering. After one week of pure water for Aaliyah, some of the trichomes have turned amber. I decided to harvest about 3/4 of the plant. Some of the lower buds didn’t receive enough light during the grow, so I’m hoping they can grow a little more before I bring the whole plant down. I also removed some of the dead and very young growth that was coming up. I didn’t have another spot to hang the buds because of the smell, so I tied them over the other plants. Now that she is mostly harvested, the smell has increased. I now have Annie on the side so she is getting less direct light. She already took some bleaching on her main colas. Alexis still has about a week left. I’ll check her trichomes before the next watering to see if I should start flushing. 08/18: Aaliyah’s harvested buds were getting close to being dry, so I decided to start cleaning up some of the sugar leaves. The smaller, less developed buds got chopped up and set aside for some dry ice hash. Since she was on the left side of the tent, a lot of her colas did not receive enough direct light. I hung up a few of the nicer looking ones that I’m keeping as flower to finish drying. [General notes: I still don’t have a scale to take note of the exact wet weight, but I’ll make sure to have one for the dry weight. And since all three plants are of the same strain, I’m going to wait till the last one is chopped up before posting the full harvesting results.]

Plant is 6 weeks from seed tomorrow, I have upped nutes to 3ml per litre of both A +B Canna coco nutrients for a couple of waterings but she's soon started showing nute burn again so i've lowered to 2.75ml . Stretch has slowed right down and I'm hoping will stop very soon

2/3 plants doing good. 1 plant however has a calcium defficiency showing as orange spots on 2 of the fan leaves.i have added 2 ml of cal mag in with their new nutrient feeds to help offset. I have been watering normally without nutes for the first 3-4 weeks. The defficiency has resulted from me using soft tap water which contains very little calcium. Since adding, no new spots have appeared so fingers crossed Only using half reccomended dose of nutrients at this point to ease them In to feeding

Day 35 Flowering: A great week for the ladies this week with their hunger outweighing the living soils capacity.!! I noticed the leaves were starting to fade out a little over the last week or so . I have experience of this from the last 2 crops with the living organic soil. It does seem that even 60L of soil with amendments is not enough to power through the whole cycle when I grow them bigger. This has now meant I can use the amazing MegaCrop again but as a support to the L.O.S . The herd and rootzone will happily work with MC and have no negative affect on the life there. I plan to push them on the feeds to give them a boost for the last couple of weeks growth to come. The FFT#9 and #10 are both pumping power into bud production nownwithbsome beautiful looking colas on the pair of them. FFT#9 Has spread her budstacks out quite well but did need a little supercropping on the side under the sp250 to stop her hitting the light and get her length some full spectrum too. She has a fuel , sweet smell in effect now and stinks my loft space out too. The shape and size of her buds is excellent. Each one is a chunky ,solid and packed stack of tightly squeezed in pistils and she is not stopping yet it seems. A beauty to work with so far. FFT#10 Her week has been bustly with the amount of effort she has packed into her tight hairy bud stacks. She is a wide lady too. Her dark colour is a warning of her potency I hope.... She has some very long , leafy colas compared to the FFT#9 but her trich production will see them put to good use in hash from the trimmed harvest. She smells really strong of sherbet when agitated or hungry so I wonder what her genetics were from amd cannotnwsit to find out all of these FTT mystery strains. not a bad one among them so far and I don't think there will any dissatisfaction from these girls either. 09/03: Im pleased with their progress this week. They did indeed start growing nicely after their slow recovery adjusting to the removal of the humidity domes. I have my light at 60% and still about 18 inches away. My humidifier is never getting the humidity pas 59 when i want it to be in the mid 60s. And so i ordered the big AC Infinity humidifier and hoping it will do a better job. I was low of my typical nutrients and so i decided to try something new and bought an Advanced Nutrients stack. Going with the three part and B-52 and will mix in Big Bud, Overdrive, and Bud Candy later in the grow. Excited to see how this works out as i have seen a lot of great grows on here with these nutrients. I am just following their feeding chart recommendations until I dial in what i like. I plan to transplant them to their large 7 gallon auto pots sometime this week. Maybe as soon as tomorrow. 09/05: Transplant day! Today I transplanted them to their final 6.9 gallon pots. They all had great root systems that had not reached a root lock yet. I added some dynomyco to the transplant holes to help with root production. I will continue to water from the top for about a week before turning on the autopot drip system. 09/08: Decided to do an aggressive topping today, this was done at the 2nd to 3rd node, depending on the plant. I have not yet decided how i want to train them, but this will leave me with options while i decide over the next week. I know it looks like i took down half the plant, but trust me, we good. I may actually go with a form of main-lining that ive wanted to do for a couple years now.

Last week just water, two small flushes, to clean the soil a little, but nothing excessive. 7 days drying, dark, well-ventilated environment, without direct wind. And now cure for at least a month, trying a little each week. I killed her when she was 93 days old, with 12 hours of light from the beginning, it seemed automatic. Because she is almost or completely sativa, perhaps another 2 weeks could be good for her, but I wanted a cultivation period of around 3 months, which was cool, but I believe that for a 90-day cultivation period, it is better to use some hybrid or indicates, as they develop faster. Sativas are aggressive in their expansionism and slow in flowering. Leaves and branches saved for later extraction, probably ice hash.

This strain of Kings kush is a smelly one, I still can put my finger on the terp profile yet. Almost a kushy herby dank is all I can describe atm. Growing these plants, I would suggest pruning every second node once you get her into flower since the bugs tend to push up against each other and may cause bud rot. Say ontop of defoliation and try to qork on them on a daily basis rather than lolipoping. Another key thing is to keep rH in range during flower, I will recomend to set it to 40-50rh in flower. Also if you are growing outdoors, Be sure to cover them up during rain when in flowering, I uses a transparent tarp for the last 5 weeks of flower. Save my plants from 9 huge rain events during the last 5 weeks, my plants would of died from br. This strain had some decent cold resistance also! She stay alive with with few events of temps getting down to 4 deg c.

Amazing week buds have grown loads both plant really top heavy both smell amazing and look beautiful!!

July 5 Day 22: starting fourth week looking okay. I need to remember to not over-fertilize this auto. So far so good. July 9: above 32 C last two days. Spraying grow bag with hose water and foliar spray with seaweed extract and potassium silicate to help beat the heat. Watered with a bit of compost tea. July 10: still hot but we’re past the peak of the heat wave now. Chemdawg seems to be doing alright.

Not too too much to report... Kind of on Auto Pilot really until the end... The broken top is FINE, and it's looking GREAT man!! I'm sure we're going to get a solid yield... :)
