Gelato strains have become legendary since the original Gelato debuted in the 2010s. Fast Buds’ Gelato Auto contains the same classic cannabis appeal in a fast flowering form of around 70 days. This potent hybrid with 26% THC, sweet and creamy tropical taste, and powerfully energetic and creative high was one of the top three extraction winners at the 2020 Spannabis Cup. Challenging to grow, precise attention to temperature and humidity is necessary, and needs adequate airflow to prevent mold and mildew. A carbon filter is recommended, as she’s notoriously stinky. Plants are small to medium with a bushy indica-like structure, and light defoliation can help encourage growth in lower branches. Low stress training (LST) will help achieve max yields. Topping and FIMing can encourage bushier plants with more bud sites — just remember autoflowers have limited veg time and will need to recover before flower. Plants should be flushed 10 days before harvest for best results. Gelato Auto yields up to 300g/m2 of super sticky, bright green buds drenched in sparkly trichome crystals with a potent, almost psychedelic high.

Insgesamt ein echt guter Grow . Mit dem bis vor kurzem eingesetzten Licht war zu erwarten , das keine Riesen-Pflanze wächst . Dafür bin ich sehr zufrieden , denn trotz der Köpfung , die das Blümchen sich beim LST selbst verpasst hat , ist doch einiges an Blüten gekommen .
Nach einigen Wochen im Glas kann ich nur sagen schmeckt und ist nice . Werde ich definitiv mit verbessertem Setup nochmals growen

Wonderful genetics!
i harvested the plant 2 days after flushing, total weight is 800g wet including branches.
I managed to keep all branches on same height, so all buds are looking same and they are veery heavy.
Smells amazing and buds are looking shiny.

Last oneGelato Three pack. All of them came out in slightly diffrent look and smell with this pheno i had balanced Grow She was middle size. Slightly issues in begining of flowering but it was expected. Overall very fine Grow.
Harvest
She wasn't most smelly one. Nethiee most terpy but i hold her to get as much amber possible up tp 100 days. Dried whole plant as is and it came out super B.
Smoke
I didnt expect anything wow as that factor was collected by her previously harvested sisters. Still she was most mature at harvest and give bit more of couch lock high compare to the others
Smoke was smooth in this case balanced taste of sweetnes and earthiness.

The lowest of the three Fast Buds trio this year.
Unfortunately I used plastic pots for this one and the the roots clogged at some point. It still worked out okay but I'm sure the yield would have been higher if I'd stuck to traditional fabric pots. The difference between plastic/fabric is immense - as I've come to learn this year. On the other hand, the buds do look beautiful :)

She went mad. Very nice pheno. Even with issues with Nitrogen she ended superb. Because of my attempt to gix Nitrogen issue and over feed when my EC probe broke I ended up with too high EC in soil which made me bit sad.
A lot of bud but i know it could taste better. (Compare to pheno B)
Harvest
After 94 days from Sprout she give me back 62g. More than 2oz without any training techniques. Smell was very sweet when i trim her still I could tell a massive diffrence in quality to 4x smaller pheno B.
Smoke
Not that smooth nethier tasty as her sister. Still above average smoke quality. White ash. Grind nicly to a powder. Personally I like it slightly better due to not being so sweet more earthy. As im not big fan of most of candy flavours. With this strain i had few occasions of insomnia and rised social anxiety.

She were smallest from begining.
Soil waa definitely to hot but created covered with trichomes potent plant.
It did made me to do additional flush. End at last feed they get way too much Fertilizers as my EC meter probe stuck in 2x less range. Needed replacement after year of using.
Harvest
Smell was amazing. Very like trip to ice cream shop. Candy and vanilla/cream ice creams scent. Not a lot of trouble with harvest. As she end up only with18.73g and couple g of trim.
Smoke
Oh she's smokes. Smell when grind up propobly tripple a strength. Some one said it smells like Benn & Jerry Cookie Dough. Strong high with few hits and stick you to a couch. High from other hand not that much indica dominant. I felt some times stressed or anxious on this plant. Teste wise she wasnt harsh nethier smooth with all that sweetness im nearly sure candy flavours arent my thing.

This strain proved to be a dream for a novice grower like myself. Despite my inexperience, it presented minimal challenges, making the cultivation process surprisingly enjoyable. While I haven't been able to weigh the yield yet (it's currently drying), it appears quite respectable. The aroma is particularly noteworthy - a delightful sweetness, almost reminiscent of ice cream. Though bud size could be improved, their density is impressive - think golf balls. I suspect my low-wattage lighting is the culprit here, not the strain's potential. I'll provide a yield update once the drying process is complete.
