@Cannibalgardens, I simply found the lowest branches with about 4-5 inches of growth, snipped em, trimmed em, and threw em in a bottle of 20 oz. water with a mix of a half teaspoon or so of rooting hormone. Kept them under LED 600watt lighting with a temp of 95 and Rh of also 90 ish. Hairlike roots within 3 days and are now in soil all within a week. Also, made sure to oxygenate the bottle every day by stirring with a spoon or screw. Just posted pics of the cuttings. Let m know how they look. Cheers.
Also, I can't seem to remove the question about cuttings. I'd like to ask more but it's allowing me one only. Anyway, Let me know how the tops look and what areas need pruning!
@MaryJaneUSA, Striving. The sun has been battering them for 3 weeks now and at times temps were slightly above a 100 with a real feel of about 112 at one day. Leaves curled up slightly and that's when I made sure to water them properly. Luckily night time temps drop about 15 to 20 degrees which I guess helps.
@DILLIGAF, I didn't. Kinda nervous about taking my first cutting I guess ... and I'm waiting for something that's a little over 8 inches. Next week for sure. I'm gonna try 3 methods for cloning, only water, Jiffy pellets, and just plain soil. Pellets and soil I'll be using rooting hormones and a bit of honey. So yes, you provided solutions and a vast amount of knoweldge. Appreciate the help dude. Stay tuned!
