Master Kush pheno hunt prt 1

416fireman So its go time on wave 1 of our Spliff seeds master kush pheno hunt. We want to do an extensive pheno hunt on this variety. It's one of my favorites and has stuck with me since the first inhale. We are starting it up with 5 beans for the first wave. Hope for 10 or more for the second wave. We shall see what the postman brings for us lol.(wanted to run 25 going into this project) These are regular beans, so we will have to weed out the males. Went with regular seeds for the pheno diversity. Hoping to find a wonderful unique gem. Something to add to my mother plant collection. U know a "keeper". Something that stands out amongst the crowd, and checks all the boxes i am seeking out of this cultivar. Let's see what we shall find. The grow kicks off with us misting our propagation dome. Elevating the rh up to 85%. Well the moisture level is rising we pre moistened our root plugs. Than increased the hole size of the plug a touch. We than sowed our seeds into the plugs holes. Than coverd the holes with a piece of the corner of the plug(we mulched up). Than we got our plugs into the humidity dome to marinate. It will likely be about 4 days before we see some action. 416fireman Day 1 So after just under three days 4 out of 5 are sprouted and in action. One still remains to surface herself... But I'm sure we will see her pretty cotlydons by the end of the day. We opened the vents to reduce the rh, and allow better fresh air exchange. We will give them till the end of the day to give us more to work with. Than we will get em potted into their 1 gallon pots of sunshine mix #4. Plus they will get situated into their new home, under the led panel. We will update as frequently as possible! Next one being after they are potted up. Until then happy growing and stay lit fam. Update**** So we got 4 potted up into 1 gallon square pots. We applied 500ml of water ph to 6.4. That will ride em out a few days atleast. We got them into their new tent and on to their first light cycle. Will picture them in the tent day 2 ! 1 still left to germ... will give it a peroxide bath tonight if no life by than. Until next update happy growing and stay lit fam. Day 2 The newborns are looking super happy and healthy. Been some leaf development... They started working on their single bladed daggers. They have really greened up, and are nice and vibrant. Conditons/environment is blessed and dialed in.. sitting at 24.5 degrees celcius 58% rh currently with lights on. Making it comfortable for them for a great start. Until next update happy growing and stay lit fam. Day 3 These little girls are really looking spunky! Real nice green and really responding well to our light height and intensity. Its 22 degrees 67%rh currently with lights off. We are dropping that down as I type to hit around 63% . Slowly going to taper em into around 55% rh. Over the course of around a week. Alls rolling along great! Until next update happy growing and stay lit fam. Day 4 All these ladies are hard at work rooting. Some have fattened up their single bladed leaves. Well others completely fixate on rooting. We are nearing the end of the major rooting period. We should see an increase to above medium growth volume VERY soon. Their pots are drying up and are getting very light. So tonight we will be giving them a watering and their first nutritional taste. We will be giving them 1ml per liter armor si, and 1ml per liter bio root. That will kick off their nutrient program. Let's rock and roll! Until next update happy growing and stay lit fam. Day 6 I did a check day 4 night and the ladies still had fluids. I really want to encourage a good wet to dry cycle! Decided to hold back on watering. I watered today instead using the charted feeding. Each lady received 500ml again. Ladies seem to be switching there focus more to the foliage now. The daggers are getting large on some of the seedling! Perty PERTY! Sure they will be stacking nodes in no time! It's currently 22 degrees celcius 63% rh at lights off. Until next update happy growing and stay lit fam. Day 7 These ladies are really looking green, vibrant, and healthy. They have all got to work on a new set of leaves. They are picking up their strength and vigor. With some solid footing cannabis seedlings can really explode and take off! It's time for lift off fam! 416fireman Day 8 These girls are really going to town now. Growth above the medium has been increasing for the past few days. They all are starting to stack nodes and we should be seeing some 3 bladed leaves soon. We lowered the light 6 inches to give a tiny boost. They enjoyed it all lights on today so that's where itll stay for now. We are off to a great start. Got word we have another 26 master kush beans on the way. Second wave is gunna be much much larger muhahahaha. Until next update happy growing and stay lit fam. Day 9 These ladies are growing strong! Tiniest bit of stretch but no worry. They are getting to work on some new foliage and fattening the old. Poured a touch too much water it would seem last watering. We will adjust but no biggy either... minor response. If not adjusted it could end up to be a big deal though! Always adjust to the response of ur plant. Or matters will extrapolate. Nice green and vibrant seedlings. On to another day! Until next update happy growing and stay lit fam. Day 11 Was super busy yesterday so didnt get a chance to update unfortunately. These girls have really shot up and threw off some foliage! They are booming with growth and man... what a change in such little time. These are going to be some strong plants. Hopefully we get more ladies than males in the group! Tonight I will give them a watering of 1ml per liter armor si ph balanced to 6.4. Solid growth outta all of them, as they stack nodes and fatten foliage. 416fireman Day 15 Ladies are booming along! Watering yesterday teated em great. No progressing signs of too much water. Signs were minuscule but none the less apparent. We got that fixed up right quick. Their foliage continues to explode. Strength has been found... and boy are they reaching deep. We lowered our lights 4 inches to support this greater boom in growth. Until next update happy growing and stay lit fam. Day 16 Girls are killing it in here! Starting to really fill out. We are going to top them all when they get a couple more nodes. 416fireman Excuse the grow light on shots... it's just for this week as I'm very busy. We lolipoped these ladies getting rid of the lower branches we never keep anyways. Figured get rid of em early this time and not waste any energy towards that growth. They seemed unphased by it and continued growth almost immediately. Could have kept em for cuts but they will be booming with growth soon regardless. Got them relocated and under the hps grow light. Until next update happy growing and stay lit fam.
