Yes, the oldest pistils start turning brown quite early in some strains and is not necessarily a sign of pollination.
If pollinated, all the pistils turn brown at the same time, - that is, all the pistils in the same area that were pollinated at the same time.
If it is just the isolated pistil like in your pictures, I doubt any pollination has occurred.

Not necessarily pollen, more likely something else. Wouldn’t sweat it. It’ll be obvious in 2 weeks or so when the bracts show seeds

Ever seen a plant like this?2 Northern Light auto in the tent, first 2 buds are from plant A which is “normal”, the other ones a from plant B. Calyxes are distributed along stems and almost no sugar leaves, and actual leaves look mutated. Stress? Genetic? Pheno? Mutation?
