Your light distance is fine and so is your seedling. As for how much water to give, give it half a glass of water every 4 to 5 days, once your media dries out

ScoobySnacks77 The seed is coming in at a bend with some light spotting on the leaves. Also, the second set of leaves are coming in. In order to correct some of these deficiencies, I have used a toothpick to prop her up and moved the light farther away from her. She originally had the light on her about 6 inches away. In the beginning, I was not using a heating pad but around the 3rd day of her popping from the soil, I put the pad underneath her. I have cut back on watering her too much and do so now once a day and spray her leaves about twice a day when I can. I am using my own soil combination which might have too many nutrients for a seedling but when I use peat pellets, the seed seems to die. My germination consists of the old fashion way, which is a wet paper toil in a warm dark place. This technic has never done me wrong. Hopefully, these issues will pass and she will grow stronger as time passes. I did buy a mini fan to put into the dome she is currently in to circulate air on her.

Hi @ScoobySnacks77 You must change the cycle of light hours to 18/6, it will grow better and faster. the distance from the lamp seems fine. it only begins to give vegetative growth fertilizers after the second real pair of leaves is born to form well. your substrate seems to be soaking wet. the roots need oxygen to develop, let the substrate dry well between each watering, control this by the weight of the pot, the substrate when it is dry becomes very light and when it is very wet it becomes very heavy. good luck mate 👍
