I suggest you to take care with the roots when transplanting, you will have to "cut" the soil to get then out, and that may hurt the roots, as they are very sensible. When sowing seeds, I do suggest you to make it in places that are easy to get the whole rootball together, like in a small cup, or Jiffy pellet.
