@m0use, I find GD app/website not practical to hold contests. There is no system. Even with the meme contest, you have to add that meme to your plant diary which has actually nothing to do with it. There is also no feedback with this 9000 contest. It's like we'll pick something and get done with it.

@izzy89, Yea the platform has its limitations and defects especially in the contests parts but it is still not a bad spot for it all. one big thing is to not let GD team pick the winners and have a third party, its a massive marketing tool, so the more you market yourself the more your likely to win as chances are you will showcase off the products you won and free marketing is good for them. I have yet to find anywhere else that has the user base and networking options with multiple brands all in one place like growdiaries has... One could be made with some work and it would trump this platform but I don't think a lot of people want to do that, high risk low reward. Canna industry as a whole is sketchy at best and outright crooks/scammers at worst. fuck the meme contest. so dumb, key to wining it, spam it like crazy and you will get top 3 for three months in a row. go look at the winners last few months its not a bad cash grab. They need same rule as GOTM, once every 3 months, only from established profiles. to much spam n trolls.
