Antarctic Week 3 update:
This week the autos started to gain momentum. Growth rate is increasing, leaves are bigger, and side branches are starting to appear. I continued with the same feeding schedule as before, but slightly stronger.
Nutrients used:
• Terra Aquatica Grow A + Grow B (base nutrients)
• CalMag – 1 ml/L
• Silic Rock – 1 ml/L
• Great White, PowerZyme, Trikologic
Feeding details:
• PPM target: 400–600 ppm is optimal for week 3 in coco with autos.
• Watering: ~500 ml per day, letting ~30% runoff each time to avoid salt buildup.
Training:
• Continued with LST (gentle bending) to open the structure.
• Runtz is clearly the fastest grower this week.
• Amnesia is still stretching a bit slower, but healthy.
General notes:
Plants are adapting well, leaves have a nice green color, and roots are visibly stronger. From now on, they should start showing preflowers very soon.

Antarctic Week 4 update:
Mike Tyson auto had a tough week. The plant looks stressed, with dry leaves and slow growth compared to the others. This is most likely due to overfeeding — I pushed nutrients too hard and the medium probably built up too much salt.
Nutrients used:
• Terra Aquatica Grow A + Grow B – given at too strong concentration
• CalMag – 1 ml/L
• Silic Rock – 1 ml/L
• Great White, PowerZyme, Trikologic
Feeding details:
• PPM was definitely higher than this young auto could handle.
• Symptoms: burnt tips, leaves curling and drying out.
• This week I learned autos need lighter feeding than photos.
Training:
• Very light LST only, avoiding extra stress.
Plan for next week:
• Flush with plain water to reduce salts in the medium.
• Restart with lighter feeding (about 25–30% lower strength).
• Keep an eye on new growth — if it looks healthy, the plant should bounce back.

Antarctic Week 5 update:
Mike Tyson auto is in recovery mode this week. After last week’s overfeeding, I flushed the medium with plenty of plain water to wash out excess salts. The plant is still showing some damage on older leaves, but the new growth looks healthier, so I think it’s bouncing back.
Nutrients used (lighter feeding):
• Terra Aquatica Grow A + Grow B – restarted at ~25–30% lower strength than before
• CalMag – 0.5–1 ml/L
• Silic Rock – 0.5 ml/L
• Great White + Trikologic (for root health)
• Skipped PowerZyme this week to reduce stress
Feeding details:
• PPM kept low (~400–500 ppm) to avoid further stress
• Watering small amounts, more frequently, instead of heavy soaks
Training:
• No extra LST this week, letting the plant recover fully
Plan for next week:
• If the plant keeps showing healthy new growth, I’ll slowly increase nutrients (step by step).
• Hoping it can still catch up and start flowering strong in the next stage.

Antarctic Week 6 update:
This week I focused on training and canopy management. I did some defoliation to open up the plant structure and improve airflow/light penetration. I also shaped the plants with main-lining and continued LST to keep the tops even and strong. The goal is to push all the energy into the main colas so they finish fat and dense later.
Funny moment this week – I actually found a little grasshopper hanging out on one of the leaves! 🦗 Looks like even the bugs think these girls are tasty.
Nutrients used:
• Terra Aquatica Grow A + Grow B – moderate dose (~700–800 ppm)
• CalMag – 1 ml/L
• Silic Rock – 1 ml/L
• Great White + Trikologic – root support
• PowerZyme back in rotation (light dose)
Training & care:
• Defoliation: cleared out fan leaves blocking budsites
• Main-lining + LST to keep canopy flat
• Watching closely for any recovery signs on Mike Tyson auto (still behind but alive)
Plan for next week:
• Expect to see stronger preflowers forming and some pistils starting to stack up
• Increase bloom-focused feeding gradually once stretch slows

Antarctic Week 7 update (start of flowering):
The autos have officially entered early flower – pistils are popping everywhere, and the stretch is slowing down. The canopy is already pretty filled, so I’m focusing now on feeding for bloom.
Nutrients this week:
• Terra Aquatica Grow A + Grow B → lowered slightly as plants shift into flower (~650–750 ppm).
• PK booster added for the first time to support early bud development.
• CalMag still at 1 ml/L to keep leaves healthy and prevent deficiencies.
• Silic Rock 1 ml/L for stronger stems.
• Microbes (Great White + Trikologic) to keep roots active.
Training:
• Final round of LST to open budsites before flowers set fully.
• Light defoliation on big fan leaves shading potential bud areas.
• No more heavy stress training – from now on just guiding.
Observations:
• Runtz is clearly leading with stronger bud formation, pistils are already stacking.
• Amnesia autos are slightly slower but catching up.
• Mike Tyson is still behind (due to earlier overfeeding) but slowly recovering.
• Plants are smelling more day by day – fruity and sweet terps are starting to come out.
Plan:
• Keep PK booster in rotation.
• Watch EC/PPM carefully (don’t push too hard – better to underfeed than burn at this stage).
• Prepare for rapid bud growth in weeks 8–9.

Antarctic Week 8 update (full bloom):
The autos are now in full flowering mode 🌸 Buds are stacking well, pistils are everywhere, and trichomes are starting to show up. Stretch is nearly finished – now it’s all about building flowers.
Nutrients this week:
• Hesi Bloom Complex (base bloom) – plants are responding really well.
• Hesi PK 13/14 introduced at low dose to push flower sites.
• Athena Bloom + Athena Grow (light mix) to balance nutrition and keep a steady NPK ratio.
• CalMag still in rotation at ~1 ml/L.
• Silic Rock small dose for stem strength.
• Total feed around 800–950 ppm, depending on the plant.
Observations:
• Canopy looks uniform and healthy – green leaves, no big issues.
• Runtz shows the most aggressive bud growth – dense flowers already forming.
• Amnesia autos a bit more stretchy, but flowers are catching up fast.
• Mike Tyson slowly recovering from early stress, but now producing pistils.
• Aroma becoming stronger – fruity and slightly spicy terps in the tent.
Training:
• Final LST adjustments to spread colas.
• Light defoliation to open budsites and improve airflow.
• From now on: minimal interference, just supporting the flowers.
Plan:
• Keep PK booster for another week, then evaluate.
• Maintain bloom feed and slowly reduce nitrogen.
• Watch trichome development – early frost is starting, but still weeks to go before maturity.

Antarctic Week 9 update (bloom stacking):
The girls are now deep in flower production 🌸 Buds are swelling up, calyxes are stacking, and trichome coverage is increasing every day. Some lower fan leaves are starting to fade naturally – energy is going straight into flowers.
Nutrients this week:
• Hesi Bloom Complex – reduced slightly (plants don’t need much N anymore).
• Hesi PK 13/14 – full dose this week to push bud swelling.
• Athena Bloom – kept steady, nitrogen almost phased out.
• CalMag – still at 1 ml/L for stability.
• Silic Rock – optional, very small amount just for structure.
• Total feed: around 900–1000 ppm (depending on strain response).
Observations:
• Buds are thickening and starting to harden – Runtz especially looks frosty and compact.
• Amnesia autos building longer, airier colas, but stacking nicely.
• Trichomes visible even on sugar leaves – frost levels increasing daily.
• Some phenos already show slight amber pistils, others still mostly white.
• Smell is much stronger now – fruity, skunky and sweet terp mix filling the tent.
Training / Canopy work:
• Minimal defoliation – just a few leaves blocking budsites.
• Canopy is stable, no more LST needed – just letting colas fatten.
Plan:
• Keep PK booster for 1 more week (Week 10 will be the last push).
• Start slowly thinking about the flush window – depending on trichome check.
• Watch humidity – buds are dense, risk of mold increases.
• Within 2–3 weeks plants should be at peak ripeness.
