With a 60x52x104 cm grow box and one Spider Farmer SF1000D LED for 2 autoflowers, what is the optimal DLI for germination, vegetative, and flowering stages? What height should the light be? How to position plants and a 9-speed USB fan for ideal airflow and growth?

Hi dude. I have a similar setup. 2x2x5 tent with an SF1000D. I suggest you download an app on your phone or tablet called Photone. This will measure PPFD, a value that tells you how much light your plants receive. If you check the par map for the SF1000D it will tell you the PPFD value at certain hanging distances. https://spiderfarmer.co.uk/products/sf1000d-led-grow-light/ Scroll down a little and you will find the par maps for 24inch/18inch and 12 inches. If you want as accurate a value as possible you must use a small piece of paper over your phone camera lens and calibrate the app to the given PPFD value on the par map. It sounds like a ball ache but it not that hard once you get used to it and it will help you get a better idea of the right amount of light your plants should receive over the different stages of growth. As a rule of thumb, the PPFD values for the stages are as follows. Seedlings 250 to 400 PPFD. Veg 400 to 600 PPFD Early/Mid Flower 600 to 800 PPFD Late flower 800 to 1000 PPFD As far as DLI goes I have aimed at 30 to 40 DLI for my autos. Airflow is best directed away from your plants but enough that they have a little movement in them. By using the app I have described you should be able to get a good idea where your plants are best positioned and how high to hang your light for the various stages. I have only been growing from the start of the year but I have learned a lot in terms of making the best use of the space and equipment I have. For instance I have added a Mars Hydro TS600 light along with the SF100D and have had amazing results with flowering photoperiod plants and have recently started my first ever auto grow and the plants love the extra light and are flying up. I know its a long winded answer to a simple question but time spent on dialing in your enviroment from the beggining will save you much time and or trouble down the line. Hope this has helped a little, if ya need any futher help the guys here are great and have a lot of knowledge that you can share in. Happy growing man.

https://www.waveformlighting.com/horticulture/daily-light-integral-dli-calculator You will need to reference the PPFD maps from spider farmer for that light to get a ballpark DLI range. Cannabis can take a lot of DLI from a seed to an adult. Max is about 40. I always aim a bit below that. You can go over 40 but they need extra CO2 to utilize that extra energy or its just wasted and your cooking your plants. They have suggested DIM/hang heights for different stages of growth. Might be best option for a simple way vs all the math and stuff above.
