Californian Snow

Ueeeda This is our second time grow, and our first autoflower growing experience. We’ve chosen a sativa strain with high thc, hope that we can harvest some beautiful flowers. First week summery - 15/08/20 We seeded 2 seeds in rockwool cubes. The cubes have been soaked in regular tap water and they need to be constantly wet. After seeding, we keep the cubes into a fresh-keeping bag and put the bag in the closet in the dark. - 17/08/20 Both seeds have sprouted. We put the bag into grow box and started 18/6 blue light schedule. - 20/08/20 Germination went well, they both grow a little bit taller and their roots started to stretch out from the bottom of rockwool cubes. We’ve transplanted both of them in our hydro system and switch the light to 20/4. And for the nutrients in water reservoir, we started with 1/8 of recommend dose.

Ueeeda This is the second week, the weather is really hot, very difficult to keep down temperature in the box and in the reservoir. Both plants are growing well, and the roots are stretching out more. We didn’t change water in the reservoir, just added small amount of nutrients on half of the week maintaining EC around 0.6~0.7 like the first week. It is still 1/8 of recommend dose.

Ueeeda The third week is comming and the plants are growing amazingly. Third week is definitely an outbreak for the growth of these two. They are all super healthy with beautiful leaves and snow white roots. This week we changed water reservoir, and increased nutrients to 1/4 of the recommended dose. And we started to do first LST on both plants. -03/09/2020 Added 3ml of ph- to keep down the ph around 5.8

Ueeeda This is the fourth week. They are both super healthy with beautiful new leaves come out everyday. Also the roots are going well. This week’s nutrition is raised up to 1/2 of the recommend dose. We are doing some LST to try to open them more, they now look like two tiny bushes. Their height remain pretty much the same as last week, we are happy they are not stretching too much tall because we’d like to keep them short for now.

Ueeeda Week 5! Almost half way! The plants look amazing, their roots also look amazing. This week they stretch out a lot, and they start to show the sigh of flowering. This week’s magic potion is mixed with 1/8 of vegeterian nutrients and 1/4 of flowering nutrients. Also some boost for roots since we are preparing for flowering. Light schedule is always the same but now red light is also on. I do have a question, they are becoming really bushy, should I do some defoliation on this point?

Ueeeda They are growing and stretching incredibly fast on Week 6, and they start to flowering. Everyday I open the box I see them've grown taller, and there are tons of huge huge leaves jump out everyday. So we clean out 15~30 leaves that block light every 2 or 3 days. And we keep bending branches doing LST so that more flowers can get lights. From the above we can see that we basically have a screen of green. Next week we are gonna put the nets on to train them better. This week we start with flowering stage nutrients, and the dose is still 1/2 of the recommended dose. Luckily autumn is coming, temps are cooler and that would be great for flower.

Ueeeda Plants are still growing, they gain 8-10cm Defoliation at the beginning of the week Roots are healthy and strong Plants are consuming a lot of water, 25-30 liters of water

Ueeeda This is 8th week, they are growing super fast. They became almost 1 meter tall. And in our small grow box, they have reached nearly at the top. Also their leaves grew like crazy, we took out lot of leaves small ranches every 2 or 3 days. Although growing under the exact same circumstance, one of them seems to grow faster than the other. But the slower one has these tall strong branches. Looking forward to the next weeks to see how they gonna turn out.
