Roots poking up near stem.

I have noticed what seem to be roots poking up through the substrate really close to the stem. Is this normal or should I be worried?

They are just reaching for moisture, nothing to worry about. Once they get established anything above soil will harden up.

Seedling with mold in drainage Holes :(Hello, Im starting my seedlings and just noticed some white fuzzy mold on the drainage holes of the pot (probably because overwattering). Wa This is what your roots should look like if your growing hydroponics in DWC or RDWC, if you do it properly. I found it to be a lot of work even with the chiller, cleaning the buckets out once every week or 2. Any products available now to keep things clean? Without harming plants
