Best LEDs or small HID to replace 1000W dimmable HID for small space

I'm using a 1000w HID setup I had from before, running at 50% in a cool tube. It's loud and not efficient. Maybe it's time I switch to LEDs or a 250 HID. I don't want to sacrifice bud quality but I'm low on funds. Any recommendations for a good light that will fill this space?

Being in a dwc bucket you will want a detachable driver. Mars lights have high output vs quantum boards. I have used both. I have only used ts series though for Mars. Detachable diver allows you to remove the heat it produces in grow space. Help keep dwc cooler. Can also line your bucket with reflective mylar if temps in bucket are getting too warm. Good luck

If your going to go cheap LED I'd suggest one with cree cob lights. My 1200w Growstar (250w actual) can grow about a half pound. It will also produce less heat than the HID. Otherwise if I could afford, I'd go with a more expensive LED.

I would go for a 250watt HID over a cheap LED if my budget allowed.

How wide is your space and what is your budget? I just picked up a Mars Hydro SP3000 for three ten on sale using the code CALIGREEN. It's 42.5" (108cm), and works perfectly for a 4x2. Dr MJ Coco (youtube) has the review that sold me on it, and he said it was a bargain at four hundred.

I’d recommend a spider farmer SF2000, or similar quantum board style LED. Go for a name brand driver like mean well and top bin diodes like Samsung’s LM301H or LM301B. The SF2000 covers a 2x4 size area perfectly. They’re around 0 on Amazon at the moment.

Hello fellow growers :D thx a lot Firstly, is the reason why my plants (especially cookies) are very slightly curling/folding at the ends of the leaves because the LED is too powerful?(Reason to be worried?) Secondly, should I start adding nutrients? Just 1/4 of Bio-grow for now?
