Hope you don't mind, but I wanted to help explain why you would likely get low yields if you start outdoors now. Photoperiod plants will sense the fading daylight hours (since we're past the summer solstice) and try to head to flowering as fast as they can. They will be ready to harvest in about 90 days from now. This is similar to starting seeds in a 12 / 12 light cycle to force flowering as quickly as possible. This creates small stick plants. If you supplement daylight hours under a grow light and keep it above 16 hours, then you can get the plant to grow in a vegetative state (if you did this for July your yield might improve, but not sure how much). It would be a lot of work to drag your plant back and forth, but it is possible to extend your grow season here by a month. However, you would need to watch DLI provided by the sun as it will get lower into Oct/Nov, so you may be stuck supplemening with a grow light again (keeping hours below 14 to flower, but adding stronger light by the grow light in morning and evening to give enough light to make good buds). Hope this helps, and here's an article on growing from 12 / 12: www.growweedeasy.com/12-12-from-seed-cannabis
