Strawberry AK !! Sound's Serious....

Chameleon So here we have Strawberry AKeil,The seed is a cross between Ak47 and Bubblegum and was a freebie received when i ordered my pack of AK47 ( both are from Serious Seeds ) !! So far things are going ok, had a few issues early on with early signs of light burn due to new light ( dimlux 630w dimmable ceramic jobby ), which seem to clear up when i had raised light. I also dimmed light slightly which also helped clear up various leaf symptoms that were mainly situated directly under the light. I have gone back to organic nutrients for this grow, as it's more forgiving 🙏 so until i get my techniques, etc dialed in with soil i will not tempt fate !! and i prefer the taste and smell it produces. I'm growing in Bio Bizz all mix and using Bio Bizz nutrients. 😀 Re-potted into 20l pots from 3l pots yesterday, and they were in them a bit to long due to delays in soil arriving, life, etc ,and were beginning to get pot bound causing growth to slow and various leaf symptoms. Chameleon Stating to fill out nicely now, much happier in new pot !! She's been topped so i'm now LSTing branches into space to form a more even canopy, and removing fan leaves to expose lower growth, etc, Will grow her for a week or two more before flipping her to 12/12 and seeing what she's got 😁. Chameleon Well here she is a week on and she's looking healthy and green ( always a good sign !!) Not done much training other than adjusting ties already on to make the most of available light / space, and removing fan leaves as they grow larger and start blocking light from growth tips on lower branches. Switching to 12/12 this week so can't wait to see what she's got !! Until next week - 👊😀 Chameleon......

Chameleon So this week the tent has been on 12/12 and this Strawberry AKeil has really started to stretch, she's grown a hell of lot this week !!😲 Just continued to water with Bio Bizz nute's following their regime and cut off any fan leaves when they got to big and started to block light, as long as they were enough leaves growing in to replace them without causing to much stress/slow growth. She almost ready for another trim after only a few days.😷 She starting to smell strong now although it's hard to distinguish one from another in my tent as their all different and my Normal AK47 is a week ahead of the others in terms of flowering- but this early it stinks in there so god only knows how it will be toward's harvest !!😋 Well that's another week done, so until next time, keep it green .... 😉👊

Chameleon So second week of 12/12 is over and this Strawberry Akeil has stretched another few inch and is now starting bud formation. Think vertical growth / flowering stretch is now over as budlets are forming and leaf production has slowed down. Have been removing large fan leaves blocking light and any that are touching causing wet patches as they transpire. Have been watering when needed with BioBizz nutes and will continue to for the next week or so, then i will flush through to remove any salt buildup before raising bloom nutes until flush before harvest. Chameleon Well flowering is well under way now, buds are developing at a fast rate now so have started to increase bloom nutes. Her smell is developing now and she has a good foundation for some nice colas. ( as long as i don't mess it up !! ) I'm trimming leaves that get to big and start to block light, as long as there are enough left to sustain fast growth. Chameleon Well this Strawberry AKeil is in full swing flowering now producing lots of crystal covered buds.Think i might be watering some of my plants a little soon, feeding all when 1/2 of them need it, over the last couple of weeks, well i think it's the reason behind leaf symptoms i'm getting. Should of lifted each pot separate, all different strains and requirements !!)😲 which i hope is now sorted and its not slowed things to much. Removed a few leaves to promote growth and remove damaged leaves. Fed with BioBizz nutes increasing bloom formula, and that's about it !! Until next time......😉👊

Chameleon Well another week of flowering has passed and i'm still having issues with regards to various leaf symptoms that keep emerging and i'm not sure why !! She still seems to be growing ok though. Watering with BioBizz nutes at 6.5ph and watering when when pot is light etc, don't think it's deficient due to lack of feed but have purchased some BioBizz heaven and increased nutes and will see if things improve in next few days or so, then i think a flush with weaker nutes to remove any salt buildup is next step. And i also think the light is to strong for some of the taller branches on my other plants and i think i need to move it or dim it to a lower setting as i think this is not helping leaf symptoms !! Well lets hope she has a decent last few weeks and fattens up.👊

Chameleon Well i've made it through another week 🙏 and she seems to be doing ok !! She's fattening up nicely and has a few weeks to fatten up some more. This Strawberry AK smells fantastic and she has a lot of resin all over. Watered her with higher nutes and rotated her a 1/4 turn per day to keep her even, she hasn't gotten any more leaf symptoms and seems to have perked up a bit. Well until next week 👊
