Jevonbearbear Dwc hydroponics is fun!

Jevonbearbear This auto is amazing. It’s very bottom branches have swung up to form a three headed canopy with no training at all. Her stalk is already the size of my Organics at their finish. She is showing calyx’s but no pistils yet which I’m happy about bc every auto I’ve ran in the past already started flowering by now. Her roots are a perfect white color in abundance.

Jevonbearbear Realizing that this Ogkz is not an auto. It is a fast flowering strain which is different than auto flowers. I’m happy with this bc I wanna see the yield potential with this dwc hydro setup.

Jevonbearbear Now I have seen the effectiveness of growing hydroponically compared to soil.

Jevonbearbear My Ogkz fastflowering has turned out to be the most impressive plant I’ve ever grown. When you master deep water culture hydroponics your growth speed is def Twice As fast if not more Than soil growth speed. I didn’t imagine a plant like this! This is gonna be an exciting flower period!

Jevonbearbear Had to tie back the two tallest tops to get them from being to close to light.

Jevonbearbear Awesome week. This is a much better run than last run. Plants a really healthy and flowering fast. Dwc Ogkz looks like she could throw 3 zips!

Jevonbearbear This week I raised the ppm to 910, and I’ve been keeping my ph at 5.8 so that calcium uptake is taking place as much as possible. I’m going to raise the ppm up to 1,000 tomorrow and see how she handles it bc this strain is easily over fed. This is def a og kush breath phenotype bc I’m not smelling to much of the zkittles when I do a trichome smell test. It’s very og kush like in smell, and bud formation. So far I’m not seeing any evidence that organically grown buds smell better than hydro buds. My Ogkz is giving off a lot of og kush like terpenes that I feel would not be any sharper if grown organically. Praying that this beast of a girl finishes quickly And is resistant to mold bc I’m having difficulty keeping humidity levels where they need to be.

Jevonbearbear Today is the first day I could smell the zkittles in the trichome aroma. I’ve defoliated and opened up the canopy, but at the same time I’ve tied the outer branches in closer to the light source. This is going to be an excellent strain to make bubble hash!

Jevonbearbear This was my first attempt at hydroponics and it went way better than expected. Awesome yield with grade A bud. I believe the high has the zkittles in there somewhere but the smell and flavor is all og kush breath. On to the next one!
