Mike62g I’m saying this is week 1 , because I was lucky enough to get a few of these beautiful heavyweight fruit punch clones from my friend , plants are currently just short of 12 inches tall,
All starting to show roots under the nets
Cheers

Mike62g Week 3 in veg , plants are starting to really take off , height of 15 inches ,
Using foliage spray from Optic Foliar and the plants are reacting well to it ! No leaf burn at all
Cheers
Mike62g Would have liked to start this diary earlier but better late than not at all , I’m growing 10 Heavyweight Fruit Punch in a 12 pot ( 60 gallon) RDWC system w/water chiller
, under identical 1000w DE lamps in 8” hood style reflectors ,
Getting ready to kick these to flower tommorow , this is my second time growing fruit punch and I decided to top 9 of them this time and will do some training with nets during the stretch , looking forward to adding some more pictures next week, cheers .

Mike62g Left these girls in the dark for 36 hours straight to give them a kick start into flower , added my nets this week as well so I can start training them during these first few weeks of stretch , also from this point on words I will be adding GH koolbloom at 1ml per gallon and will increase dosage gradually to 5ml per gallon .
Also I’ve been experimenting with foliage spray from optic foliar and I can’t say anything but good things from this spray, I’ve been using Transport,Rev,Watt and ATAK and I’ve been having good ,consistent results with no leaf burn at all. Highly recommend trying them out !
Until next week ,
cheers
Mike62g Just finished week 2 of flower ,
Starting this week with a fresh water change , added Advanced Nutrients Big Bud and Nirvana to the mix and stopped using Tarantula and Super thrive . All plants are starting to bud so I’m hoping the stretch is near done , hoping to maintain all plants around net height . Hopefully I’ll have some good bud pictures next week , Cheers
Mike62g Week 3 of flower clued up today , this week I added 4 TnB Natural Co2 Bottles to the tent in order to raise ppm levels to above normal levels , I’ve found these bottles pretty beneficial in the past if you use a lot of them , planning on purchasing a co2 generator and controller in the months to come . All plants are starting to bud nicely , and than stretch as finally come to an end . Was trying to keep an even canopy as much as possible But found that the Armour Si I was running previously made the stalks so strong and non bendable that it became very difficult to bend stems down and under the net. Overall tho 95 percent of bud sights are in direct light ( removed several mid level fan leaves to allow light to penetrate the canopy better ) . Looking forward to updating next week hopefully with bigger buds. Cheers
Mike62g Week 4 from switch in the books , starting to really see some good bud production!
I wish my camera could capture all the bud below the top colas better , but unfortunately the lights are very bright at just over 2 feet above the main canopy ! Planning on taking some dark room pictures next week . This is the Last week of running Advanced Big Bud , finishing this grow off with Advanced Overdrive for a change of pace starting next week !
Until next week, Cheers
Mike62g Week 5 down , buds really starting to swell up and get big , started them all on advanced overdrive this week and also added botanicare cal-mag due to a small calcium deficiency.
Switched on the dehumidifier as well to start lowering my humidity into the 40’s . The smell in the tent is heaven now !😃 really starting to smell strong now , defiantly not a strain for the stealth grower if your not set up for it! Until next week ! Cheers
Mike62g Week 6 down ,
All bud is starting to really swell up and get bigger ! The smell is very strong now ! Thank god for mountain air carbon filters! Going to keep these girls on the nutes for one more week and than do a 10 day flush ! Wish I could get more detailed picture to show the volume of bud lower down but the its Hard to get the camera to capture it ,
All I’m saying is thank god for an auto trimmer at the end of this 😂. Until next week, cheers
Mike62g Trying out flawless finish on this grow , haven’t used a flushing product before in the past but I’ve heard good things . Planning to flush for 10 days , removed all nutrients water and added flawless finish with ph water for 6 hours and let circulate for 6 hours , than removed , added ph plain water to finish it off ! Some of my Top fan leaves started getting light burn and heat stress so Ive turned my lights down from 1050w to 600w to finish this grow off ! All buds are smelling and looking amazing, very hard and solid bud , even the popcorn bud are solid !
Mike62g Flush almost complete ! Plan to harvest on Saturday ( 4 days )
! Plant is really starting to yellow now , find this common when flushing for 10 plus days in DWC!
Can’t wait until harvest, these buds are rock hard and should be a great yield ! Cheers
It’s more of a day time strain, very strong head high, mild body high , great for outdoor activity!

Mike62g Great strain to grow ! I’ve grow them topped and not topped and topped is defiantly the way to go ! I personally found this strain to not like high ppm solutions , found 750-800ppm to be the most productive !
Really enjoyed doing this diary and will be doing another’s one shortly ! Cheers
I’ve grown this strain a few times now , and I’ve seen faster growth and better results with running a lower ph in Veg , but when flower comes around I always keep it at 6ph to make phosphorus more readily avalable . Anything between 5.5-6 I’m happy with because the volume of water I’m running can make it a challenge to keep the ph on an exact number , as much as I try everyday to keep it at 6
@Mike62g, have you tried silica as a ph-buffer? It should help you to stabilize your ph between 5 and 6. You solve it in a gallon of water and than add it into the nutrientsolution (if you try to solve it directly into the nutriensolution it can precipitate).
@Herigreen, I ran silica (armour si) in veg , but with my current set up I stop using it during the stretch to allow me to bend branches easier because I find the silca makes branches too stiff ,
As well it’s very alkaline which makes my nutrients solution require a ton of ph drop to bring my water levels to the appropriate ph . I always run silca in veg tho , makes for a strong plant .
Thank you for the advice , always appreciate it
@Mike62g, no worries, I'm traveling for a long time now and really enjoy watching like-minded people doing there thing! Good Job man looking forward to your results! Cheers!
Thanks !
I love this strain , grown it a few times now in a row , tried topping this bunch just To see the difference in yield , curious to see the end result
