mango saphire

islandgrows89 so far so good. got some cuttings of mango saphire off a friends beautifull mother plant and put one aside to have as a mother for myself.. I will be doing a sog set up in the end and hopefully it all goes well. my set up is a 1m x 1m x 2m with 4 x 55w cob led and your usual intake outtake set up using 11litre pots bit smaller than what I'm used to using, I try to stick to 20l + normally.

islandgrows89 theres been a lot of growth on these this week and have trimmed off lots of smaller growth at bottom of plant. The babies had there first dose of nutrients this week so should have a growth spurt this week. using GHE nutrients, I've done 2 crops before these mangos using GHE and have had good results. just got to make sure you flush properly. the cuttings them selves where 10 days old before they went in so they are now 24 days old ( 2weeks in tent).

islandgrows89 been busy this week cleaning lower growth away letting any growth on top excel. Happy with how there growing so far and how there bouncing back the next day from de-foliation.

islandgrows89 well it's been a strange week. The country has gone into complete lock down which is not fun, especially when you need nutrients etc. Anyway mango sapphire... great growth even after taking a lot of small leaves and new growth away, and some monster fan leaves that where right at bottom of plant. I've just changed the lighting to 12/12 to start the flower period. they probably had around 16hours darkness before starting there 12/12 cycle.

islandgrows89 little bit of growth from mango this week few new little heads have popped up through the netting this week. Also the plants seem to be feeding a bit quicker which isn't a bad thing. will be putting second layer of netting in this week as well as clearing any new growth below first net line.

islandgrows89 growing nicely and starting to get some really nice smells coming out from the tent, but it can also be a bit sickly as well. I think the mix of sensi star and mango sapphire growing together. I didn't end up putting more netting in because it's hard enough watering now let alone with another net in the way. the problem I'm going to run into this week is running low on nutrients and with this lockdown doesn't look like I'm gonna be able to find any.
