install top feed ore not? is it worth it?

Just top water. It don't take much. Roots usually hit solution in first week anyway.

I always just top water until the roots reach the water. I have the water ready with an EC between 0.2 and 0.4 (that includes some root stimulator - I use Rapid Start) and pH'd to 5.8 - that way it's ready and waiting when the roots DO get to the water... You can draw a little water out of the reservoir twice a day to top water with if you want... Good luck! I love DWC!!! Won't grow in soil ever again!

Most important to keep the water level at the proper level, just under the net with some good bubbling to keep the clay wet. When babies, you will want to keep your rock wool moist so a little water from the top until you see the roots reaching out and down to the water. Feed levels and ph levels from day 1 can be found in some of my diaries. Soiless but the same as hydroponics
