Alaskan Purple

hanzo385 Here is an Alaskan purple freeb from seedsman. Giving it a try with a few other indicas for a keeper nighttime medication. Pending how the one in flower goes, it will be mothered for clones, or finished without copies.

hanzo385 She's still a baby, but moving along. Got some topping, and a little bending. Much hope for this to be a tasty purple nighttime indica. Looks like it could use a little more mag on the next watering, but this girl handles stresses well.

hanzo385 Moving along slowly, training the thing to get bushy and full of branches. This plant so far seems to be pretty hearty. Great node spacing also. Can't wait to for this thing to get big enough to clone and flower so see how she does where it matters most. The low light isn't helping with growth, but I have some seedlings in with these girls for a little while U don't want to bake.

hanzo385 End of week 3, into 4. This thing has great side branching, and node spacing. I've bent these branches down so many times to Bush it up, as it has so many tops, but they keep popping back up. Will be taking her out of the .5gal pot and into a 3 soon.

hanzo385 The stress is def gone in the one too. Roots are already peeking out if the new 3gal pots. 5 blade leaf turning to 7 green and happy. Spanning also about 20 inches wide as it sits before lst, its ready for flipping, but I still have at least another week for flower room real-estate. Going to tone the lighting back to 100w till then, because theyre already to big for the 4x4 area combined.

hanzo385 She's looking ready, which is good because Sunday, she's going into flower, with some testers, and her cousins Tahoe and gods gift. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

hanzo385 These were supposed to be flipped yesterday, however I almost killed em. Went away for 5 days and they completely dried out. I watered them as soon as I saw, and looks like they will make it, but I'm going to let them recover for another week before I flip them.

hanzo385 Doing well. It bounced back fast with the other 2 that almost died with it. They look healthy enough that I'll go ahead and flip em now. Well see what happens.

hanzo385 Scroged out and flipped. This bulb is like less than 2700. Like 2200 I think. It's super ugly under it, but it still grows just the same as any other color. There are a million little tops on these, so there won't be any massive colas, but many more smaller quality top material.

hanzo385 Looking pretty good. Very closely matched with the other 2 in the group, makes it easier to control the canopy unlike my other one. Took out the hps for a cleaner looking pic this time.

hanzo385 More ugly pics of this one under the hps. Shes doing ok. Next time I'll have to use a different light for pics. Getting fed today. Only 2 more weeks of fert, then to straight ro.

hanzo385 Trying to play catch up on all these diaries. This one, as mentioned with others in the group were a little underside, but recently corrected. The Tahoe was affected most. This Alaskan like the gods gift looks decent. Nothing special. Prob a 17-19% plant. Don't really care as long as the effect and taste are good. Have a clone incase its good. Should try it this weekend before investing more time on it. I have another pheno in rdwc, but it was super lanky. Lots of branches but lanky. A stick of golf balls that can't hold itself up.

hanzo385 Started straight watering about a week ago. Yellowing out and cleaning up pretty quickly. Starting to see some purple showing up. Moderate yeild so far, but there's still 2 weeks to go

hanzo385 Last week for this thing. Looks like a pretty good flush, however nooooo purple. Very very little. I hate when people name a strain purple something, then you have to hope to get the "Purple pheno". Just call it sometimes Alaskan Purple then! It grows well, clones well, and has medium size yeild, but...... if it doesn't have magnificent results, its gone.

hanzo385 I'm not sure of the taste and effect. It would be nice to have some of this info to fill out AFTER drying for weight, taste, and effect once cured. Not at harvest.
