Can the color of your nutrients cause the roots to be dyed. My MicroGro nutrient is dark red and the older roots are colored a light red. More roots continue to grow and the roots which haven't started touching the water in my hydro system are still bright white (see photo).

Nutrient can color your root, but if they are "glued" together and slimy you have root rot :/ ( i had this during stretch phase and it wasn't fun T.T ) if you still see small roots which are growing all allong the main root, it's OK they're still healthy,

yeah man , it's annoying but that's how it is, just gonna make it harder for you to spot which roots need to be prunned + which roots are healthy, probably wont affect overall health... might be able to reduce the staining with more hydroguard, but dont quote me on that.

Yes they do get dyed. As long as they are not slimy, they are ok. The slime would be a sign of root rot.
