tantrumrage Time for another run in 2024. Got tired of using bottled nutrients so I've decided to give Sonnenerde - Blumenerde a go and hopefully I won't be needing any additional nutrients.
Not much happening as of now, all seed germinated successfully. The eagle eyed among you might count 4 plants: one of them (Blue Gelato) was germinated as a backup plan, since one seed didn't look very healthy. She will be part of another diary

tantrumrage And we're off! Decided to already transplant them into bigger pots (3,5L) so I can try out the Blumat Classic (Watering Cones). Humidity is very low at the moment due to it being winter and my stubborn refusal of buying a humidifier.

tantrumrage Keeping inline with my other grow I've decided top all the plants early (between day 14-17) so they become bushy. They took it well and are already redirecting energy to the new nodes.

tantrumrage It's been a busy week. Finally moved them into the "Eurobox Wicker-System 3000 ". It's similar to an earthbox just as a DIY project. Containter with soil on the top and a container on the bottom serving as water reservoir. Also moved into the bigger tent.

tantrumrage Wasn't sure how the Euroboxes would perform but the plants are clearly loving them and so am I. It's a very low maintenance approach, only filling up the tank when needed. Started adding epsom salts (for magnesium) as their water consumption increased.

tantrumrage The plants have become bushy enough to try some new things: "ScrOG per Box (TM)" saw it on another growing forum and had to try - just like the Euorbox wicker-system.
Did some defoliation while we're at it and discovered a branch with fasciation on Royal Domina. Decided to cut it off because they tend to be difficult to LST.

tantrumrage Not much to do at the moment other than filling up the tanks and admiring the view. They're really starting to smell now. Sherbet is outgrowing the other two but I'm unable to lift the box so I hung the light at an angle as a compromise. Will be adding motorcycle lifts in future grows for easier height adjustments.
