From the shape of the leaves you can understand that propably is an indica dominant strain, hybrid most likely so some sativas genetics are there. I would say that is a light distance issue, that led to long internodal distance. That does not affect plants health of course, it looks great although the yield will be smaller. Is 3rd week in flower, is indica dominant strain and is auto so i think is late to take any actions. Give this beauty more light and let her do her best. Good luck!

You've got 4-5" betwen the nodes near the top, so the primary reason it stretched so much is it's on the weak-side for light. Is that 7 nodes? should probably closer to 12" tall give or take. So, light is certainly a factor in this stretch which will exaggerate the typical 2-3x anecdote.

The 2-3x growth is a dumbed-down concept because people struggle with a spectrum and prefer a more binary context. your pot will likely limit the size if nothing else does. Maynot get the normal 4-5 weeks of vege after a marijuana plant goes into flower. If it is soilless, can grow a larger plant in a smaller pot compared to soil, all other factors the same. if it's soil, it may not have much vege growth left even if it potentially could grow larger in a better context. It'd be easier to give an estimate of remaining vege growth if you know about when the preflowers became noticable at the nodes. Flower probably intiiated 7 days before that point depending on how keen your eyes are at noticing the preflowers. You'll usually have 4-5 weeks of strong vege growth and taper off. you've been watching it each day, so estimating growth per time left is not so mysterious.

That is an incredible amount of stretch! Going from 5 inches to 29 inches in 21 days (a 5.8x increase) is definitely on the extreme side, especially for a strain that is supposed to be Indica-leaning. Here is a breakdown of what the search results suggest about your situation with Georgia Cream and the extreme stretch: 1. Georgia Cream Genetics: Indica-Leaning * The Cultivar: Georgia Cream is generally reported as an Indica-dominant hybrid, typically around 60% Indica / 40% Sativa (often crossed from Georgia Cry x Cap Junky). * Expected Stretch: Indica-dominant strains are usually expected to have a less aggressive stretch during the first few weeks of flower, perhaps 50% to 100% (1x to 2x) of their pre-flower height, though some can go a bit higher. * The Discrepancy: Your stretch of nearly 6x is a classic characteristic of an extremely Sativa-dominant plant or an environmental issue. 2. 🌲 Can the Family Tree Be Trusted? * It's possible, but complicated. Even with a reputable breeder, there are several reasons for the Sativa-like behavior: * Phenotype Variation: Cannabis strains are not all identical. You may have found a very rare Sativa-dominant phenotype (or "pheno") that expresses the Sativa traits from the 40% Sativa lineage very strongly. * Mislabeling/Error: There is always a chance of a mix-up with the seeds or clones, though less likely from a reliable source. 3. 💡 Environmental Factors Causing Extreme Stretch The extreme stretch is often a strong indicator of environmental problems that encourage the plant to reach for resources, primarily light. This is the most likely cause of a 6x stretch: * Insufficient or Distant Light: This is the number one cause of excessive stretching. * Issue: If your light is too weak or hung too far away from the canopy, the plant senses it's not getting enough energy and initiates a massive stretch to try and get closer to the light source. * What it does: It creates long, lanky stems with large spaces between the bud sites (internodal distance), which is what you are describing. * Temperature: High temperatures can accelerate growth and stretching. * Overcrowding: If plants are too close, they compete for light by stretching upwards. 4. 🛠️ What to Do NOW At 2 days away from 3 weeks into flower, the stretch is likely nearing its end, but you need to take action to manage the height and secure your yield: * Check Your Light: * Intensity: Increase the intensity (if possible) or lower your light to the recommended distance for your specific fixture (LED, HPS, etc.). You need to give the plant a blast of strong light to signal it to stop stretching. * Training & Height Management (ASAP): * Super Cropping/Bending: Gently but firmly bend the main colas over horizontally. This breaks internal fibers and helps redirect energy without fully snapping the stem. This will immediately lower the canopy height. * Trellising/Tying Down (SCROG/LST): Use stakes, netting, or soft ties to pull the tallest branches down and out to create a more even canopy. You want to get all tops at a similar height to maximize light coverage.

Hey there it looks like you will wind up with a nice little plant… i would say most family trees of plants genetics online are fairy accurate now days. Also the percentage the amount a plant multiplys itself is really dependent on how long you let the plant grow b4 you flip it to flower. Like yes sometimes plants genetics grow a lot more than others but you can’t say a plant y will always 6x its height b4 flower. For example some plants if you sog them and flip them really early when there like 20 inch’s in tall most plants will not get more than 3x there height but when you grow larger plants and even giant outdoor plants sometimes they will grow huge and get up to 6x the height was b4 flipping to flower

The space between the nodes is massive. looks more like a inadequate lighting issue then the plats stretching. but 5inches tall is a small plant to flip into flower. It also does not matter when you flipped to 12/12 if the plant was not mature it will not enter flower. Its why you can grow photos from seed to harvest on 12/12 and they don't go into bloom as soon as they pop the soil line as they have to first mature. Other then that the plant looks quite healthy so a+ on that. P.S. Don't need to type is all caps for eveything.

going from 5 to 29 inches in under 3 weeks is serious sativa behavior, even if the genetics are supposed to lean indica. Sometimes certain phenos express more sativa traits especially if the parent line isn’t super stable. Looks healthy and vigorous though, she’s got that classic hybrid look. I’d just control the canopy and let her do her thing
