PHI messed up & forgot to PH balance my water before using it. It was 9.4 before I mixed in molasses & formulex. I put 1 gallon in each pot. I realized right after I did that, that I forgot. I tried to fix it by adding a 1/2 gal. To each of just plain 6.1 ph water. What now tho ??

Root Knot Nematode? Larvae? I think it killed this seedling.I found some type of critter crawling around what was left of the root of a dead seedling. Leaves point down/slow growth/ maybe rootbound or root rot? Did I fuck up transplanting too soon?I'm on the 3 week of the grow. The leaves started pointing down and they are growing very slowly. Since I have seen the roots on the bottom of the vase early on I thought the problem was rootbound so I transplanted them. But they are very small. Did I do wrong? Signs of root rot?

Why should the tap root grow for some days before potting?Not a problem, but I'm eager to learn: Most tutorials recommend to let the tap root grow to about 2.5 cm before potting. Does anybody have a rationale for that? To me this sounds counter-productive (light protection for roots, correct orientation of seed). What am I missing?Week 1
